Tonight was our first visit to Drumheller's and we were very impressed! The food was excellent! The lobster Mac and cheese was full of lobster and the scallop fettuccine was amazing! We'll definitely be back!
The handful of times we have dined at Drumheller's at Columbia Point have all been fantastic. It is our 'go to' place to splurge on that special dining experience in the Tri-Cities. The food, wine and service are always excellent. The view from the dining area adds the extra ambience.
Thanks so much Marshy! Your repeat visits mean a lot to us and your great comments are truly appreciated. We look forward to our next chance to welcome you!
first time at drumhellers... nice facility with great view of the marina/river... staff were wonderful - server was especially nice and good understanding of the wine industry in the region - bottle of mercers malbac indeed complimented the swordfish and vegies... thanks drumhellers… we will be back !!!
Nice ambience with waterfront view. Good food, great service from Luis.
Located on second floor of the Lodge at Columbia Point and open only a couple of years, this eatery has had ups and downs associated with original young chef (no longer there) and getting in the groove after she departed. It was clear from the menu when it was presented that things had changed - it is now a more formal entree served 'bare nekkid' plus sides menu than before with some of the more casual item options eliminated. (If you can see photos of menu a year ago and now you'll see the distinction.) We lean to being 'small plates grazers' at dinner but knew going in that was not the format here so all good for that in terms of expectations. The items we ordered for our dinners - scallops (5) on risotto with fresh peas and guanciale and swordfish (a generous size) with chimichurri and mango were both delicious. We shared dessert panna cotta - which had too much gelatin in it so thicker than perfect - but the roasted rhubarb and pistachio that topped it was splendid. That food plus two glasses of wine (one each) came to roughly $90 before tax and tip. Our server was lovely and willing to have any question we asked answered but a bit tentative so it may be she is newer to the craft, but definitely part of what we enjoyed about our dining here was her service and left nearly 30% tip to encourage her for the welcome she conveyed. We also appreciated that the space itself provides a nice outlook onto the river from almost any table and the sound level was on the quieter side so we could enjoy conversation. If there were just a few options for 'small plates grazers' on the menu we could get to the 5th star assuming the food quality continues in the current path. And FYI that the Vine Wine Bar & Cocktails downstairs - where we started our evening - has a bartender who makes great libations which are also the source for the dining room (servers go to bring up) hand also knows a lot about wine - to answer your questions and servers too.
We always have excellent food and service at Drumheller!
It was great
Maybe we should of asked for whatever dish may be their specialty. I feel like maybe we ordered the wrong things. The duck was tough/rubbery, the scallops were over cooked. The wait staff was nice but the service was very slow. So slow that they brought us complementary glasses of wine.
Beautiful view. Great food and drinks for a date night. We will definitely go again.
Dustin greeted us promptly. The drink menu was varied with good options and the wine list nice. My husband wanted a sapphire martini, however as only locally sourced liquor was available he settled for the Solar. It was not great, but drinkable. The remainder of the evening, including all food and drink was excellent.
Tables a bit to close to not hear what your neighbor was talking about! everything else was amazing!
It was a wonderful atmosphere, nice romantic dinner, excellent service, our waiter was very knowledgeable about the wines and the meals we ordered. We were seated near a window overlooking the river, you couldn’t have asked for more. The night was wonderful
We are delighted you enjoyed a wonderful evening with us, thanks so much for your great comments! Hope to welcome you back soon, thanks again.
I had baked halibut which was inedible -- dry and over cooked. This dish was a bust!
However, my wife had braised short rib that was outstanding and very tasty.
OpenTable denied us our requested time, ostensibly because the restaurant was busy. We had to re-select a time. The place probably seats 50 +/- ; there were only two other couples there.
OT failed, once again. DON'T USE OPENTABLE!
Everything was good to great except our waitress. She had no idea what was in the dishes let alone what was even on the menu. She didn't ask if we wanted another drink after our first drink was gone. She did not try and up sale or any suggestions.
Everything was great
One of the best dining experiences we have had. The food was beyond amazing. We will definitely be back. I would recommend this restaurant to everyone.
Thank you Cindy! We're thrilled you enjoyed your dinner with us and really appreciate your wonderful recommendation. Thanks for being our guest, we hope to welcome you again!
Soup was very good. Salad ok, a bit heavy on the greens. Steak was excellent. Crab on the lobster was a little heavy on the garlic. Desserts very good. Tables were nicely placed. Overall, nice experience.
Thanks for the great comments! We're delighted you enjoyed our Valentine's menu and really appreciate your notes, we hope you'll be back for another visit soon!
Nice restaurant, but it is a bit hard to find in the Lodge. GPS too us there, but it took almost 10 minutes to locate the restaurant. Better signage both outside and inside for directions would be nice. There are also no rest rooms on the floor where the restaurant is located. However, the food and service are excellent, and it is a much more intimate and quiet dining experience than the neighboring Anthony's.
Thank you so much for letting us know about this! We're delighted you enjoyed your meal, but we're disappointed we didn't welcome you and provide directions when you arrived. We'll discuss your comments with our team, thanks again for making us aware. We're glad you enjoyed your visit overall--thank you for being our guest, we hope you'll be back again soon!
Great experience quiet great view!
We have never been disappointed in Drumheller's - either the wait staff or the food. This trip we introduced our friends to the venue - and we are sure they, also will become regulars.
Excellent service! The food was outstanding! The drinks... DELICIOUS!
Great to hear you enjoyed your visit! Thanks so much for your charming review, we're delighted with your compliments and hope you'll be back again soon!
This was our first time eating at Drumhellers. We had heard good things about it. The food was outstanding, both from a quality and from the size of the portions. There is definitely value for the money spent. While it was quiet at first, the noise level increased markedly as the restaurant filled up. We definitely recommend Drumhellers.
The food was AMAZING! Dessert was also SO VERY GOOD! My Short ribs and my husband’s filet were on point. The service was great as well. Our server was outstanding.
Enjoyed everything about out visit. We are ready to go back.
I ordered the Halibut off the menu and paid over $30 for it. It was soaked in ham hocks and beans. It was a horrible combination. Not worth the $$ by far. The Halibut was also overcooked. I didn't say anything as it's not my nature, but I doubt I would eat there again. It was overpriced for the quality of food prepared. A $40 bottle of wine from another table was entered on my bill that I almost didn't catch. Glad I did!
Delicious food! The risotto is to die for. I’ve not had a bad meal, in all the times I’ve been at Drumheller’s. If you want a great meal, with wonderful service and a lovely view, go to Drumheller’s.
What lovely comments! Thank you so much TAP88, we really appreciate your return visits and your awesome recommendation. We look forward to our next chance to welcome you, thanks again!
Best Sirloin Steak Ever... Burger was bad for the price..McDonalds is better.
Food was not as good as the last time we eat here. The portion size was right on and the service and atmosphere were very good.
We went for the Sunday supper - four course fixed menu for $45. Salad-entree-cheese-dessert. Amazing value - we had filet steak and they were each huge! I don’t know how they offer that quality and that much for so little. Took some home for dinner next day and didn’t manage to finish dessert. We will be going again soon!
Sunday night family style dinner - WONDERFUL!!!
My first impressions was of a nice hotel restaurant. That was soon diminished by the horrible service from the wait staff. The waitress never explained anything about the menu and my wives burger was not prepared to her liking which then we had to wait for another burger and it just made for a unpleasant experience. I had the steak and it was good. The desserts were good as well. Overall though the service really was the killer and makes me not recommend this restaurant.
Thank you for letting us know about your visit, NickV, we appreciate your candor. It's great to hear our steak and desserts were good, but we're really disappointed our service fell short of expectations and we're saddened we missed the chance to recover your evening. We'll be reaching out to you directly to learn more, and sincerely hope to welcome you again for a more enjoyable visit and a chance to earn your confidence. Thanks again.
New Years - fantastic food and the New Year’s party was a lot of fun!
Our server, Nyla, was fantastic as she guided us through an incredible culinary adventure! The drinks were great but the dessert could have been better. Altogether, we will be back and will request Nyla!
We're so pleased you enjoyed your visit! Thanks for your great feedback, we'll be sure Nyla sees your comments. Please let us know if anything specific needed improvement with your dessert--we'd love to learn more. Thanks again, hope to see you back here soon!
We really enjoyed our dinner at Drumhellers. Wonderful evening view, great meal, great service. We'll be back.
It was fun!! An amazing intimate place, where the food and service are equally as amazing. Highly recommend!!
The food was amazing and service was as well. The ambiance is fantastic and we really enjoyed our evening!
We visited for Christmas dinner and the food and atmosphere were both excellent
We're so glad you joined us for Christmas dinner and delighted you enjoyed yourselves. Thank you HollyD, we hope you'll be back again soon!
Great view, great food.. feels like you are in a high class Seattle restaurant. Looking forward to going there again!
Luis was a great server, the food was the best in the Tri-Cities. Very accomodating. My complaint is the volume of music, we were in the back area by the kitchen with a speaker, great Christmas music though.
I’ve been to Drumheller’s before for dinner and really enjoyed the food and the overall experience, so much so that I was excited to go back. My ratings are just average because of my most recent visit for the afternoon tea event. It was $39 per adult for a decent amount of food and a fun story reading experience, but the food itself was not that good. I’ve been to other afternoon teas in other places, and all the breads and scones at this one were dry and dense and not worth the price. The desserts were fine and kind of cute but nothing memorable. My favorite things were the croissant and the tea. I’d probably go back for dinner but maybe not the special events.
