Dry Dock Waterfront Grill
steamed mushrooms, broccoli & onions
one lump crab cake
one 5-6 oz. Maine lobster tail
Every time we visit we have to eat at The Dry Dock. We Love the food and the atmosphere. Wait staff is always friendly. Only thing this last time the lobster bisque and clam chowder were not very good otherwise everything else we had was delicious!
Outside dining on water. Delicious as always, with great service. Will be back ASAP
Fabulous food and the best service the view is also fabulous
It was a very nice evening.. great food, great service, great atmosphere ... we will definitely be back!
Definitely a worth while experience. Wait times for a table can be long, but the food and atmosphere of the restaurant are completely worth it. I would recommend setting reservations early.
It was our first time there. Beautiful and the food was delicious!
The best of the best . The food perfect . The service perfect
Great as always!!
Celebrated my wife’s big birthday here. It was Labor Day Saturday so it was crowded. We had a reservation for 6:30c but weren’t seated until 7. We talked to a family without a reservation and they had already waited an hour and a half and were told “maybe another 45 minutes.” They left. Maybe COVID has limited their table placement. Food was okay. Nothing spectacular. Wouldn’t go back.
Always enjoy this restarting. Great food and service.
Promptly seated. Server very cordial. Did not rush our party of 6. Food very good and island priced. Must stop when in the area!
Love Dry Dock! Wonderful dining experience -highly recommend!
Beautiful views, great food and outstanding service!
Service was impeccable! The food is always delicious as well as the drinks! I suggest the grouper and the lobster bisque.
It is always wonderful 😋
Great food and wonderful ambience . The coconut shrimp and lobster bites as an appetizer were delicious , as far as main course the seafood linguini and citrus Grouper were our favorite. Overall very happy with this restaurant, will definitely return.
Wonderful as always!
came strongly recommended and it did not disappoint--second best sarasota restaurant i have experienced
One of our favorite places...consistently good food and service, and a terrific location on the Bay.
Great always dependable on quality & service
Today was my Mom Birthday, I’m select this restaurant because was very special for her, customer services was excellent, great service, food was very good and very nice quality control, special in seafood, thank you for everything.
Good job of spacing tables inside. Fast service and great food! I will definitely return. Great view also...good in any weather!
Very good seafood and view of Sarasota Bay.
Recommend the fish & chips and mussels
Enjoyed sitting by the water. The food and service were fabulous.
I’ve visited Dry Dock many times and it always exceeds expectations. The quality of the food is impeccable and service is always fantastic. Our server, Dan, was very enjoyable as well as the rest of the staff as they hurried to get everyone under cover when it started to drizzle. Hope to be going back very soon. My favorite restaurant on longboat key hands-down!
We ere here celebrating our 50th Anniversary and decided on eating at this restaurant. We had the lobster bisque which was delicious along with the coconut shrimp. I had the lobster, shrimp and scallop linguine with tomato basil sauce. We were given a piece of Key lime pie in celebration and it was yummy. We would highly recommend eating here.
It was excellent service was great the view and vibes were nice my second time going this month and I’m definitely coming again.
Place is great. Food, view, service are A1
We LOVED our meal. It was my boyfriends birthday and he loved the meal, view, and atmosphere.
This was our first time at the Dry Dock Grill and everything was fabulous. The decor is almost like a boating and fishing museum which my husband and children loved. Both the food and the views are amazing! They did a great job with spacing the tables according to new CDC guidelines. I was glad we found a great restaurant a little bit off the path from all of the people crowding at St.Armands Circle. We enjoyed the best calamari ever; the lobster bisque was delicious and my husband had a Maine lobster tail which was sweet and tender! They brought him a huge piece of Key Lime pie for his birthday.
We visit LBK often, Dry Dock is one of those places that is a great stop for lunch or dinner. Food and Service is great, beautiful view. Stayed seven days eat a dinner and a lunch there last week. Would suggest anyone in the area to give this restaurant a try. We will be back.
Excellent food and service. Best jumbo fried shrimp in Longboat. The Sea Bass is excellent. Beautiful view in dining room. A favorite spot for sure.
This was our first time and we loved it. We will definitely be going again. The food was very good, especially the Seafood Chowder. The value is not bad and the service was good but a bit slow at times. This is a good value and worth a revisit.
Absolutely delicious food and adorable place! Want to go back!.
Awesome service and delicious food.
Make sure you have bug repellant for after dark. Nice views of Sarasota Bay..
Incredible view, and the food was all outstanding. Service was a 10/10 as well.
The view from patio was amazing! The food was good and waitress efficient. Be prepared for mosquito bites from the moment you sit down!
This was our one date night while on vacation with family on Anna Maria. It had great reviews and we were really looking forward to a nice seafood dinner. Unfortunately from beginning to end we were disappointed. First, we had requested a table by the water when we made our reservation, and would have been willing to wait for one. Instead, they tried to seat us next to their outdoor bussing station/garbage. We managed to get moved to another table but still not next to the water. Next came the bugs. They are so bad that the servers hand out bottles of 40% DEET spray to all the tables. Really annoying to be dressed up for a nice night out and having to douse yourself in bug spray.
On to the food. We ordered a “Prince Edward Island mussels” appetizer. I use quotation marks because they were NOT PEI mussels, they were way too big to be. They were also dry, spongy, and mealy. We both spit them out and sent them back. The server apologized and removed them from the bill, but a quick visit from management would have been appropriate and appreciated. Feeling hesitant to go all out with seafood for meals after the mussels, I chose fish and chips and the husband chose grouper tacos. The fish and chips were fine, you can’t really mess that up. My husband described the tacos as full of a lot of fish but lacking any flavor. We decided to skip dessert.
Service was friendly but very slow. Drinks were a mix- my Moscow Mike was very short on ginger beer but my husband really enjoyed his Manhattan.
Overall I just can’t recommend Dry Dock. This was a really disappointing experience.
