The food is always consistently delicious-
And the service is unparalleled. It is always a pleasure to dine at Duke’s.
We continue to comeback for your outstanding Chowder --- but this past visit we branched out and tried your excellent salmon presentation. Delicious!!!
Seating was exceptional service was outstanding the atmosphere was excellent I enjoy Eating at Duke's each time I come to see up the food and the plants outer are among the best
As always great experience - the Wait Staff is always amazingly attentive and the drinks + food never disappoint!!
Great customer service, however, way to EXPENSIVE.
Our waiter was very knowledgeable and friendly. The wait time for food and drinks was minimal and everything was delicious.
One of our very favorite places. We had our first lunch there in 1986!
No waiter service. Waited a longtime for someone/ anyone to take our order. No one refilled our water or asked how we were doing during the meal. Horrible service with average food. Won’t be rushing back.
Quiet lunch on a Saturday. Followed protocols of checking for vaccinations.
Friendly staff. Excellent food. Appropriate wait time for food - not rushed or too long a wait.
Happy hour can’t be beat! Get a booth by the window.
The food was not as wonderful as last visit?
The oranges on my salad were old and dried out, disappointing to see the quality go down hill like this?
My brother wanted to take my wife and I out for Veterans’ Day. Duke’s hit the spot. The cocktails were great (Woodford Reserve Manhattans and a Paloma Margarita) and the Lobster Pernod soups a perfect appetizer. Two of the entrées were great: the rib & seafood special and the ribs alone. My crab-stuffed salmon needed more seasoning in the stuffing: it was completely unremarkable. Our favorite marionberry crunch was great as usual. Our server was attentive and timely. We’ll be back!
Chopped crab salad with vinegrette dressing. And clam chowder!
We had a group of 10 for our dinner and the night was fantastic! Cameron did an amazing job taking care of all of us, not being pushy but always keeping an eye on us for any needs. He's very experienced and worth asking for.
The food was excellent! We had everything from their creatively prepared seafood and fish dishes, all the way down to a cheeseburger and fries. Of course, no matter what your entree was you had to start out with the famous Duke's chowders, with 5 to choose from. (First time trying their "spicy corn chowder...and it didn't disappoint.)
We were also lucky enough to be there on a Monday night when all their bottled wines are half price. Obviously took advantage of that, selecting some fine wines that we normally would've passed on.
Everyone in our party was pleased with their meal and raved about the service. We'll be back soon!
The meals were delicious! Cameron was an excellent waiter, he answered all questions and was very knowledgeable about the menu. Amazing service. The chowders were so tasty!
Amazing service, been coming here for years but only a couple times to the newer Bellevue location and the service was just as good as the Alkai one which I consider to be the best service of the Seattle area outbof all places so that says a lot
Originally sat at a booth where the blinds were stuck down and could not see out of the window. We eventually moved to a better location. Cameron was a good server and made sure we enjoyed ourselves.
Birthday. Great food!
The food wasn’t the best I’ve had . And maybe it’s just that location and the cooks but the one in tukwila is way better. There was a piece of length ball in my glass of water which was concerning and disturbing. But my waitress she was fabulous and very considerate.
Great food and great service. Oysters were the best!
Food was good! We celebrated a birthday and everyone enjoyed their meal. The service was great! The only negative is that the price of the bill was high considering what we ordered. I think they could drop their pricing by 10% - 15%, especially on the chowder for how much you actually got for the price.
We went for lunch to celebrate being able to eat indoors again. Our food was amazing. I so love the unchopped salad With the scallops and shrimp on it , and it did not disappoint. My husband had the fish and chips and said that it was the best he had enjoyed in a very long time. The staff was all very friendly and helpful.
I have been going to Dukes for years but their prices are getting to expensive unless it is a very special occasion, and even then there are other restaurants that we can choose. They are very proud of their food but not everyone can afford these prices.
Time to review your prices.
Wonderful lunch date!
Exceptional service and food
As usual, we had a great experience here. The blueberry lemon drop is a drink worth trying if you haven’t yet. Perfect chowder and spinach salad! Highly recommend.
The service was very good. I realize that some foods are hard to come by because of weather, supply chain, and scarcity issues but the menu seemed limited.
Great atmosphere, service and chowder! I’d highly recommend
The dishes were good. Oysters and salmon are amazing. Cucumber jam is very special.
Would go again
Get the halibut!
Best clam chowder on the planet. Service was wonderful and timely
Loved the blackened fish tacos, great food and drinks!
Overly expensive food that was not good. The fish and chips tasted like a filet-o-fish from McDonalds. No one at the table completely finished their meals.
service was very good. however, it would have been nice to have our time to talk. we were visiting (there were no people waiting for tables) and the over attention was a bit annoying. I know it sounds weird to complain about too much attention but because we had not seen each other for a while and thought this would be a good place to eat and visit, it was disappointing that we felt that we were being pushed. We took a total of one hour for our meal. I don't think that is excessive.
food was great, by the way!
We have never been disappointed by Dukes. The food is excellent, and always tasty. Service is also great, we make a reservation show up and are seated.
The chowder, the fish, the bread….all so good. Service is always on point (Sarah kills it). I wanna tell you to stay away so There’s more for me.
We were celebrating my husbands birthday. Dinner was good, I would recommend Dukes. Although it wasn’t as special as I had hoped. We did sit in the bar, thinking it would be more fun, but I think the dining room might have been a better choice. While it wasn’t as I expected we will return.
Great PNW food and and overall vibe, as well as excellent service…will definitely be back !
Our lunch was delicious and the wine choices were not overwhelming but broad enough for all palates. Server was very good. Only issue was loud irritating music. I will never understand why restaurants don’t choose music that complements the atmosphere
