Jane, our server, was phenomenal. Food was amazing as always. #GoatFam
I have been sever times before and keep coming back because I crave the food. This past time we went for my mom’s birthday. The wait staff was so attentive and knowledgeable. The food here is consistently outstanding!
Glad I tried it, but I would probably not go back. I love dim sum. I knew better than to expect traditional styled dim sum at this type of restaurant, and I was very open to an inventive, "fusion" sort of twist on the traditional. It certainly delivered in that respect, but the taste was just so-so in my opinion. Many of the inventive ingredients just did not work for me. Maybe they work better for others but not me. The kitschy Chinese décor is kind of fun, even if way over the top. The service was good.
Been here 3 times and never been disappointed. Food is amazing. A bit crowded at times even if I come at 9:30pm. Food more than makes up for the noise and crowd.
This was a pretty amazing experience overall. Would go back.
First time to Duck Duck Goat & probably not our last. Server was able to answer our menu questions & make much needed recommendations. We were 2 people and ordered 5 plates that were all good & 2 were excellent in taste. Loved the experience.
Hostess was disrespectful. Been here 4 times, the food the other times was much better than this time. Hopefully it was just an "off" night
We love Duck Duck Goat. We have been here for dim sum on the weekends and were delighted with the great food at dinner. Looking forward to coming back.
Incredible service, the best food, and a fabulous time overall.
Food was amazing. Everything literally melted in my mouth. Especially Peking duck, beef and bone marrow pot stickers and seafood fried rice. Highly recommended!
Amazing food and service. Will definitely be going back to try the dishes we didn't get to this time!
I made a reservation 2/16 Sunday 8pm two weeks in advance, but I got seated at 8:20pm. Also, it seemed as if the waiters wanted us to leave asap.
We had a party of 8. Six of us were there for over 20 minutes because they wouldn't seat until our whole party was there. We finally asked to be seated. Our table was ready the entire time we were there. We could've easily each had a drink or more in the time we waited. But were told we had to wait.
It was worth the money.
Such an enjoyable restaurant. This place just makes me happy all the time. On the search for non-alcoholic cocktails, they have two that are outstanding. Honestly, never missed the spirits in them. One somewhat savory the other sweet, both pair perfectly with the food. The dumplings were the perfect layered flavors, subtle and fantastic. Grilled oysters were gorgeous with just the right sauce to let the oyster shine. Service is always great here - exactly the right timing for the meal to flow. I love the energy in this place. Arrived early and sat at the bar for 20 minutes. Not once did I want to look at my phone. The atmosphere is just that wonderful.
The restaurant is really nice but the food was honestly meh. Way overpriced for what it was. Food didn’t have a lot of flavor and the fried rice was extremely oily. Dumplings were okay, I would not come back.
Really great dining experience! We may have ordered too much, but every dish was unique and delicious in their own way. Can’t wait to come back!
Dinner was delicious! Great recommendations from our waiter—just enough for leftovers the next day.
Great food And a cool ambience, but the reservation system was very poor. We arrived for our reservation and were told to stand (awkwardly)around the bar with about 15 other people who are waiting as well. After about 15 minutes, they tried to seat us and then realized they didn’t have a table ready yet so we waited another ten minutes. Finally, 25 minutes after our reservation start time, we were seated and had a good but pricey meal. I’d recommend the place for groups or couples
The server was quite knowledgeable of the menu. Food was fantastic and everything came out quickly. Did not have to wait a long time for our food.
Delicious food in a well designed, interesting setting with excellent service.
Friendly and fast service. The food selection was great and was well worth the price.
Loved it! Food was fantastic and unique
Everything was great.
DD Goat was a great experience. The crowd was lively, the servers were on point in SI fashion. and the food was killer! I will be back soon.
A friend recommended this spot as one of the spots she would go to if she only had one night in town. So glad I asked - it was incredible!! 10/10 will recommend to anyone who ever asks!
Incredible restaurant. The food was tasty, the service was unmatched, our courses were timed perfectly, and the ambiance was cozy but upbeat.
Amazing. We did the Chicago Restaurant week menu and it was a great deal. Would definitely go back anytime!
After moving to Chicago nearly a year ago, Duck Duck Goat was at the top of my list to go to. So waiting a year and seeing all the amazing review my exceptions were very high.... And i wasn't disappoint.
The Service was amazing, they are extremely knowledgeable of the menu and made great recommendations and knew what each dish was in detail. The interior of the restaurant is beautiful, not over the top fancy or too rustic. You feel comfortable in a suit or jeans and a t-shirt.
The food was out of this world, i would highly recommend the Duck Hearts. Crazy good char-grill taste on them and delicious sauce. I would also suggest the soup dumpling, so good!
Very good waiter
Did nothing for birthday celebration and the entire group was very disappointed by this. Not only did I mark it as a birthday reservation but I reminded the front desk upon arrival as well.
Almond tofu is the best!!!!!!!!! Love you almond tofu:)
Food was great, service was wonderful. Served family-style. Drinks are pricey but delicious.
The food was amazing as always, and our server - Katie - was phenomenal. She was super attentive without being overbearing, she made great suggestions, and she took special care of some allergy & food restrictions in our party.
I lived in China for a few years and these dishes brought me right back to my favorite meals. There was a perfect balance of authenticity and culinary flair. I'll be dreaming about the grilled shishitos and the Xi'an Goat Slap Noodles.
We went for Restaurant Week brunch. We loved that we were able to try so many options, and each course was better than the next. Great value for outstanding food. And the cocktails were delicious.
The food was incredible, tried 8 different dishes with a group of 4 for brunch and every single one of them was great. Highly recommend the beef slap noodles and the crunchy wings. A little bit on the pricier side but worth what you're paying for.
Best Dim Sum! The wait staff is wonderful and friendly
