This was a lovely meal with a lovely server team. The food was amazing. We went a little rouge and put the fois gras on the broccolini and it wasn’t a bad choice. The duck pate is a must.
I’ve been to DDG several years ago. Loved it then and still love it now. Food and service were excellent and we had a beautiful evening to sit outside. I definitely recommend this restaurant for unique food and drink.
The service at this restaurant is incredible. Small feel in a very busy Fells point. Food was delicious and the drink selection was varied enough to fit the wide pallet of our group of 5.
Food was fabulous!
One of the best meals we've ever had in Baltimore. Can't recommend enough!
Both the food and service were amazing. Sat outside and the atmosphere around the square was a fun accompaniment to dinner. Loved the food. Great spot!
Food very good. Choices for everyone. Very loud indoors in side room. Also warm. Bar was cooler and quieter.
Great food and service. Such an awesome brunch!
Bronzino was great, scallops were good, risotto was underwhelming. Cocktails and service were great!
Excellent, the duck confit is to die for!!!!!!!!!!
This was the best dining experience I have ever had. Outstanding on all fronts....food, service, atmosphere, the manager.
My wife and I had looked forward to dining at Duck Duck. We looked up the menu on line and it seemed promising. The Duck Confitwas listed for $22. When we arrived at the restaurant, we scanned the menu again and the Duck Confit was now listed for $26. Later, when the bill came, the Duck Confit was listed at $28. The Charcuterie tray was good but it was downhill after that. We ordered our cocktails but had to ask after them when the appetizers came out. My dirty martini was fine, but my wife's"Through Rose Colored Glasses" tasted like strawberry cool aid, unacceptable for $18. My wife left it largely unfinished. At this point, the servers brought our entrees. We hadn't finished the appetizer and suddenly felt pressured, far from a relaxing meal. Particularly after they tried to remove the appetizer tray that we hadn't finished yet. I ordered the Hamburger with Foie Gras. I couldn't taste the Foie Gras and opened the sandwich to see if it was on there. I couldn't tell. A good burger but not worth the $28. The surprising thing was the restaurant didn't offer Duck Fries. The Burger came with a very small side salad. My wife order the Duck Confit. That didn't look appetizing and the taste lived down to its appearance. It wasa duck leg on top of two thick wedges of some kind of dry crunchy toast like substance. The duck skin was dry and we ate only the meat inside which was nothing like the culinary experience I had expected. We decided to skip the desert given how disappointing everything else had been. I pointed out to the server the price discrepancy on the bill and that I didn't want to pay for the strawberry cool-aid. In the meantime a table near us returned their drinks. I gave 2 stars instead of one because the manager did everything she could to make repair, comping us the drink and the Duck Confit and gave us two $50 gift certificates. I don't enjoy writing negative reviews but I rely on reviews when considering a restaurant and wanted to be honest.
Great experience overall! Server was awesome and so were the cocktails! But the food is the star, we tried a little of everything and loved it all! Highly recommend and we will be going back!
Food was DELICIOUS!! Highly recommend the Duck Confit and Duo of Beef. The charcuterie and cheese portions were slightly smaller than anticipated but delicious and came with some spreads and veggie pieces. The Duck L'Orange was an excellent cocktail. They even did a little sparkler and gave us some champagne since we were celebrating our anniversary. Can't wait to go back!
This was by far the best restaurant experience my wife and I have ever had. The food was amazing (duck confit and their burger were soo amazing), the staff were a delight, cocktails were unique and on-point, and was just an amazing experience all around. We came here for our 1-year wedding anniversary and it did not disappoint. Our experience at Duck-Duck-Goose was one of the highlights of our anniversary and we plan to come back every time we visit Baltimore.
Cannot recommend this place highly enough! The food was fantastic, and the service was far too generous. We went to Sunday brunch and ordered the duck confit and waffles (SO GOOD, you must get this), and they told us shortly after that there were some issues with their waffle iron and that our food would take a little longer. No big deal! Stuff happens, and we were enjoying our Sunday morning with a bottle of bubbly and were in no rush whatsoever. In the meantime, though, they sent us a cheese plate and shrimp and grits, which was very generous. Our food eventually came (and truly not even that long of a wait--Sunday brunches are always busy and we're never in a rush for them!) and was fantastic. In the end, though, they ended up also comping our entire meal due to the wait. Simply too generous! We thought that sending us some extra food was more than enough compensation for a slightly longer wait! A very classy joint run by very classy people with stellar food!
The ambiance of this place is perfect for a brunch amongst friends. It’s eclectic, inviting, and unique. The service is great, everyone was nothing less than polite and patient, which was appreciated. The food is the best part, as it should be. I personally tasted the Duck Confit & Waffle, and the Nutella Stuffed French Toast and they were both cooked well, came out in a timely manner despite how busy it was, and tasted delicious. The duck was actually the best I’ve ever had. Despite being a small space, I felt it was very clean, and the seating is placed in a way as not to feel too claustrophobic. I really enjoyed my experience and would definitely return.
I think we went on an off day, but the service was very poor for brunch on a Saturday. The waiters didn't seem to know much about the menu, as we asked for a cheese recommendation and they ended up recommending the cheese we already got for free at the beginning. Free cheese is always great though! The food and drinks took a while to get to the table, and the food was very simple and not all that special. I wouldn't go back for brunch.
Nice choice of delicious dishes including duck and foie gras. Amazing service. It feels like a small vacation in Europe.
We loved our brunch at duck duck goose. Will definitely be visiting again!
Amazing anniversary dinner. The service staff was so kind and attentive and thoughtful and even brought us some free champagne
The pate (as might be expected) is terrific - and all the dishes were very well done. The main dish (Branzino) was fresh as can be and rightly presented with very lightest of treatments. The service was uneven (we had to ask for the second appetizer several times). Be prepared for a very informal sometimes somewhat loud ambience (tables close together) and not easy to find close parking (there are lots within 3 blocks or so). But I have not had a bad meal here - and at their best, the cooking is really one of the best values in Baltimore. You have to pay quite a bit more for better - read "fancier."
Great food, great atmosphere, and fantastic service. Neha was amazing!
Lauren was such a great and attentive server will definitely be returning!
A great brunch experience.
We enjoy this quaintly, stylish place. The food is great and the service is even better. So far-- NO complaints.
Outstanding brunch and top notch service. The bloody marys are the best in Baltimore.
Great atmosphere. Staff seems a little rusty with high demand.
Awesome brunch!! Drinks are amazing!!
I travel all over the country and world to find bites that change my life. Most of the time, the food comes up just short in some instances, and complete disaster and disappointment in others. The cheese burger with foie gras at Duck Duck Goose changed my life, and I thank them for that. Overall the burger was perfectly cooked and fresh ground beef. I'd rate the burger alone in the tip 5 I have ever had, and the foie gras made it next level and life altering. After a few bites, my wife said "I wish you looked at me the way you are looking at that burger", and I am quite fond of my wife!
The food was amazing. The atmosphere was great.
Amazing meal, amazing service, amazing ambiance!!
Neha is our favorite waitress ever!!!
The duck confit is delicious—really delicious. I went with my daughter who is vegetarian and there were many excellent choices for her as well. The bartender made refreshing "mocktails" for us. And the service was casual, yet professional. Great restaurant, very good value.
Been here a few times. Food and service are always excellent. You have to try the duck liver patê!
Excellent food, friendly and professional service and nice look.
We were at Duck Duck Goose for Mother’d Day but it was also our first visit and we were blown away. The staff is friendly/helpful, the food amazing, and the drinks are smooth. The vibe is classy but casual and delightfully funky. We will definitely be back and highly recommend.
Dining in the basement space was not what my wife and daughter expected on Mother’s Day.
Delicious! We sat outside under heated lamps in a courtyard at the back of the restaurant, it was perfect.
We decided to celebrate 9 years of blissful, albeit eventful, marriage at DDG. The evening couldn’t have been more enjoyable. We were lead through kitchen to the back courtyard for a lovely open air meal, with heaters to keep us cozy on a cool spring evening. Service was friendly & professional. Food was delicious: my wife loves the duck confit here. We had lamb, scallops and a radicchio salad too. Flourless chocolate cake for desert. The wine was great though I’d love to see a more extensive collection. Can’t wait to go back again.
