Loved the truffle mac and duck breast!
Our server Michael was amazing! He didn’t rush us at all even though we were a super chatty group. Drinks and food were fantastic!
Overall, really pleased with the flavors, service and overall experience! For the individual dishes we ordered:
Beef tartar: really flavorful yet light. It was well balanced and not just Dijon + pickle flavor overpowering the beef.
Mushroom risotto: we were told this is a current seasonal entree. It was bursting with an earthy cheesy umami and mushroom flavor. I wanted to lick the plate.
Honey duck breast: the duck was cooked perfectly medium as we requested. We added on foie gras, which made for some memorable bites of food when paired with the duck. The lentils were maybe even tastier than the duck, with a savory floral honey sauce. Another almost licked plate.
Bread pudding: I’ve only had bread puddings that tasted at worst of wet-socks and at best, forgettable. But I am now a bread pudding believer and evangelist. As such I must recommend you do not leave this restaurant without ordering this bread pudding if you have not tried it before. Our table inhaled it. The texture is softer and tender, the sweetness is rich but not cloying, and the caramel is super dark with that toasty butterscotch bitterness. I licked the plate.
Phenomenal staff and meal. A pleasure to patronize.
Excellent food, great service. Very good atmosphere for a business discussion.
Excellent as always. No food was a miss. Great accommodating staff.
The avocado and crab toast was to die for! Yummy bloody Mary’s!
Our server Michael was fab! Delicious food and cocktails. Great spot and nice outdoor dining
Food was great. Not an organized wait staff. Had three dishes brought to our table that we didn't order. Wife had soup delivered with no spoon. Duck was served on cold plate, so dish quickly cooled. No change of cutlery even after intensely flavored pate course. Was without water several times. Casual service would be fine if this was a casually priced restaurant. Not sure I'd go back.
Amazing staff - very considerate, respectful and attentive ( especially Michael)
Only issue was $7 for bread service seems a little steep. Would rather you just increased price of entrees by a few dollars and just included bread. Otherwise gives impression of Nickel and diming your patrons.
The food was unbeatable! Great service as well. We will continue coming back.
I reserved a table for my friend’s birthday. The manager and server acknowledged the occasion right off the bat. We dined outside which was a nice vibe. Oysters were some of the best I’ve had—duck was a bit overcooked but overall the food was delicious and service fantastic!
During a time where the restaurant industry is trying to come back, and several lackluster experiences with both service and food, Duck Duck Goose stands out. The service and food were lovely and wonderfully delicious. If Duck Duck Goose is struggling at all, it was not apparent at all. Such a fantastic dinner and experience, cannot wait to return.
Duck Duck Goose in Historic Fell’s Point offers the finest French Cuisine in the region.
We try to order something different for each outing. This method works well as the restaurant offers weekend Brunch, Luncheon daily and Dinner service through out the week.
The food and service are outstanding, presentation, quality of the plate elements and overall no fault to be found at all.
The atmosphere inside and outside is French Bistro, not pretentious at all; very impressive. All of the elements of the restaurant speak fine dining.
No matter how busy the bistro appears; the staff is efficient and effective; while being personable.
Service is exceptional.
Yes, we have favorite restaurants in various cities... Duck Duck Goose in Baltimore will be my first choice when planning a Fell’s Point visit.
First time dining at DDG and I can honestly say I will be back sooner than later. The food was amazing, the service was excellent, and I couldn’t be happier.
Simply wonderful experience!! My girlfriend's and I loved the privacy of the outdoor courtyard and the food was delicious!!
This is such a fantastic find! We had a wonderful brunch on the back courtyard. Such a charming spot. Beautiful drinks, great champagne, great food and wonderful, very friendly service. Highly recommend!
The food was amazing. The service was fantastic. And the ambiance felt like I was in Europe. Now one of my favorites in Baltimore.
Always enjoy my trips to DDG! The fresh croissants, DDG Burger, and the croissant bread pudding are to die for!
One of the best meals I’ve had in Baltimore…Michael…the person who took care of us…was MAGNIFICENT…Treat yourself…you’ll be glad you did!
Delicious! Lovely service. Such a beautiful place
Excellent food with very good service. Great wine recommendations. Loved the courtyard.
After a bit of a delay in receiving our beverages, our meal and service were fantastic. The Crispy Rock Fish was the best I have ever had. The steak tartare, also, the most delicious I’ve ever eaten. This was my third visit to DDG and I look forward to returning.
We had a great time at Duck Duck Goose. Everything we ordered was DIVINE! Will definitely come back when we’re in Baltimore again.
Great small place with amaaaaazing food
They had the best gnocchi I have ever had in my life, and I am extremely excited to go back again for other special occassions.
Great food and service!
A great dinner with 5 of us first time since covid. Absolutely wonderful food and experience!
Nice spot with good food. Service was attentive, A good vibe overall.
I’ll start with the good. The beet salad was beautiful and it was excellent. Now on to other issues. The duck confit was good but not great. The snails lacked flavor. And the lobster, which the waiter said was a whole lobster, was not. It was a lobster tail. The meet was removed, then lobster was cooked, put back in the shell, and then covered by flavored bread crumbs. The problem was the lobster itself was overwhelmed by a bread topping, making the lobster basically nothing more than a conduit for breadcrumbs. In other words, the lobster itself was tasteless. I was disappointed because the restaurant did not live up to the reviews I had read prior to making my reservation. I expect more from a restaurant that is close to $100 per person. It’s not on my list of restaurants to return to.
Wonderful Ambiance, decor, service and food! Being Foodies, we can't say that the food blew us away, but it was very good, very fresh and lovely presentation. We would definitely go back and recommend it:)
I took my friend there for her birthday. The food was fantastic, the outside seating was great and service was top notch. I’m looking forward to eating there again!
It was our anniversary dinner. The food was out of this world and the ambience was outstanding. Felt like we were having dinner at a fine restaurant in Paris.
Cute atmosphere, excellent food, friendly service. Our server was new, so there was some room for improvement but she was cheerful and attentive. The cocktails were delicious.
Service was terrible. Food was average. Drinks were weak and watered down.
Food was excellent. Service was not good.
Would return for food, but pacing was so bad on our order we had to send our plates back to the kitchen. This was handled well by the manager but wait staff needs more training.
The food was delicious and everyone was extremely attentive. I especially want to thank Faith who took excellent care of us.
We went to DDG for our anniversary dinner when it was recommended by a friend. The staff was great. And the food was phenomenal! The Beet Salad is not only tasty but a beautiful display making it even more appetizing. Oysters were fresh with 3 different sauces. We liked the house vinegar-based one the best. I got the Crispy Rock Fish, which was tender and delicious with the sauce that accompanied it. And, of course, my husband got the Duck Confit with Fois Gras, which was amazing. We highly recommend the Truffle Mac & Cheese as a side item. And for the finale, the Croissant Bread Pudding w/Salted Caramel Ice Cream is to DIE for!
Lovely atmosphere, gorgeous ambience ,great food and service!
Amazing food. Great to casually impress.
