Great food and great service. Wonderful to be able to go out and Celebrate again!
Just because we sat outside
Dry Creek has done the best to make it a great experience
Should give a five star
The beef stroganoff was EXCELLENT, the salmon entree was also very good. Attentive wait staff. The only recommendation is that they improve their dessert menu. We had the lemon tart. It was the only thing disappointing about our evening.
Great outdoor dining experience. My first one in a year. Friends and I loved food and service
We ate at Dry Creek Grill a few weeks ago and had the amazing salmon dish. It was fabulous then. We came back two days ago to have the same dish. The fish was fishy and didn’t taste as good as the last time. The server was lovely and the ambiance ok, but we a bit disappointed in the quality of the food this time. Perhaps it was just an off night.
The service was lackadaisical and the food was just so so; the sea bass was not quite cooked as was the zucchini was too crisp; plus a ton of oil/fat in the bottom of the dish was a bit off putting; wine choices were were not that spectacular for the prices; At least a La Crema or Rombauer in Chardonnay category would have been expected; we will not be back; it was disappointing
The serice was great and the food delicious. Will go back as soon as we can
This is the last time I’ll ever go to Dry Creek Grill. It took over an hour for my table to receive our food. The waiter ignored us the whole time we were there and the bussers were the only ones checking in on us. The food tasted cheap and not good at all. I have came here a dozen times pre-covid and loved my experiences, I guess a lot has changed other than masks.
Did not like the fact about being charged 2 corkage fees total $50. Plus were there for a birthday and could have put a candle as a nice touch in a little something.
Had an early dinner indoors and felt very comfortable - good distancing between tables. Cocktails were fine. Jim salad was bland. Risotto and brisket entrées were both good. Service was slow, and our waiter seemed disinterested.
We’ve been to this restaurant multiple times before, and this wasn’t our best dining experience. We will probably go back in a while and just have a cocktail and appetizer to see how things are going.
Celebrated our wedding anniversary.
We are so glad to be back!
The food was incredible. I ordered the Steak Frites and my wife opted for short ribs. Both were cooked to our preference (medium rare). Our server (erich) made the evening special. We’ll be back.
Excellent meal, great service. It was great to be back.
Love this place. Service is always great. Glad they are surviving and the food was good.
Lovely Easter dinner. The service and food were outstanding. Thanks, we will be back.
My wife and I had a great experience here for her birthday. Drinks were good and food is good.
The bacon cheeseburger was AMAZING!! It was so flavorful, excellent fries and really filling! The service was great! The veggie risotto was well cooked, but it only had a few pieces of the winter veggies - it really needed more veggies. It was pretty bland.
Sorry to say but the DCG has gone way down in quality and experience. We used to love to dine there. The last few times we've gone we have noticed that the food quality isn't as good as it used to be. Service is okay, they hired a new guy who was a floater who was excellent, had it not been for him, our experience would have been awful. With all the dining on the patio, there should be a manager/maitre d' out there to make sure service is going well. It honestly took forever to get a server to come over to our table, over 15 minutes which is not ok in my book. Then our dinner took forever to arrive. I don't know that we will be back, unfortunately.
We sat at the bar inside and had a fantastic experience with Jaime, the bartender. He was really friendly and attentive. We were at DCG to celebrate a birthday and were really looking forward to it after more than a year since our last visit. The menu isn't as robust as it once was but I'm sure that will improve over time.
We've been going to DCG regularly over the years and have always enjoyed it; the ambience, the staff, and the food. Probably because of being closed for so long to in-house patrons and just recently re-opening, our experience fell way short of previous visits.
We started with a couple of cocktails and the Korean chicken wings. Loved both and were excited about ordering dinner. I ordered the veggie risotto and my friend ordered the ribeye, medium rare. The ribeye has always been one of our favorite meals and we've never been disappointed until this visit. When it arrived, we were surprised at how thin it was; probably no more than half an inch. Previous orders of this dish contained ribeyes that were on the order of 1" thick. They were juicy and able to be cooked perfectly as medium rare or rare. This steak arrived well-done, somewhat tough, and not very tasty. We returned it (the staff was very gracious and understanding) but the second attempt was only slightly better. It is nearly impossible to cook a steak that thin to a medium rare temperature will maintaining taste and texture.
The manager that night told us that they had indeed switched to smaller portions of the ribeyes. We felt that didni't represent the DCG standards we were used to. We felt that steak dish we received was way overpriced at $33. And, honestly, my veggie risotto was just so-so.
Wrapping this up, we were disappointed in our visit and might not be so anxious to return soon. We'll monitor reviews to see if improvement is seen. We also miss the vibrancy.
Can't lavish enough praise on Jaime, though. He's a great employee and representative for DCG!
Very Tasty and great service ! Very nice place!
It was a lovely dining experience in every way. The food was fantastic!!
Great restaurant. It was my first time there and will definitely be back.
They don't have green chili soup every night, BUMMER! Manager helped get the Firecrackers right! Thank you! We'll be back for sure.
We had girls dinner out. The corn bread is a must. Really good crab cakes. The risotto is a must have!
The food is good, and the service is even better.
The only down side is that it is a little loud, but maybe we are just getting old.
I had originally booked an outside table and upon arrival decided that perhaps in doors would be better. Unfortunately there wasn’t a table available for sometime to come. So my date and I settled in at our table outside and about 15 minutes later the Fabulous young greeter came out and offered us a table inside. Made the date. I really appreciate this level of customer service. It’s why I like to Dry Creek Grill so much
The worst experience I have had there and j have been going to dry creek for years.
Waiter Eric was awesome! So nice to be back indoors!
It was so nice to be able to eat indoors and have the great food and service we were used to. Thanks Dry Creek Grill for a wonderful Friday night out.
Delicious food and atmosphere to enjoy with friends. Love the Bar!!
So happy to b able to get back to Dry Creek Grill. Food was amazing as always - Crab Cakes and spare Ribs - and our server was fantastic.
Great food and service, and we were able to eat inside!
Loved the food and the service, would like to have the ability to reserve inside or outside dinning, I know that it is hard to do with all the restrictions
Excellent restaurant. Food is delicious and theatmnosphere is everything you could ask for. Try to get a booth more intimate.
This is one of our favorite restaurants, so we were taken back on the food we were served. They normally have the best dishes to choose from and I know because of COVID the menus are cut back. The dishes just didn’t match up to expectations so I hope it was a lack of a short kitchen staff or something like that. We will give it another try.
Food was fantastic! We brought the kids and they couldn’t put their ribs down! We will definitely be coming back :)
Not the same pre Covid-19. Drinks were just ok, food uninspired.
We all know how difficult things are these days, but thought I could get a great steak from a place that touts their meat quality. The ONLY steak on their inadequate menu was an 8 ounce ribeye. My mistake to order this 1/2 inch piece of mostly fat! Server was very slow, but very pleasant. Asked for a heater, but did not receive one. We’ve been here several times while visiting the San Jose area. I will not come back.
