   3回目ですが、サービスやお料理の味も落ちていてがっかりしました。特に受付の人が悪くて、トイレに行くときも案内はなく、か帰る時の見送りも無かったです。空席も目立ち以前よりもさびれた感じでした。次回は行かないかもしれません。

   Sat by a private room that was very noisy and people inside were smoking cigar, the staff should have been very proactive in closing the door so as to minimize noise and more importantly the cigar smell.

   We had drinks at the bar before dinner. The bar had no music and it felt dead. The food was good in quality but nothing really to rave about compared to other Cantonese restaurants. More importantly, service was slow, and mediocre. Not worth the cost.

    The food was totally overprized. We paid for a glass of Rose Wine 150 HKD. When the waiter put the wine into the glass, there was a tiny bit left in the bottle. He left it over - I wonder who will get this tiny leftover.

    We love Duddells in London and were excited to try the original in Hong Kong while we were visiting. Unfortunately, the food didn’t meet expectations, the two dumplings we wanted were not available and the ones we got were limp and mushy. Drinks were insanely expensive (but maybe that is just HK?) and overall our bill was extortionate for what we got. Noodles were tasty and crispy suckling pig was nice but we’ve had better at cheap dim sum restaurants. Ok Dim sum but not worth the cost...maybe the fine dining restaurant would be a better option but we won’t be back to try it. Cute outside terrace to dine in but overall disappointing for our one special meal in HK in transit back to London.

    Excellent food at Duddells..... especially as we got to have cocktails on the terrace and then enjoyed a lovely dinner without felling rushed by the staff. Definitely recommend when you are feeling a bit flush but worth the money!

    We visited at night, It was quiet and cozy, staffs were so nice! We totally loved it. Highly recommend! :) We enjoyed a meal but we recommend dumpling than fried rice. we ordered beef fried rice(originally fried noodle but we asked to changed it) but beef pieces were too small, couldn't feel any beef taste. Shrimp dumpling, iberico pork dumpling were great!

    We arrived early and were seated upstairs for a drink, an hour later no one came to check on us to let us know our table was ready. When we asked the staff there was some confusion and we were given the upstairs menu and told this was our to table, only to be then told by another waiter that our table was ready downstairs. Downstairs in the restaurant portion sizes tasty but on the expensive side. The duck was the major let down for us, first course was only the duck skin with no meat? second course was diced duck served in 6 lettuce cups. There's no way a whole duck could amount to this portion size. When I asked the waiter where the rest of the duck was he said, 'what the bones'? they have be thrown out. I've eaten at plenty of Michelin star restaurants and Duddells falls short, this combined with spending USD $400 (3pax) on a meal, you expect a better overall dining experience.

    The food was excellent...but the service was very bad and resulted in a spoiled evening. When the prices are as high as they were (and they were high!) the service should never come in question. And it was pretty bad. Keeping in mind we were the ONLY table there and there were many many service people running around... - We were told we had to order desert before we were served our main course because they were closing the kitchen. (it was only 930?) - After being told we could not order any more food, we waited 30 min and then I had to go ask for the bill (?) - It took 30 min to process the payment for the bill because the server made a mistake with the credit cards. - Despite it being their fault, they didn't offer any concession (a glass of wine maybe? box of moon cakes? Anything?) for making us wait 1 hour for them to settle the bill because of their incompetence. I'm giving them 2 stars because the food was very good. But after spending US $300 on a meal, we left very disappointed. What a pity!

    Dudells Was a dissapointment in terms of the Food and general experience. It Was perfectly ok Cantonese Food that Was totally overpriced. Service started good and attentive But then started lacking in attention Although the restaurant Was totally empty. I am not sure What the hype is about.

    Was very disappointed by the Peking duck in 2 courses. The duck was presented and it looked lovely and to be a good size. The first course was supposed to be served traditionally with pancakes and accompaniments except all we were given was a plate of skin and absolutely no duck attached to any skin. I asked if this was all that was to be expected and they said yes as they only serve it this way in Hong Kong which I find very hard to believe they would do this so differently in their London outpost to which I have been and had the Peking duck there. It was also very cold since it took them forever to slice and serve the duck. I suspect the server who was slicing had not been very experienced. As there were only 2 of us, my husband found 1 piece that had a hanging bit of duck on it and gave it to me to try to cheer me up from the disappointment. The second course of Minced duck in lettuce cups was a huge serving likely because of all the meat that had not been served in the first course. I found the service very dismissive. Nevertheless, if you only ordered the Peking duck first course, you would not have gotten any value for your money. And if you want a minced duck second course that is heartier than the first, then this is the place to go. Would recommend Mott 32 for Peking duck over Duddell’s any time.

    The service falls short of a Michelin Star establishment as I had to continually remind the staff to change our plates. It was difficult to catch their attention most of the time. Dishes were hit and miss with the roast duck and abalone soup proving to be a huge let-down considering the price charged. Iberico pork and dimsum dishes were good but to be expected for what they cost. The upper level roof garden is beautiful but only serves a limited menu. It is small wonder that my HK friends always prefer Fook Lam Moon which serves higher quality foods at even lower prices than Duddell’s.

    Disappointing experience given the reviews we read which lead us to visit Duddell’s Cocktails on terrace were excellent and staff extremely attentive However service in restaurant was very unfriendly and unhelpful

    Had to return one of the seafood soup because the broth was too fishy. We didn't expect an apology or anything like that but the manager kept on asking our server and looked at our table rather than coming up to us, which seemed very unprofessional. When the dishes were cleared up the manager came up to us asking "Check?" with an attitude. HORRIBLE service experience I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone but do come here for nice ambiance.

    Went there on last Thursday with ex school mates. Good food, excellent service, comfortable ambiance but a bit pricy. Normally go there on business purposes and last Thursday was for friends gathering but it find it worth to go back in all kinds of occasions. Didn’t try the wine because still need to work in the afternoon but I have noticed quite a hood and vast wine collections especially you can have a glass of Ruinart Champaign before the meal.

    Both the ambiance and food were great. Would definitely come back with a bigger party so that we could order more! Service was ok tho. Some waiters have no smile on their face - the overall experience would definitely be more memorable if service can be improved.

    Server, sommelier attitude was not that good. Some uncomfortable feeling that give a pressure to order additional wine (we bring ours, and say that we'll charge corkage fee) and food at first time. (We said that we'll order additionally)

    $60 for condiments we didn’t even use and service was too rushed. They served our main course whilst I was only half way through my soup! Therefore mains were cold when I got to eat them. Everything was over and done with for a 4 course lunch in about half an hour - not quite the fine dining experience we expected.

    Beautiful restaurant, very attentive service and delicious food. For a westerner the menu was very unusual, so may not be for everyone, but worth it for an authentic high end Chinese meal
