Dry Creek Grill Ratings and Reviews
Wait staff seemed overworked. Server would come and then not be seen for a LONG time. Apps arrived before our cocktails which we thought odd. Alcohol has the highest margins and you want to get your guests lubricated to buy more. We had one drink b/c it took about 35 mins to get our first. When I used the restroom, I looked a the bar to see if they were slammed. They were not.
I went to Dry Creek with my husband and daughter. My daughter's fish special was cooked well and she enjoyed it. However, my husband's chicken wings and my pulled pork were so overdone. As I said to management a year ago, if you're going to be a meat house then you better be cooking up some delicious meat. Pulled pork is one of the easiest dishes to prepare and yet it was soooooo dry!
We had a fun evening with great food, good drinks, and fine wine. Our server was extremely busy but was attentive. Only two things that could have been improved: our drinks took @ 30 minutes and the music level was not conducive to trying to converse with friends. It was fine when we were first seated but 30 minutes later it was pretty uncomfortable. We were in a dining area not near the bar. I am sure we'll go back but maybe ask for a seating area that might be a bit quieter.
Wonderful birthday night. I brought my manager to treat her and reward for a great year. The night was perfect. David our server was excellent and several staff told her happy birthday. She felt very special and well taken care of. I was super happy and impressed with service, food, and special touches. She is going to bring her husband for his birthday this weekend
Great service! The scallops were excellent but risotto was cold. Crab cake appetizer was the highlight! Husband had the Rib eye special which he thoroughly enjoyed, but my allergy to MSG influenced the otherwise delicious taste. Also enjoyed the potato au gratin. Service was perfect. Wine selection notable. Will be back!
My husband and I went to DCG to celebrarte our 14th wedding anniversary. It was our first time there and we had a Great experience. The specials of the day, from which we chose the Dry Aged 14 oz. NY steak, was excellent. As well the Day Boat sea Scallops were delicious. Our server, Brandon, was very knowledgeable of the menu, nice and super thoughtful. He gave us a complimentary dessert that celebrate our occasion. Will definitely go back and recommend to friends &’family.
Drinks were small for the price. Food was so so. I'd rather get what I like rather than a fancy plate with less food and not that tasty. Too noisy... disappointed to say the least. Would not recommend it. Over priced for the amount you get on everything. A real disappointment.
Love DCG... However, we had a reservation for 5pm, all of the party arrived by 5:15. Checked in, sat at bar, around 5:10 hostess came over and asked if we wanted to be seated in advance of the remainder of the party arriving. We said we preferred to hold at the bar. The hostess then told us we had to be done by 8 because they had another party for the table.
Went here with a couple of friends for dinner. We ordered salmon, sea bass, Caesar salad and for appetizers we had deviled eggs and one of the ladies had a salad. Everything was fabulous except the deviled eggs. They just weren’t my fave but everything else was wonderful. Will definitely return.
Good food, lousy service seems to be the norm here. We waited almost 20 minutes from the time we sat down, until we decided it was enough and motioned over the manager to take our drink order. He realized how bad it was and comped us the drinks, so he did his best. Things went better after that. But this place is always hit or miss on service. The food however is normally very good so we go back from time to time.
The waitress was awesome. We checked in 15 minutes early and I guess they forgot to mark our arrival and we received an email from open table within an hour stating of our absense. Anyway, overall it was a great spot. The thing I thought was kind of pricey was cork fee, 20 dollars was a little steep. I was expecting 10 -15 dollars.
We made a reservation for my family for Christmas Eve. I spoke to them two times, once when I made the reservation and once when they confirmed the day before our reservation. Neither time did they tell me they had a limited “fixed price” menu and we would not be able order off the regular menu. The food was good and there were multiple selections for each course but it would have been nice to know in advance. It most likely would have affected our decision to dine there on Christmas Eve. In my opinion it was also overpriced, especially the kids meal ($26 for buttered noodles, salad and ice cream). I have been to this restaurant several times and have enjoyed the service and food. I won’t go back on Christmas Eve though.
