Great experience!
Use to be one of my top 5’s however due to their limited kitchen, there are very little things on the menu. Dined at 8:45 because it was the only availability and they were sold out 5 out of 15 menu items. Prettt disappointed.
We have been there since Covid and the menu wasn’t even this cut down. Would highly recommend waiting till “summer” when their menu comes back.
Limited menu right now was a bit disappointed by that but understand due to covid restrictions.
Amazing food and service. This is my favorite restaurant in Chicago!
Amazing food. Amazing service. Following all safety protocols. We love this place!
Too limited of a menu
Great food!
The food was excellent! As someone who lived in China for nearly a decade, I'm pretty picky about my Chinese food. Overall, the food exceeded my expectations. The Hong Shao Rou was as spot on as you can get (minus the "pancakes" and pickled vegetables, both of which my husband and I decided we liked as it cuts the fat). Only downer was the Mapo Dofu, which was waaaaaay too underseasoned with the "ma." We ended up using a ton more peppercorn which was kindly brought from the kitchen and, once added, was spot-on as well. Our server was very kind and helpful, but seemed really overwhelmed. Overall, the meal was fantastic and I would come back soon!
It’s always a great experience! They took great safety precautions which made us feel very comfortable, and the food was amazing.
Amazing food, service, everything was a great experience!
Amazing gluten free and dairy free options!
The smoke from the food was way too much. Our whole wardrobe smelled like food and we kept sneezing and eyes burned . Will not come back to dine in. Need a new ventilation system.
Food was delicious!
our server david could not have been better! he was so nice and made the experience wonderful by giving great reccomendations, fast service, and perfect descriptions of each course. every staff member that we interacted with was so lovely and made the evening fun! the food and ambience were also great, we loved the chicken and everything was coursed out perfectly! this is my new favorite spot from the goat group!
All the food is delicious. I love the special cocktails!
Experience here was awesome across the board as always!
I love this restaurant! Even if it is your first time there, they make you feel like an old friend. The incredible food is just the beginning. The employees are so friendly and the ambiance is so cool. I wish I could eat here every day!
It was my boyfriend’s birthday and the first date we have had since COVID happened. The protocols in place were great and the food was amazing!
Amazing food and ambience!
The drinks, food and drinks were perfect! We started with dim sum- bao buns and crab rangoon, followed by veggie fried rice and beef and broccoli entrees. The food lives up to the hype. The drinks were delicious and the didn’t skimp on the alcohol. Overall a wonderful night out. Definitely recommend!
Serving staff anticipated our needs. Everything was delicious and I had the best night.
The food here is very overrated. We liked the spicy goat slap noodles. I’d get the short rib pot sticker appetizer and the beef and broccoli again but the duck fried rice was overrated. Great ambiance and service though.
For our first meal back indoors, we felt very safe and enjoyed our meal here! Tables were very safely placed, our surver was wonderful, and our food was timely, warm and delicious.
It was great for COVID times but I had more expectations after hearing people raving about this place. Expensive good but not worth it.
Dined outside when it was about 30 degrees and they had enough heaters that it was not too bad. Service and food were great.
Food is phenomenal!!! Highly recommend Jiaozi, goat slapped noodles and chongqing chicken - already craving them
Great service, nicely heated for winter even outside the greenhouse or igloos. Warm clothing recommended for outside
Food and service was awesome
Great food - I recommend the Beef and Broccoli!
I came with a friend and we sat outside. We each had 2 drinks (me red wine, my friend cocktails), and shared the pot stickers, beef slap noodles, chongqing chicken and a side of green beans. For dessert we shared the soft serve ice cream (vanilla and mango). I thought everything tasted pretty good. I was not expecting the chicken to come out as small deep fried nuggets. The best part of the meal was dessert. Delicious. Our bill came out to over $150 which I thought was quite high for this kind of casual meal. I'm not so sure I would be back. There are better Izard restaurants where you get more bang for your buck.
Amazing time, they did not have any white wine for my wife. Only disappointing part of the evening. Peking Duck is a must!!
Outdoor Covid experience was great! Tables weren’t too close, servers were kind, and food was delicious as always!
The food was amazing, it was a fun, safe atmosphere eating outside, heaters going!
Great ambiance. Good food.
A bit pricey. We ordered the Peking duck and I’m sure it was prepared very well. But we couldn’t finish it. Not my favorite.
Sweet and friendly staff. The green beans and fried rice were both amazing. The slap noodles were too sweet for my liking.
Fabulous as always. The food was so delicious, all precautions were taken, can’t say enough positive things about Duck Duck Goat. Favorite restaurant in the city
Food was incredible and I loved it all. The drinks were so-so but I am not a big drinker in the first place. right now with Covid, it's not too busy and a great option for a mid-week night out to dinner!
The food comes out really late. Service wasnt that great and food way too salty
Yes. Make sure to get the Potstickers. The host and staff were great and even comped a drink that was late. They dealt well with a loud patron as well who tried to bribe their way inside. The Butterscotch drink was great and kept me warm. You can never go wrong with Stephanie Izard.
Celebrated my daughter's 30th bday here, and everything was great. Very Covid aware, even taking temps upon entering, and tables spaced far apart. Great service and wonderful food and tasty drinks. We'll definitely return.
The JIAOZI & HONGSHAO ROU are fantastic. Service was good too.
