The food and service were OUTSTANDING! We were reminded of our reservation multiple times and inquired about our seating arrangement (some of us are older and hearing impaired). The food was timed beautifully, even though the restaurant was very busy, it was Easter.

Waited 1 hour and 11 mins AFTER we were seated to receive our food. I stopped our server and she advised an accident had happened in the kitchen with sauces (whatever that means). It would have been nice to have been updated during the hour and 11 mins we waited on our food. My favorite dish which is the grouper fajitas and I have ordered it many times was terrible. The fish was so rubbery, I couldn’t eat it. My son’s Mahi was over cooked beyond belief and my other son’s meal literally had zero taste and it’s normally a very tasty entree. Our total bill was over $200 which is average for us but tonight was a complete waste of not only our money but our time. Ended up stopping and getting grocery store sushi on the way home because we were starving and it was 10 times better than the $200 meal we had tonight at Due South. I’m done with this establishment because there are too many other amazing places to eat in Peachtree City that provide tasty food with great service.

I had the surf and Turf w filet and lobster. $57. The med rate steak was tough and drowned with mushroom gravely that covered the plate. Very disappointing. The broiled lobster tail was good but extremely small. The mash and veggies were fair. The wedge salad also disappointed. The she crab soup was good not great. I should have gotten the seafood which is their specialty but everything is all fancy and mixed and paired with special sauces and plates that take away from a great seafood or steak entree assuming the protein itself is superb.
