Opened in February 2020, Dukes is Leiths go to bar for great cocktails, an amazing selection of craft beer and our amazing WINGS! Showing all the live sport on our three screens, Dukes is a great local Leith bar with a large rum selection, fun environment & even a street fighter machine!

We pride ourselves on our wings and street food. Fabulous chicken and Cauli Vegan wings, locally sourced, free range chicken, tossed in our own secret coating. Our wings are always a sure thing whether in house or to go! Other food options are available including loaded fries, crispy frickles & cheesy bites.

Roasting hot, not cosy but sweat inducing. Utter lack of customer service. Lack of apparent hygiene measures with chef in a T-shirt and jeans and no hair covering. Wings were breaded (but apparently 24hr brined??) and coated in cheap bulk bought sauces which were more sugar than anything else. We ate about 4/12 wings and they didn’t even question that. Mozzerella sticks just tasted like salty old cooking oil. Really disappointing. The pints were super flat and in random peeling glasses. Felt dirty

Booked using an itison voucher clicking the link on itison, refused to provide the burger option for all vouchers had to substitute for wings for 2 of the party, mistake on the bill which had to be rectified. Quiz was good but very loud music. Good for drinks but not food

Excellent as ever - lightning quick service, tasty food, great craft beers on tap, friendly staff and football on a couple of TVs in the bar. My go-to place for food before heading to Easter Road to watch the Hibees.

Quick stop off at Dukes for some food and a beer before heading up to the Edinburgh Derby at Easter Road. The menu has been considerably slimmed down since my last visit - I think it's being revamped, from memory - but there was still enough on there to keep me and my son happy. The beer selection wasn't the best I've seen on at Duke's (it was a Sunday lunchtime, to be fair) but there was still plenty of good stuff on tap if you know what you're looking for. Great to see a selection of local Edinburgh ales on tap - another reason to love Duke's. Service was friendly and efficient, as ever. Prices were excellent, especially if you've got a Dukes Loyalty Card.

Fantastic visit to Dukes, as usual. We were working to a tight schedule as the bar only opened at noon and the Hibs game kicked off at 2 pm. The doors opened at 12 sharp and our food was on the table within 20 minutes. Went large on the fries and needn't have - there were enough there to feed the entire Hibs team! Great value for money, friendly staff and great beers. Ideal for pre-Easter Road scran and beers.

Booked an it is on voucher to be told they had no burgers because they didn't know we had a voucher. Ended up having to leave. Not worth the voucher so cancelled and got my money back

Another excellent feed at Dukes Leith. Our original booking was for 3 people but we ended up changing it to 6 people so some more friends could join us. All that took was a call to Dukes - not a problem! The craft beer selection was really good, including beers from local breweries like Pilot and Newbarns. Service was friendly, efficient and rapid. The food was tasty, piping hot and excellent value for money - just as shame that the chimichurri fries were off as those are my favourite - there's always next time!

Service was friendly and fast, cocktails menu was extensive and we were given a very generous 2 1/2 hour time slot. The food was a little stodgy, being mostly deep-fried and loaded with carbs, but that isn't necessarily a bad thing when people are drinking alcohol. My brother-in-law and niece were most impressed by the decor, especially the barrel of Wray and Nephew rum in the corner!
