   Food and service was excellent. We looked forward to this reservation and were not disappointed. My only criticism is that it was loud and we had to really speak up in order to hear each other.

   We were underwhelmed with 2/3 of our dishes. The noise level required us to raise our voices across the table. If we return we will definitely request outside seating

   I am still dreaming about our dinner at Duck Duck Goat. We were visiting Chicago for a few days and I took my son who is a chef in Colorado. As a vegetarian, there were a decent number of options (at most restaurants there are 1 or 2) which I appreciated greatly. My son and I shared the scallion pancakes and mushroom potstickers. The mushroom slaw that came with the pancakes was incredible and totally elevated the pancakes. The potstickers were flavorful, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside with a savory sauce. I had the glass noodles as my entree. They were incredible! The texture, addition of smoky carmelized pineapple bits with mushrooms, asparagus and snow peas brought it all together. My son had the pork belly with pancakes and pickled onions, cucumbers and peppers. He said it was perfect in every way. If we are in Chicago again, we will definitely be back!

   We came for my three year old's bday -- his choice for his bday dinner. Our server was wonderful in every way -- offered alternate menu options for a toddler (we did not need because this kid turns his nose up at buttered noodles but glad to know they are there in case we needed), brought a special took to help with the chop sticks (the three year old was committed and pushed the fork to the other side of the table), and just made sure we had everything we needed including a nice bday song and soft serve ice cream to end the meal. We had the Jiaozi, Dan Dan Slap Noodles, Fiery Shrimp, HongShao Rou, and Green Beans -- the food never disappoints. And, yes, the three year old ate it all and with chopsticks thanks to our fantastic server. Thanks, Team Duck Duck Goat for an outstanding third bday experience. Looking forward to visiting your patio/outdoor tables this summer.

   First time in Chicago and looked up fancy restaurants and the name Duck Duck Goat came up. I was instantly in love with the name and liked what I saw in the menu. Needles to say it was way beyond amazing food and service. We had The Lady in the Redress(a drink with egg whites!) it was a unique drink and tastes fabulous. Then of course we had to try a lot of food because where else can you get duck hearts and dumplings in bone broth.

   Went for our Anniversary brunch. Bloody Mary & Lemongrass cocktails were fabulous. Potstickers were one of our favorites and also loved the soup dumplings. The chili noodles were chilled, salty and bright with crisp pickled cucumbers. The mango & tamaro vanilla ice cream swirl was the perfect finish. Adorable interior! We will return next time in town!     We had a wonderful experience. When I made the reservation a few weeks ago, I mentioned we had a vegetarian and another person celebrating a birthday. I also asked for a round lazy Susan table (makes it easy for a group of 6 or 7) if possible. We got the table, many choices for a vegetarian, a lovely shareable dessert (mango gelato/vanilla ice cream that was like a fabulous mango creamsicle. We used the valet at Beatrix. (Used to be in front of DDG years ago.) All the food was extraordinary. Some drinks were very good and some had to be sent back.
