Food wad delicious! Came here for date-night on a Monday. It was very quiet and the waiters were very attentive. We ordered the ceviche, arepas, a red bean casserole with beef, and the cornish hen. All of the food was very good. I would definitely go back!
Dulce Vida was AMAZING! From the excellent service to the tasty food, everything was phenomenal. Prices are great and so are the food portions. The place is a little small but the experience is fantastic.
We shared tostones, the empanadas, arepa ceviche appetizers they were all excellent!!!!! The dishes are nicely presented and the condiments on the table including the guacamole were tasty and diverse, The service was also wonderful.
Our neighbors were complimenting the soups, in particular, the ajiaco.
The place has a new feel and a fresh look. The atmosphere is nice.
A wonderful little bistro with delicious food, great atmosphere, and impeccable service.
My third time there. I'll keep coming back.
Dulce Vida has a great staff and amazing food. The Churrasco is a solid choice for either lunch or dinner. The steak is always prepared exactly as I request and the chimichurri sauce completes the dish. We also like to ask for ahi, their spicy sauce, and add a bit of that to any of their dishes -- it makes the food taste even better. The Tostones Cubiertos is delicious and if you're not very hungry, the portion is large enough to have as one meal instead of an appetizer to share. Also, their sangria is potent enough without sacrificing taste. This Latin restaurant is definitely a must-visit if you're in the neighborhood (and even if you're not)!
The owner was hospitable and attentive to the guest. The staff was friendly. The food was amazing.
Great food, great service, chic space!
a fantastic and quiet spot, great for a date. loved the food, especially the ceviche and ajiaco.
The food was fresh and delicious. Very attentive staff. Hopefully location will be able to expand one day.
Delicious food and everyone who works there is so nice! We will be back again soon.
Cute, homey, small place. Nice staff and good, reasonably priced food.
I can’t wait to go back!!
very nice atmosphere and great service. went for the Valentine's prefixe and looking forward to coming back for the full menu
All was good. Seems like a neighborhood place. However, be aware that they automatically add in 20% service charge (we were a party of 4). We didn’t realize this, and added another 20%. Since we are out of state, we wrote them a letter about this oversight and left several message, but have yet to hear back from them.
Terrific cozy neighborhood restaurant. Service professional, pleasant. All food flavorful, well-prepared in generous portions. Will be back.
We had a nice evening. Good food and good service.
The restaurant is warm and cozy and authentic and nice. Food could have been served hotter but overall it was lovely and yummy
I love Ropa Vieja and this is why I took my family here. The only mild criticism is the temperature in the restaurant - because it is so cold out (obvi not their fault) when one whole wall is made of glass panels that open, it gets freezing in the half the restaurant. Bring an extra sweater if you go (you should go) in the winter!
Came with a Colombian friend who was visiting. He was very excited to see many of the items on the menu. Great food, will definitely be back!
The food is always great
Drinks and food were great!
Really good food sangria was exceptional ( no sweet). Very small venue . Close to the Met
This place is really great. They have a small number of colombian dishes, but all delicious and authentic. The service is low key buy pleasant. It makes me wish I lived in the east side, but for me it is worth going to the other side.
We were a party of four on a Sunday evening and made a reservation shortly before arriving as it was a foul night weather-wise and didn't want to roam far. Dulce Vida is a small neighborhood place with a friendly staff and gave a warm welcome in from the cold rain. Familiar Latin dishes were all quite good (my rice and bean stew could have used a bit more heat) and all enjoyed. Full bar with a small but adequate wine menu. Prices moderate and all agreed it was a good value. Tables filled up and seemed some were regulars. Nothing fancy and comfortably casual. Would recommend.
Delicious, authentic Colombian restaurant with friendly service. I have been for Sunday brunch, weekday lunch and Friday night dinner, great dishes include the eggs with arepas, empanadas, ropa vieja and arroz con pollo. Soups are a highlight. And tres leches cake is the best way to end the meal!
Amazing food, music and service:)
Great place for colombian cuisine. The flavor is really authentic... you need to have the sancocho, the ajiaco or the cazuela de frijoles
Food was delicious. First time having Sancocho in the United States and it did not disappoint!
Fantastic and authentic Columbian cuisine 10 mins walk from The Met and 5 mins from the Express subway at 86. A refreshing alternative to the cookie cutter French or Italian bistros which is all you seem to get upper east side. Friendly staff, a menu with something for everyone and upbeat vibe. A neighborhood gem.
Small but pleasant place. Very good food. Colombian food is meat and seafood oriented so vegetarian options are slim.
Very tasty Colombian food. The very tasty chicken soup is a meal in itself. The food is well priced.
First time here. Cozy dining room with nice ambiance. Loud party of 6 made it difficult to hear after they arrived. Service was good, especially before it got crowded.
The food was delicious and fresh. I would highly recommend this restaurant & will return.
One of the best restaurants I’ve ever been to! As a foodie, I’m always looking for something new and amazing. This place, although super intimate, had big flavors I’ve already recommended this to friends and coworkers. This is going to be one of my favorite go to spots when in New York.
Quiet and intimate, friendly staff, the dish "tostones cubiertos" is very good! Remarkable!
Excellent fish specials. Really nicely prepared. Low key place. Friendly service.
I’ve eaten here several times and never been disappointed. The food is consistently delicious and the menu is interesting. Had the salmon most recently and it was perfectly cooked and delicious. Highly recommend.
Cute place, very friendly service. Latin American appetizers were tasty as were the plantains. Beet salad was great. But the rice and shrimp dish was underwhelming with bland rice, a few shrimp and frozen peas & carrots. Really disappointing. Maybe we just ordered the wrong dish. Drinks are great!
