Join us at Duck Duck Goat for our Ducky Ducky Derby Dim Sum Brunch in support of the Special Olympics! Enjoy a family style menu progressing from dim sum to dishes, with dim sum offerings being presented table-side! This experience is $65 per person, with a portion of proceeds donated to the Special Olympics! Tax and gratuity are an additional charge, and cocktails, wine and beer will be available a la carte. Guests will also be able to adopt ducks onsite for the Special Olympics Chicago Ducky Derby raffle at Columbus Drive Bridge Thursday, August 7th, 2025. We will be able to accommodate some allergies and/or dietary restrictions, please email info@duckduckgoatchicago.com for more information. Young children are welcomed and will have a separate a la carte menu available for purchase. Please note there is a 48-hour cancellation policy.

We had the brunch menu and service was attentive and fast. The soup dumplings were OK - not a lot of filling but tasty - hard to eat though. The crab Rangoon had no crab flavor, just tasted like cream cheese but good crust. The wings were amazing - good char and spice to them. The scallion pancakes were nice and crispy but there was no scallion flavor to them which is what we expected to taste. We also had the mapo doufu which needs a better explanation on the menu. The waiter told us it was a stew, but it’s more like a chili. The menu listed it as “tofu - pork or mushroom” so we read it as we could choose one of the three, which was not right, it came with tofu and either pork or mushroom. We chose pork so we’re surprised when it showed up with tofu but was willing to give it a try. However, the big problem was that the pork was not cubes (like you would expect in a stew), but ground pork so it ate more like a chili with tofu. It also had huge chunks of dried peppers which looked like pieces of sausage, and we were not told the spice level, so we weren’t sure what to do with them. Overall, we did not like it. They need to clarify on the menu that it always comes with tofu and that the pork is ground. Anyway, I would go back for the wings but would have to try other dishes.

This was our first visit, and we were expecting it to be good, knowing the experiences we've had at other "Goat" restaurants. Our expectations were utterly shattered. This was without a doubt one of the best meals I have ever had. Diners absolutely MUST have the Scallion Pancakes and Fiery Shrimp. The Peking Duck was amazing as well. But for me, the star of the night was the dish simply called "Green Beans." Holy cow these changed my life! Service was excellent, the atmosphere was fun and casual, and everyone there seemed to be having a great time! I see many return trips in our future...
