Excellent experience. We took our son that has fatal food allergies and we rarely dine out, but were in town for a youth soccer tournament. The staff was exceptional and met our needs along with constant checking in to make sure we were happy with everything. We greatly appreciated the service and attention to detail for our son. It made for a very nice evening!
Service was not good. Food wasn’t bad but a little over priced. The service makes this a big thumbs down!
Food is always good at Drunken Fish. Service was pretty good. Our waiter seemed to be a bit overworked. I wonder if they were short on wait staff that night.
We went for my birthday and not was great. We both got chicken Donburi. Our fav. The salad and soup is just perfect. Chelsea was funny and knew her stuff. The people out front need to be taught to check in Open Table guests
The food is a rip-off. That 15 ounce steak was no 15 ounces at all. The prices go up and the portions get smaller. It was noisy, dark and gloomy. The desert was a big scam. Two bites and it was all gone.
We arrived for dinner during happy hour and were told they only honor the happy hour specials if you're sitting at the bar. We left.
We went to celebrate our anniversary. Everything was good but there wasn’t anything outstanding on our visit.
Our server was excellent, helping us with the menu. His suggestions were wonderful. The food was fresh and delicious. I would recommend this restaurant to all my friends. The atmosphere was upbeat. Making a reservation was easy. Everything was great.
Great experience. Sushi is very good! Lots of choices!
We had another couple join us after we were seated for our reservation and the server made it happen with a smile.
Sushi was good! I feel they could have offerings with scallops in their rolls or white tuna. They all seem very similar, but the fish was fresh and tasted good. The spicy tuna mix had a great amount of heat.
I did not like the house salad, I thought the ginger dressing was flat and had no flavor.
However, I did enjoy myself and will go back.
Seemed like a junky reastraunt table wobbled bad. Wasn’t worth the money for how uncomfortable the dinning was.
even if you don't like sushi you have to try the strawberry cheesecake dessert sushi
This visit was a birthday lunch that had to be special and relatively quick. Service was attentive and the lunch crowd was professionally serviced. There was no wait and the food and drink orders were accurate, creative and perfectly executed. There is a full bar that I have seen very busy at evening and a simple but innovative menu of Asian fusion items and traditional sushi. Also, a notable miso soup. I will definitely return for dinner.
Took 30 minutes to receive the check 🙎🏻♀️ food was great though!
We typically LOVE DF. We did not have reservations when we went Saturday, which typically is not a problem (there were PLENTY of empty tables). We had a 45 minute wait, about 10 minutes into our wait, we decided to use open table to see which would get us seated sooner. It was frustrating to see so many empty tables and people standing around waiting. When our Open Table reservation opened up, the waiter informed us that he would check for availability, then told us he was ready to seat us either way because there was an opening. The rest of the night went smoothly.
The staff, food and drinks were all excellent. The bartender made good drinks It was a touch pricey but well worth every bite The fried calamari was Panko breaded which made it even better My server Nina checked on us constantly and the manager even came to introduce himself and a very busy Saturday night
It was awesome! Great service.
Good service
Food was bad
Good food but service was okay. At those prices I would expect better service. had to ask server to clear plates so we had room for the desert.
Sushi rolls were good. Service lacked somewhat. Waiter never came back until I was almost finished and it wasn’t busy
Service was slow, but the sushi was great as usual! Not my favorite DF location, but met the needs for a central location to gather.
Went in for my Birthday dinner and wish we hadn't. Apparently they were down a sushi chef, so everyone in the restaurant was waiting about an hour to receive their food. Not only did it take forever- but the staff didn't do anything to rectify the issue. They should have taken something off of the receipt or given guests some percentage off their bill. My fiance's sushi roll was chewy and not appetizing and they had to re-make it for him...which took another 30 minutes! This place has gone way down hill.
They were not able to seat us. We waited for over an hour after checking in for our reservation. Apparently they were under staffed and couldn’t even take the reservations that were scheduled. Total. Bummer. Especially when we were trying to celebrate a birthday.
Enjoy eating here but there is room for improvement in the service and food quality areas.
The service level does not match the number of staff visible; we had to wait for our server to introduce himself. Once he took ownership of our table, he did a good job.
We had the stir fry noodles and they had a slight burnt taste, but, not enough that we wanted to risk having them remade. Everything else was good.
Reservations are definitely recommended.
It sucks that the drink menus was limited to rum drinks, saki, and beer.
Food was good but the service was unbearable as it would be 20-30 mins between table visits!
New Years Eve dinner was terrific! Sushi was delicious. We will be back soon!
This was the worse experience ever !!! I travel around the US just to try food , but this place i would never return . The bar server was so rude and rushed us and many guest to eat.
It was great
Everything was just ok. They need to make more clear that you have to sit at the bar to take advantage of happy hour specials. They should ask if you would like happy hour before they seat you. The person who seated us was our server also. She didn’t treat us very well after we asked to move to take advantage of happy hour. The bar tender did a great job. The food was ok.
The food was not good and the price was outrageous.
Douglas took great care of our family of 7!
The menu is eclectic, trying to be all things Japanese apparently. We split the sashimi supreme platter which was very good and included roe. Seaweed salad was good. Weird - we ordered the asparagus side but the waitress was embarrassed by how long it was taking. Finally, after we finished the meal the asparagus had still not arrived. We had a dessert instead, which was fine. The service was strong. Found a couple of nice wines. We were there because this is the best Westport Plaza can probably do and we were heading to the theater.
We enjoyed our meal vey much and Shawn was a great waiter. The sushi was excellent.
great sushi appetizers, and noodle bowls were great! Veggie Tempura was also very good!
Came for a birthday, had great food and drinks, good service
Been many times in the past & we don't like the changes & the sashimi & our various choices of sushi & a couple of rolls were very mediocre. You want the fish to taste extremely fresh since it's not cooked & this didn't. The presentations were not up to par either...other places really put some emphasis on this as they do in Japan! The choice of fish was really limited too...don't think we'll go back...there's lots of other better choices!
Minimal sushi selection and most of the food is just ok. Not a good date spot at all.
Happy hours great for a big meal! The servers and host are really nice and make you feel attended to.
