   Our waiter was amazing but the dish he suggested came out cold twice and the second time it tasted funny so we barely ate anything. Cute place. Gotta get that good coming out of the kitchen hot!

   Booked in for brunch at the last minute. Good cocktails and I think the early menu had fewer options than dinner but our choices: bao, soup dumplings and duck/ goat spring rolls were excellent. Ma po tofu a different take than I’ve had elsewhere was rich and meaty. Very good. Atmosphere fun. Also our server was great.

   The food was alright, though quite bland. The service was slightly brusque and not very informative. Honestly, I’d rather just go to Chinatown and experience the real thing.

   We had a great dinner here. The table before us was running late but the host was very up front with us and we left to have a drink until the table was ready. The food is delicious and the service was outstanding. It is a very loud restaurant but has a great vibe. The soft shell crab special was amazing.

   Food and service was excellent. We looked forward to this reservation and were not disappointed. My only criticism is that it was loud and we had to really speak up in order to hear each other.

   We were underwhelmed with 2/3 of our dishes. The noise level required us to raise our voices across the table. If we return we will definitely request outside seating

   I am still dreaming about our dinner at Duck Duck Goat. We were visiting Chicago for a few days and I took my son who is a chef in Colorado. As a vegetarian, there were a decent number of options (at most restaurants there are 1 or 2) which I appreciated greatly. My son and I shared the scallion pancakes and mushroom potstickers. The mushroom slaw that came with the pancakes was incredible and totally elevated the pancakes. The potstickers were flavorful, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside with a savory sauce. I had the glass noodles as my entree. They were incredible! The texture, addition of smoky carmelized pineapple bits with mushrooms, asparagus and snow peas brought it all together. My son had the pork belly with pancakes and pickled onions, cucumbers and peppers. He said it was perfect in every way. If we are in Chicago again, we will definitely be back!

   We loved our time at Duck Duck Goat, from the welcome at the door, to the table service all staff were super friendly and accommodating (something we haven’t always seen whilst eating/drinking in the area). The staff moved our table when we were originally on a high table by the door. The server explained items on the menu and gave recommendations based on what we were ordering! We loved the soup dumpling, bone marrow gyoza and glass noodles the most, will definitely go back on our next trip- our favourite restaurant of our visit!

    We came for my three year old's bday -- his choice for his bday dinner. Our server was wonderful in every way -- offered alternate menu options for a toddler (we did not need because this kid turns his nose up at buttered noodles but glad to know they are there in case we needed), brought a special took to help with the chop sticks (the three year old was committed and pushed the fork to the other side of the table), and just made sure we had everything we needed including a nice bday song and soft serve ice cream to end the meal. We had the Jiaozi, Dan Dan Slap Noodles, Fiery Shrimp, HongShao Rou, and Green Beans -- the food never disappoints. And, yes, the three year old ate it all and with chopsticks thanks to our fantastic server. Thanks, Team Duck Duck Goat for an outstanding third bday experience. Looking forward to visiting your patio/outdoor tables this summer.
