Great casual dinner on the water even in Covid times!
We love visiting Duke's. Consistently great food, and service.
Nice place, but disappointed. Food was fair but very overpriced. Service was fair, nothing to brag about. Side note: most of the people were very underdressed. Couldn't tell some of the customers from street people. People in general need to take a little more pride in their appearance.
Expensive and very small portions customer service was very good ambiance average
The food and service were very good! The outside deck was a great place to have lunch! The dessert birthday treat was a plus!! Just think Duke’s prices are a little high!! Their clam chowder is the best, but $12.90 for a small bowl???
Great to finally be back inside dining and very spread out amongst other diners. You did not feel that they were near. Very nice!
Unfortunately, the home office has not supported the restaurants well. The new happy hour menu is almost impossible to understand with price references that are general. What is $1 off a beer mean when you cannot tell what is being served or the price.
I really hate to complain about one of my favorite places, but when I pulled up the HH menu for Daniel's Broiler next door it was clear, clean, and offered better value. So was the Ruth's Chris menu and we went there after having one beverage.
The food is excellent & proportions are just right. The service was great. Beautiful view off the deck. I
recommend Dukes & will be back.
Our Waiter and Table Bus Boy were friendly and efficient. Food as good as ever.
Delicious food that came out quickly. We came during Happy Hour and the prices were fair. Highly recommend the crab dip and calamari steak strips! And of course, the classic Chowder is a can't miss!
Love Dukes Lake Union! The nicest people, great view, and the best fish tacos in Seattle!
Wonderful restaurant, service, food and drinks. Can't wait to go back! The soup dinghy idea is A+, and wonderful cocktails.
Visiting the city & Duke’s was suggested by a local. It did not disappoint! The view was breathtaking, the food was phenomenal, and the service was perfect. We had a small mishap with our drinks but the manager was quick to make right and apologize for the inconvenience. From the managers hospitality, to the view and delicious food, I highly recommend!
Great to be out in a restaurant again. Love this location. Though we thought it was a bit more expensive we didn’t care just happy to go out!! Our server was excellent. Only disappointment was 2 people in our group got the cioppino and even though they liked it they were surprised there was no shell fish in it. Thanks to Dukes for hanging in there!
It was well worth the money. Great atmosphere and had amazing music playing. Overall very happy!
Valentine’s day
It was alright. Atmosphere was great and there was soft music playing. But I feel like you are being charged more for the view than for the food you eat. Food prices do. It compare to what you get.
It’s was a great experience!
Always a great experience
Great food and service! Will go back again soon for sure!
Their service was friendly and the staff came right time when we needed. The view was great.
Nice place, a bit pricey. Our server helpful and everything tasted good
Wonderful chowders, salad and fish n chips. Service was excellent!
We had the Coco Loco Prawns, Kentucky Bourbon Glazed Wild Salmon and the Macadamia crusted Halibut with spinach salad. It was fabulous!! The food and service was exceptional!
Amazing dinner on the deck - excellent service -delicious meal and ambiance.
Love Dukes ❤️❤️
even during a pandemic, you can enjoy a wonderful meal outside the home and feel safe. The fish tacos are unmatched and a meal in one tortilla!
Some of my favorite dishes are the Rockin' Rockfish Tacos, Dungeness Crab Stuffed Just for the Halibut, and of course their Award Winning Clam Chowder! They have set up their restaurant for socially distant indoor or outdoor dining. Great service. Awesome view of Lake Union!
The fish and chips were crispy and delicious, as usual. I'm so excited that the restaurant is open!
Great view and food and the service was perfect.
The overhead warming lamps were perfect. We enjoyed our outdoor dining experience with the best seafood. Many compliments to the chef, servers, and management.
Food and service is always spot on!
The Washington mandated outdoor or take out only dining made this a frigid event in January. The people who had tables under the heaters seemed fine but we froze our tails. The food and service was very good though. I do think their clam chowder was top notch and would order it again. I had a little trouble with the fish tacos that were so big that I had to eat it with a fork. It was a big lovely piece of cod cooked perfectly but I think I'd rather have a size I can eat like a regular taco. My wife had the salmon it was also very good. I had a taste and thought the sauce was a bit on the sweet side for my liking.
Everything about their outdoor seating was great! Warm, spacious, safe. Also a great view. The food was tasty, just wish there were a little more variety of options, but during COVID times- more than you could ask for.
it was so nice to have happy hour at the restaurant during this crazy time.
Best clam chowder bread bowl! Kind and helpful staff.
Server was very cordial, however, forgot to bring us our napkins/cutlery even after the bread was served - so no way to butter it.
timing of dishes way off. We were half way on our appetizers, when the main course was
delivered. I sent my main back so I could finish the appetizers. When main was served, it obviously had not been kept warm - tepid cioppino is not very tasty.
Dessert was very good - marion berry pie.
It was a little cold in restaurant. All doors opened and several windows.
We go to Duke's at least once a month (I've been twice this month) usually for happy hours, but sometimes for lunch. Food is wonderful, service great and the view can't be beat. They have done a great job with social distancing and all the other co-vid 19 protocols. I highly recommend this restaurant.
Old school seafood in an updated clean outdoor space. Great shrimp and crab.. amazing chowder
Having a salad only for $25 isn’t worth it to me.
