Great ambience, live music. Fun setting. Food was fair but overpriced. Both my wife and I have been ill overnight and today after dinner. The only shared food was starters. Service was ok but not enough restaurant staff.

We ordered the pork belly, oysters for appetizer: AMAZING!! For our mains we the roasted cabbage ( is an appetizer, but I had as my main) with miso butter and the grilled fish. We almost passed on dessert but we’re glad we ordered the cheese cake and the lemon merengue. All so good!! Service was impeccable. Make reservations because this place is a must!!

Enjoyed a selection of small plates, and was more than happy with the options. All dishes were quite flavourful and dealt in a timely manner. Service was impeccable 👌 would recommend when stopping by Edinburgh.

Overall good but they did not get the entrees right. That said, they quickly remedied the mistake. Very good food and cool venue. Recommend getting table away from bar. Too noisy.

I visited Duck & Waffle in London some time ago, and it’s been a great surprise to find out that one existed in Edinburgh too. The food is great, the location nice and the staff kind and helping.
