Terrible service! Waiter didn’t come back after he took our order. 4 other people came to bring us salad/food/check. No one ever filled up our drinks or asked how we were.
Great food, nice atmosphere, accommodating service!!!
Food and presentation were excellent. Our server AJ was personable and a lot of fun. The whole experience was outstanding and we are already looking forward to the next visit.
My husband and I had the pleasure of being served by Shanelle. Her friendly and pleasant attitude added to the greatness of this southern charm restaurant in Peachtree City. The ambiance and food was simply divine. We had the deviled eggs for appetizers and our main course was the chicken breast stuffed with goat cheese . . . . . .DELICIOUS!!
The food is good. However, this restaurant has always struggled with the timing of delivery to the table. I have spoken with management there to no avail. The problem is , we get seated and order a drink. The drinks take too long to get there and then were wrong when we got them. I ordered a vodka martini and my wife a French Kiss martini. They put my bleu cheese olives in her French Kiss & gave it to me. So we had no time to enjoy our cocktails before dinner. Then we ordered our dinner and salads. The salads came about the same time as our correct drinks, and then we were not even half way through our salads and our meals came. The food was hot and the entrees very good, but my side of Brussels sprouts were raw and very under cooked. They really need to work on their time of delivery to the table and properly space out the time between drinks, salad, and dinner to the table so each can be properly enjoyed on their own. It is also a bit overpriced in my opinion.
The meal and our server were wonderful. But the experience was seriously marred by the poor customer service provided by your hostess, Lana, so I don’t expect to return.
Bar service before we were seated was most excellent: one of the best Bloody Marys I have ever had; and the bartender (she) was delightful! The food was good but overpriced. The table service was okay. I would definitely go back to the bar there and probably eat at the bar too.
The food is ALWAYS consistent and delicious! And the servers are top notch!!
Good food - great service - huge portions
My friends and I enjoyed this place immensely! We visit Peachtree City twice a year to attend the craft festival in Gay, GA. We all agreed this place is a must when we come back next time.
Great food and great service. Great for a date night!
Waitress was very inexperienced and service was poor. Dishes sat on table as well as empty glasses and reaching over across in front of our faces to finally take plates away after we had dessert
Not our best experience here.
We’ve had better experiences at due south in the past
Due South is great. Great food and lots of variety on the Southside of Atlanta. Have been here 4 times and it is great every time. Will be back for sure!!!
We are always more than satisfied with our visits. Due South is our place to go when we have family or friends vixi\ting in or around PTC!
Overall the experience was good. Our waiter was very attentive. I loved the she crab soup but my entree was very bland. I had the Ny strip and my fiancé had the duck. He didn’t enjoy his entree either.
We waited an hour and a half for food to arrive. By the time we received it, it was cold. The manager gave us a $20 off coupon as an apology, but it didn’t serve us since we live out of town.
First time at this restaurant. Had the shrimp & grits - delicious! Very different presentation, very flavorful. My friend had chicken & waffles which was delicious also. We will definitely go again.
Loved it! Food was great and our server was fantastic!
Always great food and service! Highly recommended!!!
I enjoy going to Due South, but getting in on weekends can sometimes be challenging. This is definitely a Southern restaurant, don’t expect the meal to be quick.
Prior to our dining there was a large party.. The staff was still cleaning the area when we were seated. The hostess who seated us said she would be back with out silverware, she never returned. The ceiling in our area needed cleaning near the air vents.
Our waitress was delightful. She appeared a little frazzled,, but attentive. We believe she was working with inside and outside diners. Nevertheless, she was gracious dealing with my indecisiveness. Her friendliness was delightful. There’s nothing like service with a smile.
The food was delicious! I highly recommend their cauliflower steak vegetable plate. The calamari was not rubbery as it is in too many restaurants.
Kudos to the chef!
We shared our complimentary dessert ... Thank you Due South!
Due South is not about ambiance, but it Is the closest to fine dining on the south side. Come on down and experience some really good food!
Prior to being seated we told our hostess our reservation was made on Open Table.
Every meal that I have had there has been DELICIOUS!
The experience was AWESOME. I read reviews and decided I wanted to try this restaurant. Hands down it was amazing. I highly recommend Due South restaurant. We made reservations and was seated in minutes. Our server Matt was excellent. If you’re in the area please dine.
Dinner with my spouse and my parents at Due South. Love the restaurant and the server was amazing. My husband and I shared the full rack of ribs and although he enjoyed it, I just thought there was WAY too much sauce. I think I like my ribs dry and I like to add my own sauce. The taste was good and the salads were great.
Food & service were excellent. The ambiance around the bar room is great but the other room where we were seated lacks ambiance. I think the food was a bit overpriced for the overall value.
This was a nice southern restaurant and our first time visiting. We enjoyed the rib-eye dinner and the peach pie ice cream was awesome. It turned out to be great place to take my wife for her special birthday.
We were lucky to have Chris, a Manager, as our server due to a "call off". He is the BEST : knows each customer like a "book" - we all feel like family because of his attention to detail, professionalism and perception of customer needs/issues. Also, I'm so glad to see the salmon salad sweet potato chips back on the menu - MY FAV...……. I wanted to try the crab cake sandwich, but I wasn't that hungry -maybe next time.. Thanks to Due South for having a great/quiet/comfortable place to dine. None of the "new" restaurants in town are quiet or comfortable and they don't understand the word "dine"...……….
I had the duck. Poor duck died twice. Once to get to the restaurant then the chef murdered it again in the kitchen. That’s my post.
We had early dinner for 5 adults and two small children. Food came early. Food was outstanding. All good.
We had friends traveling from Florida to Indiana this week. With plans for a stop over in Newnan for the night had me immediately making reservations at one of my favorite restaurants. We were greeted cheerfully by several folks, seated in a booth where conversation was easy, and enjoyed an incredible meal with top notch service! Plate presentation was lovely, but every dish was as delicious as it looked. Have to try the fried green tomatoes.
Beth was an amazing waitress! She helped us through the menu since we were first time guests and made our experience so good! Will most definitely be back!
Our first time here and we were not disappointed. The ambience is amazing and the service was outstanding. The food was very good and really filling. Great selections. So happy to find this really unique and quaint restaurant. Will certainly frequent in the future and recommend to friends.
Beth our server was great! The food was delicious and the ambiance was just right for a Sunday afternoon.
I took my best friend out to dinner for his birthday!!! The food was amazing we both had steak the service was impeccable and the ambiance was very much appreciated!!! Would definitely come back for the 3rd times the charm😃
very good location and well treated
Drinks were good. Service was good. Appetizer (alligator) was good, but how hard is it to fry meat and add buffalo sauce? Salads good. The grouper special with crab cake was horrible, unless you prefer your meal drenched in oil and tasteless. Pork tenderloin was adequate. Overall, I wish I had stopped before spending the 60$ on flavorless entrees and the experience would have been really nice. Side note, I did see a couple of burgers delivered to another table and they looked fabulous!
We usually love Due South. But we were really disappointed Saturday evening. We had reservations to take my family and parents who were visiting from out of town, but there was no table available for us. We were offered the “Whisky table,” a long table where there were already other parties eating, and told that was our only option unless we wanted to wait for 30 or so minutes. We ended up waiting that full time for a table, but were super disappointed with the lack of concern or service to get us seated. Our waitress was nice enough and the meal went fairly smoothly after we were eventually seated. This is not the experience I had come to expect from Due South.
Great food and drinks! The food & drink specials were delicious.
The food was inferior to previous visits. Barely any sauce with the shrimp & grits.
One person got a dirty napkin with dried food on it. His silverware was wrapped in it. Yech!
And we’ve had this certain waiter before, he has uncomfortable manner & is not a bit engaging.
We probably won’t go back for a very long time.
We went here for my Wife and I's birthday. Made notes in the reservation request and expected to spend an absurd amount to have a nice time out. I have been in the restaurant side and the bar sides in the past. I was expecting to be placed in the restaurant side the family was placed at the bar. After checking the restaurant side it was empty, no check on the notes from open table were used in the reservation. Overall I like Due South, but their attention to detail was definitely missed.
