The waitress and hostess were very friendly and helpful. The food was delicious, and since they had both inside and outside seating, it felt less crowded than previously, and very safe.
The food at Duke's never disappoints. This time we picked the Mother's Day Brunch item that includes bacon, shrimp, and eggs over a toasted English muffin, bathed in hollandaise sauce, red potatoes on the side. Excellent food. My second cup of excellent coffee stayed hot until I was done, so the cup must have just come from the dishwasher or Duke's tries to keep them hot, I don't know which, but it was a nice touch. My only complaint is that we had to sit in a narrow booth because of COVID limitations; there were no other seats left at the time.
Great place to relax and eat. Would recommend to family and friends.
Food and drinks were outstanding and the service was fantastic! We weren’t expecting much due to Covid, but pleasantly surprised. We’ll be going back again and again. Definitely order the cucumber mojito if you go!
Good food, good service, good cocktails. A little pricey.
My experience was different...I though this was a family environment because I was asked to leave. My 2 yr old made one noise
We were celebrating a family birthday and had a great table and our waitress was just the best❤️
Great service. Great food. Dukes doesn’t disappoint.
Great seafood and service as always. Love to order off the happy hour menu, lots of choices and fun to share.
This was the first time we went to this establishment and it was great! Quite a bit expensive but very good:) The service we received was very great too, which is always appreciated!
I understand that Covid 19 has caused some pricing to go up, but when you are charging over $20 for a two piece fish and chips, that seems a bit much.
Shears great food & relaxed atmosphere. Prices is medium range.
We had a great dining experience, we totally felt safe and tables were arranged well distanced from each other. Our server was very attentive and food was awesome.
I've always had great food & service at Duke's. Unfortunately, this time was an exception. We were seated outside, which was wonderful, because it was a beautiful day. However, the service was extremely slow, to the point where we had to call our waiter over several times to ask for more water, when was our food coming, etc. I ordered a fish taco. Server didn't ask which fish taco I wanted when I ordered it, and I didn't even realize at the time that there was more than one fish taco option. When it finally arrived and I bit into it, it was extremely spicy....too spicy for me. However, by then, we'd waited so long already, I didn't want to send it back and wait another 30-45 minutes. So I ate what I could of the stuff around it. Very, very disappointed, especially because it was a special occasion, the first time I'd seen a dear friend in well over a year. I'm going to hope it's a one-off, because as I said, we've always had great food and service at any Duke's we've gone to. Since 'yes' & 'no' are the only options to the next question below, I'll say yes and cross my fingers that it was an aberation.
We ate dinner on the outside patio on a sunny and warm Thursday evening. I had the cod fish taco -- very good. There was a lovely feeling of exuberance around by people who seemed to revel in being outside and eating out and together. Prices here are high. Service was great.
FOOD WAS YUMMY, GREAT SERVICE NICE PLACE PLENTY TO DO AT KENT STATION
WILL GO BACK AGAIN
Dukes Kent Station was the best tasting food we have had at a Dukes in the six years we have lived in Washington! Food was fresh and very well prepared ... our new go to Dukes location.
I love the lobster chowder and I can never get enough bread!!! So delicious.
Delicious food, great service. It seems all dining out prices have skyrocketed tho. Makes eating out now a rare occasion.
Easter brunch at Duke's was quiet and excellent. We expected a buffet, but were served from a special menu at table. They started us with the best scones we could remember having anywhere. Then I had a crab Benedict, which had real crab with spinach over a tasty English muffin, with red potatoes. My wife had a different egg dish with bacon and potatoes over toast. We both went "umm, umm" until almost everything was gone, and we took the extra potatoes home to have with something else. We smiled through the entire experience. Really glad we came.
Excellent brunch selection. Entrees were so delicious and the blueberry scones were to die for. Our waitress had excellent customer service and such an inviting personality with a great smile.
Had the Easter Brunch. Fantastic. The blueberry scones were so good. We will be coming back next Easter.
Delicious fish & chips. Pricey a bit but worth the value.
Greg and his team are outstnding! Always top notch services and great food.
Love their stuffed shrimp and spinach salad. Haven't had a bad meal here.
Very delicious fresh thoughtfully prepared seafood. We enjoyed it very much. The server was fantastic and we can’t wait to return.
Have been coming to Duke's for many years and they never seem to miss a eat. Love the place!! Especially with the pandemic...we're so glad they've been able to weather the craziness of this last year. We plan to keep going as long as they are around and we're still eating. :)
We've been to this Duke's location a few times and it's usually pretty good, but our experience was a bit disappointing. We got seated right away but didn't get a server for about 15 minutes. When the server finally noticed us, she came over and hesitantly asked if we have been helped. We didn't even have menus or silverware on our table, so I'm shocked she said that. The restaurant wasn't even that busy, with no more than 4 other tables. So finding a new table shouldn't be hard. Other than that, food was really good. I wish my salmon entree had a bigger fillet. My fiance also ordered a drink and it didn't show up until we had our meals. We had to ask our server again about it.
Better than ever! Great food and service. Good Covid protections. We really enjoyed our first outing into a real restaurant in over a year.
It was a very pleasant experience. We were warmly greeted and our server Eddie was quite personable, professional , friendly and helpful. The food was prepared quickly, served warm , promptly and was both tasty and filling. I particularly enjoyed the calamari strips and the two rock fish tacos were also quite enjoyable.
We will definitely return soon and often .
Every thing was great hot and fresh
Safe, clean welcoming visit.
This was a Valentine’s Day dinner belated because of the snow storm. The restaurant was not crowded because of COVID restrictions, so it was quiet, and the staff had no trouble attending us at just the right times. I was unsure which on tap malty ale would be best, so the server gave me samples, and her recommendation was the one I liked. The food at Duke’s has never disappointed, and this was no exception. Excellent, excellent. Ate it all, also. Left contented, with smiles.
This is amazing food. I was so disappointed in December we visited and not able to make a reservation or get a table. This was the first time to this location as we were unable to get a reservation at the Tacoma location which we have been to several times when we visit. But this location was the same distance from our hotel In Puyallup easy to get to and food was delicious we had clam chowder seafood salad and crab cake sandwich with sweet potato fries that have a amazing dipping sauce! But you can’t go wrong there the rockin fish tacos are very good and don’t forget to dunk that hot sourdough bread in the chowder .
We ordered some of our old favorites: Rocking Rockfish Tacos and Black and Bleu Wild Salmon Salad. The salad was it’s usual delicious self, but the accompanying grilled salmon was uncharacteristically overcooked and tasteless. The rockfish tacos also lacked their usual pizazz, though they were still good and texturally great. It’s nice how quiet restaurants are these days operating at reduced capacity for COVID-19.
The food was delicious, we had stuffed salmon. The wine was also very good, so glad they have selections from Washington wineries! Thrilled that Dukes could open again!!
Love the gluten free options and wonderfully awesome Team at Dukes!
Appreciate the dinner I received for my birthday, but boy have their prices gone up!
