Peking Duck - 75
served with mandarin pancakes, assorted pickles and garnishes, limited availability!
Dan Dan Noodles - 17
noodles with peanut & pork
Sat us by the door. Freezing all night
Pekan chicken: virtually no chicken. We were convinced that they mistakenly gave us cauliflower instead because we couldn’t find chicken in the breading. The rest of the food was just okay. Had better bao buns and noodles from take out places at less than half the cost.
The decor/ambiance and service was great though.
Wonderful meal and impeccable service; however, VERY crowded.
Super friendly, super delicious! Definitely recommend the place for a casual dinner!
Both food and service were outstanding the ambiance is great but we found it a little noisy. We ate veg spring rolls, scallion pancakes, moo shu and duck fried rice all excellent.
We had a very good cocktail as well (night owl).
In brief one of the best Chinese restaurants we have experienced!
Great food and ambience. Best Chinese I’ve ever had.
Food and drinks were not as spectacular as expected. A good average experience.
The experience was wonderful and food delicious. I loved that the ambiance was very relaxed and cozy, especially after coming in from the cold.
Highly recommend! Everything we got was delicious. On the pricier side but definitely worth it. They even brought out a dessert (unasked) for our friend's birthday!
All around 10/10 meal. Every dish was amazing, cocktails were delicious. My favorite dining in Chicago.
This place is delicious every time and son fun every time. I would recommend the Jaiozi and Goat Slap Noodles!
It was wonderful!! Loved the ambiance, service and the food was just outstanding!! Would highly recommend to someone wanting to try something new and delicious!
I have lived in Chicago for 15 years, and I cannot believe it has taken us this long to get here! Duck Duck Goat is fun, has great service and the food was amazing. Cannot wait to get back!
Food was way to salty. Our waitress was rude. We didn’t complain about anything she just seemed like she couldn’t be bothered . Didn’t expect the food to taste like pure salt
Duck Duck Goat offers great value and wonderful atmosphere. The hot & sour soup was the best I have ever had. I very much enjoyed the decor as well. Each room has a neat theme keeping my eyes filled with wonder. All of the senses are pleased. Thank you!
amazing food and service as always! Dan Dan noodles are a must!
Nye was great. I can’t say enough about the staff! The staff on nye was amazing
I can’t say enough
NYE DINNER. Great food and set up just very crowded. Would have like a bit more variety for non pork eaters
We came here for the NYE prix fixe dinner. The plates came out way too quickly - it felt like the restaurant was trying to turn tables rather than focusing on the dining experience. Everyone around us, including ourselves, asked the servers to slow down the pace, but no one really was accommodated. The food was good, but this element made it hard to enjoy everything. The server didn't stop to explain the dishes - they were just thrown on the table by a runner. Dessert (chocolate bao) was an absolute afterthought and didn't taste as good as everything else. Overall, good marks on the food, but the experience was bad.
We loved our service and the food
Because we were in a side room the noise level was fine. I think the main seating sections would have been too loud for us. The service and food were outstanding.
Mark was a terrific server and the view we had of the hard work going on in the kitchen made us more appreciative of the noodles and dim sum! Nice time!
Great service and great food.
We had a great meal at Duck Duck Goat with family for a pre-Christmas celebration because we will be out of town for the rest of the year. If you’re like us and look for food “experiences”, I highly suggest the Peking Duck. Everything was exceptional, including the cocktails, potstickers, hot and sour soup, green beans, and duck and goat spring rolls.
Bo took fantastic care of us and truly made this an experience. Thank you so much for an excellent experience, we will be back!
The food was delicious particularly the pot stickers and the Brazino; however, most dishes were overly salty such as the tasty green beans with cashews. Creative drinks were served. Speaking of service, our waiter couldn’t have been more accommodating!!
Wishing the tables were not so close together. You are so close to the people next to you that it is hard to focus on your own conversation and experience. Everything else was absolutely outstanding!!
Food was very salty.
Great food and drinks. Waiter was wonderful - recommended just the right amount of food for our party
The food was incredible! So so so fun and delicious
The food and service was amazing! I can’t rave enough about the dishes we got! We will definitely be coming back!
The food is really bad…
Amazing Asian. The duck fried rice is perhaps the best fried rice I have ever eaten. Service was outstanding. Very quick, courses spaced perfectly and attentive. Incredible good value for Chicago dining. If you want a step up from your typical Asian go to DDG is a no brainer. You can thank me later!
In the age of Covid, having tables so close to one another that the waiters bump you with their butts when serving adjoining tables isn't only inconsiderate, it's dangerous. And when the hostess rudely tells you that you're not allowed to move to an adjacent table with a little more space because....well my wife and I are still trying to figure out her explanation, the message is clear that this isn't the place for me. That being said, the food is still great.
Awesome food and vibe!! You must go!
What a fantastic dinner! Everything was delicious.
Excellent service, excellent food that was brought out spaced out. Highly recommend
Sensory overload in the best way. Loved this experience.
Always have a great time! The food and the service were great!
