The Duck is always wonderful, but this time it was exceptional! It was a fabulous evening out and don't miss the cheese curds next time you are there!

Service was amazing! We pre-ordered a duck and it was super crispy. Sat inside on a rainy day and I felt comfortable with their COVID precautions. Dividers have been set up between tables. Will go back to try out patio next !

The food at duck inn is delicious. 4 of us split, octopus, burrata, Brussels sprouts, the signature duck, hamburger sandwich. The hamburger and Brussels stood out as they were both outstanding! I would recommend everything we got. We were upset that we were to full to try more food. The cocktails are all handcrafted and amazing. We all can’t wait to go back.

The RW menu was meh. The portions were super tiny, which is not the normal vibe of the restaurant. I dislike when the RW menu is not reflective of the normal culture of the restaurant. The food itself was okay. Nothing to write home about. My husband did not do the RW menu and ordered the Decent Beef. It was okay. Portillo's is better.

Restaurant week menu was too sour overall and the server treated us and the table next to us with very different vibes? Why? Just because we were quiet or the way we looked.

I think that this might have been the best meal of my life. We ordered family style and shared everything. You have to order the duck wings they fall right off the bone and the grilled octopus melts in your mouth. You are missing out on the whole experience if you do not order the whole duck, it’s amazing. Also the duck fries ANIMAL style is the way to go!! Don’t forget to get a bottle of the gamay to pair with the whorl duck. I can’t wait to come back

Thursday’s chicken dinner was so delicious. Paired with the most flavorful collard greens and silky smooth mashed potatoes. My choice for dessert was the famous duck dog which is everything you’ve ever dreamed about in a hotdog. Neighborhood gem off the beaten path. Amazing and friendly staff with awesome cocktail menu

Truly enjoyed my dining experience at the Duck Inn. The staff was engaging. The food was delicious and their drinks were superb. The question is not "if" but rather "when" will I be back. To say I enjoyed myself is an extreme understatement.

We came here for a birthday dinner, and had planned to get the roasted duck but ended up having the restaurant week menu and boy am I glad we did that!!! For someone that has to dine gluten free, they were able to safely guide me through the meal and my boyfriend thoroughly enjoyed the gluten filled selections - with the pasta being his favorite. The menu was created with intent and everything was fresh and full of flavor. The staff was attentive and went above and beyond for an allergy. I’m glad we ventured out of the heart of the city for a delicious and one of a kind meal. We will be back for patio season!

Went to the Duck Inn for restaurant week. Food was really good! The portions are small but very, very tasty. Really enjoyed our meal. There were 2 tables around us that got the duck and it looked fabulous! My husband really wanted to have that but I am not a duck eater. Everything we chose from the pre fixe menu was fabulous.
Here is my reason for the mediocre overall review; the chef/owner was walking around taking care of business and made it a point to stop and ask the aforementioned 2 duck order tables about the food, "how is the duck", etc. Cool, right? Well, while passing our table many times AND being the one to take our payment from us, did not ask us anything at all about our meal, our experience, or about anything! I was taken aback by this. Is it only important to ask your patrons about their meal if they order the duck? It's not like we didn't spend a good deal of money. It kind of left me with a bad taste, so to speak. I had been waiting to go here for over a year now and frankly, not sure with all the other fine restaurants in Chicago that I will rush back.

Food and service were outstanding. I could taste the depth and detail in the food and the cocktails were amazing. Born and raised in Bridgeport and never having visited the Duck Inn, to say I was pleasantly surprised is a total understatement...I'll be coming back for sure!!

I am so happy I discovered this amazing restaurant during Restaurant Week and I can't wait to go back! The atmosphere was great, the host, server, and waiter were all so friendly and the menu left us wanting more. I can't wait for the weather to be warmer so we can enjoy their patio, and more of my friends to get vaxed so we can try the cheese curds and rotisserie duck!

Overall the food was good but I wasn't wowed for the price. My favorite dish was the chicken thigh, that was perfect. The agnolotti was good but I've had better. We also tried the burrata and brussel sprouts. Portions are generous. I tried it but not eager to return.

First time at Duck Inn and went there for brunch. So many good things to choose from. We tried the homemade spam, collard greens, duck wings and cheese curds. Everything in this eclectic smorgasbord was outstanding, and the drinks were great also. So much food, we had to take home a bit of everything! I drove 45 minutes to get there and would definitely do it again.

The duck inn has been our safe outdoor dining go-to throughout the pandemic- and it was a pleasure to come inside for the first time now that we've been vaccinated (and almost have the entire back room to ourselves by the time our meal started!) on a late Saturday night. As always, it was pleasure and the food was outstanding. The restaurant week menu was really amazing.

We love the Duck Inn! And we were so happy when the indoor dining allowed us back in.
Clearly they follow all Covid-19 protocols, and we felt safe and good about being there.

We pre-ordered the Duck Dinner, so delicious and side dishes as well. The rose wine was also excellent. Most of all, the service was fantastic!!

Only negative: the lighting was so dark that we could barely see what we were eating.

That being said, we love this restaurant and we will be back!

The food was absolutely delicious. We had the duck and it was juicy, crispy and tasty. We also tried the octopus and for dessert, the tres leches bread pudding and gotta say it's hands down the best food I've had in a few years.

The service was also excellent which made the experience all the more enjoyable.

I can't wait to go back and try the other menu items.

Very clean and safe. The wings were Great! As always. The fun drink selection is tasty and exciting to try. We went with a family style steak. It was yum. The fixings were yum. My only knock was the fatty parts of the steak. Could’ve been trimmed a little better. It seemed darker than normal but it was date worthy lighting in the bar seating area. Always down to earth and well done service.
