They were extremely busy so we had a bit of a wait, HOWEVER, the staff could not have been lovelier and were so anxious to put things right that we actually had a fantastic evening. Food was delicious and the vibe at Duck Duck Goose is so welcoming.
Overly crowded and loud, almost to the point where my wife and I were yelling at each other. Way overpriced for what you get. We ate one appetizer had a drink and left.
Great service. The most amazing burger. They even gave me a bday card and a fancy sparkler.
The service was amazing! So friendly and intuitive.
Phenomenal food, presentation, attention to detail with an added touch for our special occasion. We will not hesitate to return. And we highly highly recommend this venue to others.
Food was delicious. The meal was well paced and the surprise presentation for my boyfriend’s birthday was lovely. We will definitely be back.
Truly superb. Sophisticated food in a casual setting. A real surprise for Fells Point.
I loved everything about my time at Duck Duck Goose and cannot wait to return.
The location is perfect Fells Point and the interior of the restaurant was clean and contemporary. The service was so slow they offered complimentary wine refill. The food selection seemed limited and a bit pricey for the quality.
Everything that we ordered: steak tartare, mezzalunas, squid ink pasta special, and tournedos were perfect. Our server was polite, knowledgable, and attentive. We will definitely be coming back !!!
Great all around french fare
We had a great evening! The restaurant is comfortable. Both rustic and elegant at the same time. Service was casual but on point and the food was amazing.
I have gone to DDG several time since it opened. The food, which has always been good has become more consistently excellent. The filet was perfect and the lamb shank excellent. Service which was the weakness has improved (they have always been nice, just scrambled) and great intimate space. Corkage is appreciated.
Overall, my husband and I loved this restaurant. They have an unusual menu and items you don’t see often unless the restaurant is very high end. My only complaints were that the foi gras was in a very small portion and a bit overwhelmed by the pear. The bone marrow, which on it’s own with a bit of toast would be fine, but there was a beef concoction and a jam that they suggested adding to it, for a savory, sweet, savory combination. I would have preferred more bone marrow and less of the other items. Our service was excellent, and we will be back.
Disappointing! After reading the reviews, thought this might be a great place for a Saturday afternoon lunch. Nope. Limited to brunch menu which was, frankly, uninspiring. Had a "French Omlette" that tasted of nothing but egg.... barely any cheese in it at all. The coffee, well, it tasted like it came out of a Kurieg (spelling?) machine. Taste-less! Service was mediocre as well - waiter was more interested in fixing unlevel tables than serving us.
Our server Kenya was lovely and very knowledgeable about the menu. Also super cute outfit. The food was all delicious which is rare for us picky eaters! Will definitely be coming back.
Outstanding French in the heart of Fells Point. Try the "Golden Goose" cocktail its worth the price. Food and service were the best I have experienced in Baltimore in the past 5 years.
This is a tough one. A lot of positives, but DDG could be great. DDG has the vibe of a European bistro. Improved menu over the last year, and excellent service. It is a small place with a lot of movement and the wait staff acts more like a team than individual waiters, which really helps and adds to the vibe. I think the menu is very good, I had the duck which was excellent. However, that’s all there was on the plate was duck. 2 large pieces of duck, a large portion but no much else. It came with a beet glaze but few beets. A true bistro offers a not overly large protein portion, and a well prepared starch and vegetable. This did not. We started with the mussels which ere also great and my wife’s entree was a similar experience. I would go back but there needs to be a little attention to the offering
This was one of the best dinners I have had in Baltimore. I cannot say enough about the superior food and service. The appetizers were unique and tasty, and the main courses superb. We have been here about four times, and this visit showed that they have greatly improved over time, though we always returned. I would name this a top restaurant and among my favorites in Baltimore.
Wonderful experience in terms of both food and service. Braised lamb shank literally fell off the bone and the brown reduction was packed with flavor. Chairs were VERY uncomfortable!
I have enjoyed Duck Duck Goose 4 times now and every time food, drinks, service, ambience and vibe have been outstanding, enjoyable, and special. This may well be the best restaurant for food and drinks at the very least, in Fells Point if not all of Baltimore!
One of the best brunches I’ve ever had. I loved the attention to detail. Parking is tricky but that’s true anywhere in Fells Point.
We had a fantastic date with Johnny as our server. We will definitely be coming back. He made the experience very special.
I have colleagues that had a great time dining @ Duck Duck Goose. I wish I could say the same.
Everything is absolutely amazing here!!!
We celebrated my daughters 23 birthday, and the entire staff made sure she had an exceptional experience. The food is delicious, the adult beverages are equally delicious, and the environment is a perfect match to the service.
We had a great time! Foods are great! We all enjoyed the awesome brunch!
We visited for our anniversary and had pretty high expectations. The food was good, wine was fantastic, however the service left much to be desired. We sat for twenty minutes before having our drink order taken, food was actually cold once we finally received, and then handed a bill before we even requested same. Honestly, we felt as though we were glossed over the entire visit.
Had a great birthday dinner. We had Duck and Scallops both grand. French Onion Soup was excellent. Napoleon for dessert huge and delicious ! We were outside , a beautiful night, as close to a French Bistro as Fells Point allows. We were seated inside to begin with but seemed like Air Conditioning was not working. All and great choice.
Overall it was good. The service was slow but may have been because we were outside. Food was good. I was surprise that the DDG Burger they did not have. Drinks were excellent.
Food was really a treat...particularly the chicken and waffles. Our server was so friendly and great service.
Would give five stars without the few flies in the back corner of the dining room...kitchen is open and did not see any flying around there but did need to move tables.
Located in the heart of the Fell's Point entertainment district. Unique recipes are tasty and attractive. Waiter was excellent and the kitchen served our meals in a very well-timed manner. Apps and drinks almost immediately. Mains when needed. Allow time for parking.
The staff and service was amazing! Food was delicious.
Amazing food and service!
Delicious. Fun. Bistro-like vibe. Impeccable service. Knowledgeable server who gave us great recommendations. Ready already to go again!
I rated the noise moderately high, but as a customer service they turned the sound system off so my friend and I could enjoy a catchup visit without competing with the music. That deserves a star for the customer service, but the rating on noise is reflective of what others might actually experience for background.
Thanks to the host for that help.
I had high expectations given that the owner is a celebrity chef. I was disappointed. The food was, well, meh. The beef tartare was spicy, but unsophisticated. The seared foie gras was good, but it was overwhelmed by the amount of pear it was served on. And the 24 hour bone in ribeye was flavorful, but over cooked. The price was for a 4/5 star meal, but the quality and service were basically 3 star. The location is great - right in the middle of the excitement of Fells Point, so they’ve got a great opportunity. I think they should refresh the menu to compete with the high end eateries the city offers or lower their prices and be a more moderately priced restaurant.
The food was excellent. I would recommend some fans since it was so hot outside, the A/C had a hard time keeping up but other then that it was outstanding.
Wonderful. Nice variety. Beautiful presentations
The food was really outstanding!
My wife and I were interested in going to DD Goose for quite some time now. Service was not the best. Just very slow to get our drinks and give us the details about the menu. We ordered a charcuterie and a pasta appetizer which were both very lovely. The main course struggled with flavor and over cooked fish. I ordered the halibut and my wife ordered the scallops. The halibut was over cooked and very very dry. Zero flavor in the whole dish. My wife’s scallops were ok but nothing that would make us order them again. Overall, I was a little sad hey DD Goose didn’t wow us!
