We were celebrating a birthday but there was no acknowledgement. The waiter was mediocre.
Food was ok but nothing was a standout. space felt cramped. Our Cocktails were below average (Cosmo and a Manhattan). I would recommend sticking to sake or beer.
Always a family favorite. Celebrated my daughters 17th Birthday. Made reservations on Open Table and was seated within five minutes. Their Teriyaki Salmon is a must to try which comes with delicious soup and salad.

Food was excellent, but their reservation system leaves a lot to be desired. We made a reservation through Open Table, which they could not find because they don't organize reservations by time--they scroll through them, or at least the staff on duty did that night. After they seated us they found the reservation. No harm since it was a slow night, but would not have been acceptable had they been heavily booked and we weren't seated because they were holding a table for us . . .
Very good food! A bit better atmosphere compared to the Ballpark village location
After living in Seattle for 30+ years and then relocating to Saint Louis, we finally find a great place for Sushi. The food and service was as good as we got in Seattle.
Made a reservation for Valentine’s Day! Everything went smoothly and we were seated right on time. Great service and great sushi rolls!
We had made reservations and were sat in a very organized fashion. Immediately upon sitting down our waiter greeted and asked us for our appetizer order. Our appetizer was brought out to us by someone other than our waiter, we still hadn’t been asked for drink orders. He seemed to had have disappeared for a while. Finally he came back, with waters. Not even asking if we wanted anything else to drink. He took our food order and then once again disappeared. The food came out in a very timely fashion but once he brought it, he disappeared yet again. We both finished our food and sat talking for a while before he appeared with the check. Once again disappearing for a good 10 minutes. Mind you, it was a reservations only evening so it was very organized and not too busy.
Overall, the food was fantastic. The service was disappointing.
Great food but very pricey
The server Bree was excellent. The food for four came out in waves. Not the servers fault as she came by frequently to fresh the water glasses and clear the plates for those who had already received their food. 2 of us were finished when the last dish came out for the 4th person. As this was a pre-show dinner for the theatre next door, I suggest you start early.
Over the years, we've had this experience several times trying to dine before a play or musical. That being said, the food was pretty good. I think the dining area is too loud (lively I guess) and would dine in the indoor patio area which is 10s of decibels quieter.
Again, the server was attentive to the table, but the sushi chef and the cooking kitchen very slow. For example, the one salad and one soup camp out quickly with the fried rice coming about maybe 40 minutes after ordering. I would not plan on food on a schedule if the place looked really busy, but I do like the location and quality of food.
Sushi is so fresh. Great menu with tons to choose from. The sushi is amazing! Drinks are perfectly made. Our waitress Kendra was awesome.
Staff were a little preoccupied but we still had decent food. Manager was polite and attentive. Salmon sashimi was particularly good.
Went for my birthday dinner with friends and family, food was awesome and the atmosphere was great. Our waiter Alex was awesome!!

The restaurant was very busy. The service wasn’t good - everything was so slow.
I actually would have enjoyed the meal more had I not witnessed one of the cooks use the restroom and leave without washing his hands. It’s simple cooking for the public 101. Kind of put a damper on the evening. Had it not been for the fact it was a date and the fact it was Saturday night and every restaurant would have been packed, I would have walked out. A talk needs to be had with the cooking staff about the importance of cleanliness. They might not think it’s a big deal, but it can make or break a business.
It was fantastic! Pero was very attentive and friendly. The food was excellent. We were all pleased with the overall experience. It was a perfect birthday celebration for my niece.
We came on a Sunday and there were two people cooking, one waiter, one dish washer and one poor manger. The restaurant was not staffed for the amount of people who came to patron. I felt so sorry for the manager, he was the host, the bar back, the food runner and the bus boy. He was trying to help the server as much as he could, but they were out numbered. People had to wait at the hostess stand longer than normal. The food is always good here so expect that people want to receive the good DF experience they always have from past visits. The waiter and the manager went above and beyond, but they were no match for the demand.
I am disabled. It was a long ways to walk to get inside. My wife and son liked their food, mine was bland and tasteless.the restaurant was understaffed and we spent a lot of time waiting. The food was quite expensive for what it was.
Seemed like staff was overwhelmed possibly due to staffing. The food was spectacular, so we will definitely be back. But maybe to a different location.
My order was wrong had to wait to have it corrected
Tried to have dinner with them this week and after getting seated we waited almost 1 hr and never got any food. Bad kitchen management and regardless of how many “I am sorry ‘s” does not not cut it.
Our waitress, Nina, was absolutely terrific. The management should clone her!!
Our server was Brie. Awesome service and awesome food. Love seeing the place packed two weekends in a row. Keep up the great work!!
We arrived on time, but the hostess told us that the restaurant was overbooked and had a wait of more then 30 minutes, even though we had a confirmed reservation with Open Table. Then it turned out that she had manually changed our reservation time, delaying it by 30 minutes on their system and putting us behind other poeple. After we complained we were finally seated, about 20 minutes later than our scheduled time. No real apology - we were made to feel like we were being pushy to request seating close to the time of our reservation. After this fiasco, the food and service was fine. Good sushi rolls.
New Year’s Eve special menu - Food was good. Drinks were sloooooow.
Very, very, very slow service. Took 30mins to get drink from bar. App’s were great, but entrees not.
New Year's Eve special 4 course menu. They were out of lobster rolls and subbed chicken, not happy about that. All the sushi rolls on the menu were tempura (fried). You did receive a choice of 2 drinks which were great. The desert choices were ok, not great. Overall, for the $55.00 per person, I found it overpriced for what you got to select. Being out of lobster roll, chicken is a cheap replacement. Should have added a better main course roll to substitute for the loss. Finally, the food came out much quicker than the drinks so there was no relaxing time. Overall, the food tasted good and I would go back on a regular occasion, but the New Years Eve special did not meet my expectation.

No fresh brewed tea. There was only Brisk from the fountain and it tasted old and stale.
Great deal so long ok out for coupons. Calamari not great but the snapper sushi was awesome!
We came to restaurant after picking up our daughter from airport. First We were seated and I asked if they had any Happy Hour specials. The manager who seated us said yes but we had to sit at the bar or bar area.
I said well We can't sit at the bar because our granddaughter was with us and you don't allow kids at the bar and there was only a table for two available. So he said he would let us use the menu at our table. The waiter then informed us we couldn't use the Groupon we laid on the table. No where on the Groupon did it say it couldn't be used for Happy Hour even in the fine print! But we were told we couldn't use it on Happy Hour items. So need less to say we have other choices for sushi and lettuce wraps and friendlier establishments.
Normally I would rate 5 stars because I dine at this location regularly. On this night the hostesses lacked. When we arrived for our reservation we were told there would be a 30 minute but we could sit at the bar if we’d like. We could see ample seating from the entry so we declined. One of the hostesses then went inside to check for available seating. She came back to confirm there was in fact no seating and a 30 minute wait. We informed them that we had a reservation and the immediately led us to a table to dine. In the past the asked immediately if we had a reservation this time I guess the assumed not. If it had not been for this mishap the overall dining experience would have been a lot better. By the way our waitress was excellent!
I would recommend this restaurant for a light snack/appetizers and drinks, but not for a nice dinner out.
The sushi rolls were great, appetizers were good. But the entree's not as good.

Set reservation on open table and when we arrived the manager said they were not taking anymore guests for a half an hour because they were too busy. The restaurant barely had half the tables seated. Did not honor the reservation.
