Everything was outstanding except for our table. We were seated at the first table right by the door. Every time the door opened we were blasted by cold air. We asked to be moved but was told the other tables were taken even though we saw those tables remain open for the 2+ hours we were in the restaurant.
Apps were 4/5 - nothing super special about the dimsum. But the entrees (especially the goat noodles) were 5/5, absolutely amazing.
Ambiance and service was immaculate.
Everything was great as far as food and drinks however expect to be sitting very closely to the next table over. We were hoping for a night romantic date night but it was difficult to have romance when you’re nearly elbows close to the person next to you. I’d recommend for large groups though
Food was so so. Drinks were great. Service was rushed.
Just an awesome dinner!
My husband and I took our family to Duck Duck Goat to celebrate my son and daughter-in-law’s birthdays. My daughter is vegan and my daughter in law is gluten free and has a nut allergy. Our waiter was fabulous. Jonathan brought out a vegan and a gluten-free menu. He was very knowledgeable and made some great suggestions. The food and cocktails were perfect. We had the duck, glass noodles and many other dishes. Everyone had a great evening thanks to Jonathan and the staff at Duck Duck Goat.
Food was amazing, ambiance is great, love the music.
Loved everything from start to finish about our meal. Every dish was a perfect portion and a perfect tasty bite. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Chicago’s west loop. The pork belly was to die for. I wish I could have tried everything.
Had an amazing first experience at Duck Duck Goat last night. The food was delicious, our server was delightful and super accommodating for our 8pp table, and the ambiance was lovely. I used to live in Singapore and it reminded me of my time there. Will definitely return!
A wonderful environment, fantastic service and top-notch food!
So awesome! Food was unreal! The server gave me good suggestions on drinks.
Everything was amazing — food, service, drinks! The one frustrating thing was being sat at a two top right next to a table full of young kids lounging with their iPads at full blast and climbing all around while their parents sat at a different table. I know that isn’t the restaurant’s fault, but maybe a gentle reminder to parents to sit with their kids, or a general rule against kids watching loud YouTube? 😬
Of her three restaurants we’ve been to, this one is the least interesting. Unlike her other restaurants the dishes aren’t layered in the same manner, although good they are not great. Honestly the staff was the most disappointing part, not friendly or helpful with the menu, at times acting annoyed to even take an order, and that only reinforced that we paid for nothing special. Disappointed because we love Girl and the Goat and Little Goat.
Every selection we had, and we had a lot, was fantastic. Great flavors, not too spicy. Homemade noodles were amazing. Definitely get the duck fried rice. And a cocktail!
Place is fantastic and unique decoration. food is amazing and unique blend of exotic flavor.
Food was okay. I feel it could have been more flavorful. The chongqing chicken was lacked flavor. Fried rice and chicken lacked flavor.
we had an amazing experience. Food and service were top notch
Overall pleasant experience dining here
Highly recommend duck and goat soup dumplings, ribs.
Good ambience, good food but nothing spectacular
The food was excellent and the service was exceptional! So happy we chose to celebrate my wife’s birthday here! Thanks for a memorable evening.
Best Asian food I’ve ever had. Goat noodles and dim sum were outstanding.
OMG! So tasty. We had the scallion pancakes, crab rangoon, soup dumplings, and beef slap noodles. All delicious.
I don’t usually write this kinda stuff but I feel I should this time as I was very disappointed with my dining here yesterday. Came here with my sister and my dad to celebrate my dad’s recovery after a major accident. The food was VERY disappointing. Extremely greasy and felt bland. The chicken pieces also seem a little burnt. Besides that the drinks were SUCH a disappointment. Definitely didn’t feel worth a $16 drink. No styling whatsoever too. We were given a table near the back bar and the server would hardly show up. The experience was very sad.
We had a phenomenal server who was extremely personable and helped us decide between some dishes on the menu. The food was great, and I can't wait to come back to try something new!
In the past I have experienced over salted food. That was not the case this time and I was pleased. The Peking Duck was 2.5/5 stars. Not served in traditional way and overall it was lukewarm and skin soggy.
Everything was excellent will definitely be back soon!
Amazing appetizers and meals, staff was very helpful in choosing dishes. Wonderful atmosphere. 100% recommend.
The menu was diverse, everything we ordered was absolutely delicious, the service was fast and so friendly. Food was served family style. Great cocktails too!
We loved everything we tried: Bao, Dandan noodles, beef slap noodles, chili chilly noodles, green beans. Fabulous all around.
Incredible experience where every dish was a masterpiece on its own. I highly recommend the Hongshou Rou and the Jiaozi as must try items when you come. The balance of flavors in every dish makes the experience worth it! The mango cloud for dessert was incredible as well!
Our experience at Duck Duck Goat was wonderful. We were promptly seated for our reservation once we arrived, and our server followed up with an explanation of the menu, and specials.
We decided on a few different dim sum dishes, and a main and rice to share.
The service as ready concept is refreshing and it kept us diving into new dishes once they were brought to us.
The Xiao Long Bao were a wonderful experience for us and our server's explanation of proper technique was greatly appreciated as it allowed us to enjoy quickly.
The duck hearts were a bit of a stretch for us, and maybe one we wont try again. Preparation was great, but it was a texture issue.
The Beef Slap noodles were a delicious fatty bomb, and a definite order again.
Overall, we were very happy with our experience, and have already made plans to bring friends back the next time we come.
Perfect experience for a work dinner with a bunch of people from out of town. Spectacular food and great service.
Really fantastic place! I’m so grateful to have such a wonderful restaurant in my back yard.
Fantastic food! Overall, we had a great experience. While our assigned server was pleasant and accommodating, there appeared to be poor communication amongst staff. We were initially brought a couple plates that we didn’t order, and when we attempted to tell that staff member, she was dismissive of us and quite rude saying “well someone did.” That said, we ate what was brought (it was delicious) and they comped us the order. The server also told us that we could add an extra dumpling to an order of 5 (we had 6 people), but the order only came out with the 5 pieces. Neither of these situations were a huge deal, but when you’re paying $50+ a person, you expect the service to match it.
Very salty too much sauce in everything
Quality of food was not good
we were a bit chilly outside because one of the heat lamps wasn’t working but service was excellent and the food was wonderful. we’ll be coming back.
Great service, atmosphere and excellent food. A great place and a must if you haven't been!
Food was just ok.
Service , ambience and price are good.
