Went two years ago and loved it- food was still good, but the service really ruined the experience for us. Got one dish way later than the others, and the bill was messed up. We had to repeatedly flag down a server, never got more water. They werent busy otherwise i wouldnt mind as much.
We have been there multiple times and every time has been a fabulous experience!
So far best restaurant in Bridgeport area. Well recommended...
Great food in a unique setting. Staff was very friendly and I would definitely recommend this restaurant to others.
Great place! Awesome little neighborhood restaurant. Get the rotisserie duck :)
Cozy atmosphere and great service to accompany the delish food!
The staff at Duck Inn has always been amazing. They have a way of making you feel special. The service is superb. When I dine there, it’s like walking into a good friend’s home. I feel welcomed and cherished.
The food is top quality. The chef pays attention to the details that create a dining delight. I’ve been going to The Duck Inn since they opened and I’m impressed that their mainstay menu items are presented with consistency that is the hallmark of excellency. I’ve never walked away disappointed.
As for value, it can’t be beat. Even the diverse wine list is reasonably priced.
My only complaint is that it’s become too popular and I can’t pop in without a reservation as often as I use to. I am very happy, however, that others have discovered it!
My wife and I enjoy going to Duck INN. There specials are always good and our favorite is Thursday, Southern Fried Chicken night. Drinks are always good! Service is always outstanding!
Everything was so good that I immediately booked again for this Saturday! What else is there to say?
We enjoyed The Duck Inn immensely. Good is excellent . Duck entree delicious , must let Restaurant know in advance if you would like this. Wine , excellent . Dessert amazing
Everything was delicious. I especially enjoyed the Sope.
Beautiful day, great food, great drinks, great friends!
Amazing! Food was delicious, our server Daniel was just great. Can’t believe we haven’t been here before - left wanting to come back ASAP:). Thank you! We done out A LOT around Chicago- The Duck Inn will become a go to.
Unfortunately we were not notified that we had to pre-order to have dick at the duck inn, even when we were called to confirm the reservation. We could not try the duck which was the one thing we were going there for.
Duck INN is one of the few good restaurants in the Bridgeport area. Not the biggest menu but what they have is always good. Plus the duck is always a good choice. Drinks a bit expensive but still worth paying for. A good couples out night place to visit!
I enjoyed my meal very much but, the DBLT was very greasy. It was served with potatoes. The mimosa was 9.00, I thought it was over-priced. We were sat outside in the sun . I should have asked to move but, all tables were taken.
I will definitely return to try it again. I’ll ask for an indoor table.
I really wanted to give them 5 stars but, I need to go back.
I will say one thing, the service was impeccable. Husband had a double burger which he said was great. It was served without a side. It needed something else on the plate.
I ordered greens which were great.
The bill was 98 dollars with an 18% tip.
3 mimosas and a beer.
A true gem.
Sophisticated and delicious.
I’ve enjoyed fine dining throughout Chicago for years and find Duck Inn to be among the most charming spots in the city. The rotisserie duck with foie gras is my favorite signature dish of all time. The bonus is that the cocktails are also phenomenal.
Food was excellent!! Servers excellent as well.
Great place to catch up with old friends!!!
Most of the small plates were very good, but the octopus was so-so and the Wagyu steak surprisingly tough and not so flavorful. Should’ve called ahead for the rotisserie duck!!
We go here every year for our anniversary. The best food, best service, great atmosphere, hands down our favorite restaurant. 10/10 every single time.
Great service from Carl. Biscuit one of the best ever!
This was my second time eating here and the food is consistently excellent, as are the drinks. We pre-ordered the duck, always a favorite. The wait staff was friendly, just perhaps a little understaffed so we had to wait a couple times to get the attention of our servers. The outdoor patio is beautiful with greenery and cool lighting, much preferred to eating inside. The music was good but a little loud because we were near the speakers. We will be back because overall this is a fantastic place to eat with friends or on special occasions.
The best place to eat in town- finally got the duck. It was incredible!
Had a great brunch with my parents
The Duck Inn has it all—starting with a friendly and very accommodating staff, an amazing menu with absolutely delicious food, a wide selection of beverages both alcoholic and non, and a lovely outdoor patio area to enjoy it all in! My rowing team will be back for sure! Thanks !
Every time we go to Duck Inn it’s the best meal of my week . . . 13 year old Joe Flanagan
We recently celebrated our 10th wedding anniversary at Duck Inn and returned 2 weeks later for dinner prior to a White Sox game. Both times were memorable experiences and we plan for many additional return trips, both in connection with Sox games and for no reason at all, other than a great meal, great service, and great fun.
Awesome food and great service. We will certainly be back!
A bit of a hike to get to but worth it as a destination. We were nearby at the new Hilton-Asmus gallery and so it was the perfect spot to follow up the art show with dinner. The flavors were all on point! Nice ambience especially with the nice weather so was able to sit out on patio and enjoy !
We ate outside. The patio was lovely with greenery and flowers. Charming.
Very relaxing evening
Food was delicious.
This place never disappoints! The food is incredible, as is the service and the beautiful outdoor space!!!
Every bite of everything e we ordered was delicious!
The Duck Inn is our favorite restaurant in Chicago. Impeccable food and kind service, every time.
The food was phenomenal, the ambiance was wonderful, and James provided the best hospitality. It was my first time here and will most definitely be back!
Service was great with James who went out of his way to make it a special night. Rotisserie duck was the usual..Wonderful!
Love the outdoor setting at Duck inn. We only have the whole duck which is good wonderfully Beet appetizer was delicious.
Our server was less than. Attentive. We were in no hurry but it was a little odd. Other tables turned over twice while we there
Friendly service. Food was made with quality. Drinks were refreshing. Quaint and unique menu.
Lovely and delicious with a diverse clientele. Will be coming back.
Food outstanding. Original server a little odd. We asked for ice and responded “I’ll see what I can do.’’ Was not friendly. Second waiter excellent.
For the BEST DRINKS IN CHICAGO, go to the Duck Inn. Brandon Phillips continues to create amazing new libations. Between the 4 of us we tried everything on the cocktail list. Each one as good as the last. My favorite NEW drink was the Rubber Seoul Milk Punch. Zen by the Sword still remains my number one crave.
The food. What's there to say? The Duck Wings and Brussel Sprouts are perfect 10'S. The flank steak was off the chain. I ate the Hamburger for the first time, WOW! Meat to bun ratio is perfect. Flavor, outstanding! Duck Inn remains one of my top 5 Restraunts in the country.
