Wonder steaks and we loved the calamari. The apple crisp was phenomenal! We will definitely be coming back often.

Took several business clients there. It was a good experience. Not much to improve on, keep up the good work!

The new decor and furnishings are beautiful. My halibut was delicious as was my friends snapper was equally as good. My husband's steak - and our friend's steak - came out as the wrong cut from what was ordered AND completely rare. Both had to be sent back along with the loaded baked potato which was not done and cold. The management apologized and recooked the steaks and potato. We also got two huge pieces of the carrot cake as compensation. Overall, it was not as good as I anticipated.

The new Due South was sadly a disappointment. The renovation looks nice, but nothing else lived up to the “fine dining” being advertised or honestly even to the old Due South where we liked to dine. The food was mostly okay but nothing special. The best thing we tasted was the lobster mac and cheese side, and the oysters Rockefeller were fine. My chicken breast was served with nearly raw carrot “sticks” scatter all over the plate - very strange presentation and unpleasant to eat. Bread service was forgettable. We were seated at a booth, and all the glassware, table lamp, etc. were placed to the outside of the table so the host and waitress had to reach around them to hand out menus and serve food. I order a glass of sparkling rose but was brought a still rose. Waitress was attentive-enough but awkward with statements like “food is tasting good, I’m sure”. The low point of the meal was when an older man who appeared to be a manager came to our table and made a disparaging comment about the waitress’ performance. The entire meal was an unpleasant experience and a far cry from “upscale dining”.

I ordered oysters and they didn’t have any. I ordered myssels and they didn’t have any. I settled on ahi tuna which was just ok.

Party of 8. No one came by and asked if we wanted drinks while we waited for the last 3 people to arrive. Was roughly 10 minutes after final people arrived that we were able to order drinks and get water. Took a very long time to get drinks, way longer than it should have. We got our appetizers well before we got our drinks/wine. I understand drinks can take a minute at a busy bar, but wine shouldn’t…When appetizers and main courses arrived, there was confusion as to where each plate went. One party didn’t get their meal until well after everyone else. The server, though polite, was out of their league and needs to learn how to check on the table We felt mostly neglected and had to ask to get another bottle of wine, which took way too long to get as well. Ambience was good and like what the owners are trying to do with the place. But for the prices charged, the service needs to greatly improve and the food could have been better. I have had better steaks for a much cheaper price and the seafood dishes were bland. For a higher end restaurant there is work to be done. We will give them another try in a month or two and hope that things have improved.

The food and service were excellent. The restaurant has been renovated and is beautiful. My husband and I both had beef and the quality was superb, thevNY was the best I have ever had. The only negative I the seating for 2. Tables are small and our table was in a high traffic area. Overall highly recommend.

I was impressed to witness the updated renovation upon entering the restaurant tonight. It was really lovely and very tidy. The absence of the genuine Southern Charm and its complete absence was disheartening. I was looking forward to choosing one my favorite things from the previous menu—I had no idea that Due South had changed hands. I was really missed the biscuits that were provided by the original proprietors as the dinner rolls served tonight were definitely not made onsite. The food was mediocre. Nothing to be overly enthusiastic about and a bit overpriced. Sadly, Due South will no longer be one of our favorite restaurants in town.

It’s not just a restaurant. It’s a whole experience! The setting is a gorgeous, modern take on the 1920s. There’s an unpretentious, welcoming vibe. The place was bustling, almost every seat was occupied. I was glad we had reservations. Attire ranged from shorts with polo shirts to dresses and suits with ties. Our table was beautifully laid out. Staff were knowledgeable and attentive. Our server and waters arrived promptly and we ordered so much delicious food, I regret we did not try dessert. I chose lobster ravioli as my main course. Oh, the sauce! Perfectly creamy with an unexpected, subtle kick. It was a great night! Felt like I had stepped into some sort of delightful dream from start to finish! We’ll definitely be back.
