Dubh, the meaning for Black in Irish is nestled on the corner of one of newbridges oldest streets, facing out onto the old market square, the Building has been a pub, venue, Grocery store and everything in-between throught the years, But in 2021 Ubh, once a small little cafe across the road moved in, Creating a trilogy of services, from casual lunch, Seasonal Dinner & Organic wine to a Creative & exciting Space for drinks, music & events.
Our beautiful kitchen gang are putting together some seasonal dishes using our local producers & farmers.
Our wines are all bio & natural and chosen by the team monthly.
Our bar has a wide variety of beers, liquors and creamy pints.

Food is fabulous here. Tasty, fresh and beautifully presented. Gorgeous seating and tables not too close together. Chose to eat in Saturday night in favour of breakfast out here as it’s the loveliest spot for food in Newbridge! My fifth visit but not the last.

A party of 3 for birthday lunch - food was fabulous. Each of us ordered something different and all were so delicious. So impressed. Portions are huge so couldn't finish. Lovely welcoming and comfortable surrounding and just the lovely noise of people chattering among friends and family in the background. Staff so warm and attentive. We will be back - French toast is unreal !!

We had a very enjoyable meal in Dubh. The staff were friendly and attentive, there was a nice buzzy ambience and the food was fantastic and beautifully presented. We would highly recommend Dubh and we will definitely return very soon.

We went with high expectations from other reviews but left disappointed and probably won't go back. The food was only ok, quite bland and ordinary. I ordered a side of hash with my breakfast and I got a few baby potatoes which was disappointing.

Lovely place and atmosphere but food was average. A bit expensive too for the size of the portion and quality. Got the Avo Eggs and the crispy bacon was completely overdone and really hard which cost €3 extra so expected more. Was not much taste too to the overall dish. Coffee and service was good.
