The food was good, the only thing is they didn’t have any duck. When you go to a restaurant called Duck Duck Goat, you’re obviously expecting to eat duck. I think if they’re going to offer late-night reservations, they should make sure they prepare enough food so there’s enough for everyone.

Everything was great! Our teens loved it too. Dan Dan Slap Noodles were the highlight. Prob would have skipped the scallion pancake, that was the only thing that we weren’t raving about, just wasn’t what I wanted it to be—was more like a quesadilla in texture. The egg on the duck fried rice was so good we ordered a second one because all wanted another bite!

We had a reservation and were seated immediately, but that was the only smooth part of this visit. We had incorrect food brought to our table…TWICE, meant for other tables, and very long waits in between dish drop off. Because it is a family style setting, we set the expectation with our server that we would order more food once we started receiving some, but she was nowhere to be found the majority of our meal. We never got to order more food, and we sat with our dishes stacked on our table waiting for her to reappear to ask for the check. We left extremely frustrated and annoyed that we wasted our last meal in town here, and we left unfulfilled. Not worth the money.

Short rib and bone marrow dumplings were bland. Duck and goat soup dumplings had barely any of either within and was lacking flavor punch. Pork belly and bacon/shrimp mooshu entrees were fine. Szechuan chicken was heavy on fry and light on chicken. Vodka melon cocktail was just okay. White lotus cocktail didn’t really work with espresso liqueur and rum.

Our second time here for Dim Sum Brunch. If you aren’t afraid of spice, get the Chilly Chili noodles. Potstickers and steamed buns are also great. Love the Dim Sum idea so you can try several things.

We had an incredible first experience at Duck Duck Goat! From the moment we walked in, the vibe was lively and welcoming. As first-timers, we weren’t sure what to order, but our waiter was absolutely phenomenal…friendly, attentive, and super knowledgeable. He walked us through the menu and gave us spot-on recommendations that made the whole experience even better. Every dish he suggested was packed with flavor and beautifully presented. His energy and enthusiasm made us feel right at home. Duck Duck Goat delivered on all fronts…food, service, and atmosphere. We’ll definitely be back!
