Our waiter (Wade I think) was so good. He allowed us to chat and catch up without coming over every few minutes. But he was always available.
Service was above and beyond , Food was excellent
Everything from the food to the service was awesome! They have a lot of Gluten Free options, which is nice, as well as very good quality seafood! Everything is inflated right now, but I think Dukes was worth it. Also, they had happy hour on the weekend… love that as well!
Love the fact they so many gluten-free options. Our server was excellent and the food was great. One of few restaurants with plenty of servers.
Victoria, our server, was very attentive and made for a great dining experience.
The food was very tasty.
Great food. Wonderful services, very convenient of online reservations system.
Food was amazing. Especially the chowders. Service was great! A bit pricey, but good! The only negative was that tables were too close together. Not much room. It felt like we were touching backs with other diners. Overall good experience
I understand why this location was recommended to us! Everything we tried was FANTASTIC! The clam chowder and crab cakes are out of this world good. Our waitress Ariel was amazing. We will be making this a “must have dinner” on each business trip to Tacoma. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Always a nice meal at Dukes. We went to the Ruston restaurant. Chowder is always amazing. Quick to get seated. Nice atmosphere.
We were very happy to enjoy the sourdough bread with free chowder in addition to the crab dip with crostini appetizer yesterday. As always, service was excellent, the food was hot and delicious out of the kitchen, and staff was on their game.
Thank you for continuing to offer some of the best food on Tacoma’s waterfront.
Great service, great food & great views! Duke's is always one of my first choices when dining out at the Tacoma waterfront!
Delicious as always! The lobster chowder is to die for and the delicious crab cake is served with a nice array of vegetables.
The food was spectacular. I have Celiac disease so the gluten-free clam chowder was a treat. Service was very good. Overall a bit pricey, but good was excellent.
Dukes always delivers on fresh, delicious seafood dishes. During this visit, what stood out was the quality of service. Our waiter, Wade, was particularly skillful—his amiable and engaging manner was warm and personal without becoming intrusive. Ask for him the next time you dine at Dukes!
Great experience always
Great food, ambiance, and service. Definitely a must return!!
We had a wonderful time and even saw a pod o Orcas out in the water. Amazing!!!
Food was great
Servers timing needs adjustments but her team picked up where she needed help
Great food and service!! We we had a great time and enjoyed the view.
A little expensive for what you get …………………..
The wait staff here is exceptional. I think they have the best waiters, consistently, than anywhere else we eat.
And the food is top quality ingredients and absolutely delicious flavors.
Excellent place for a birthday anniversary or special night out.
This was our first visit and we will be back. Service was excellent and the food was delicious. While the restaurant was busy, we could still have a conversation without raising our voices.
Dukes does such an amazing job every time, and they are so flexible to changing needs. The space is beautiful, and the service is as good as it gets in this post-shut down era. The food is pricey but so worth it! For a special occasion, you won't find better in the South Sound.
We were seated immediately upon arrival (within a minute of our reservations). There was a bit of a mix-up with our order but our waitress fixed everything and we were completely satisfied. Duke's does not disappoint.
Great place to eat. Our server was there enough to take care of us but not to much as to intrude.
We made a 6:45 reservation and they had no table for us. They asked if we would sit in the bar. We ordered a glass of wine and asked that it come with our dinner. When our entrees arrived our server was nowhere to be found. We got our wine half way through dinner. Our server came back a few minutes later (we were still working on our dinner) and asked if we wanted the dessert menu. Very disappointing service. Great food.
French fries were great but breading on cod tasted a little off and my clam chowder was very dark, not enough cream
The wait staff was great.
The hostees was very accommodating to our needs
