Drumheller's Food & Drink
Over all a very pleasant experience. Nice view, wonderful service, good food but small menu choices.

Great food. Salad was suppose to have egg, there was none. Husband's meat was suppose to be rear, mine med, both were well done. Husband said best steak he has ever had. We will definitely come back. Still loved all the food. Service was great. We someday would love to spend the night as well as try out the b a r, and definitely eat there again. Great job.
Thank you Leland, great to hear you enjoyed your visit-that you loved your meals and plan to return is the best feedback we could ask for! Please accept our apology regarding the egg and doneness of your meat, we're glad they didn't diminish your experience and look forward to providing a flawless meal next time! Thanks again.
We had the pleasure of dining on a Saturday night to celebrate our anniversary and it was outstanding! We were so impressed with the service, food, and overall beauty of the lodge and restaurant.
Not to mention, we got to sit in a PRIVATE balcony that made us have such a special evening and feel like we were on top of the world. The Focaccia bread was to die for, the appetizer was a perfect size for my husband and I and our entrees were plate licking good!
My husband ordered the Ribeye and I ordered the Half Roast Chicken and we even got some shoe string fries with Aoli to share because we couldn't help ourselves. I don't think there was anything left on those plates.....Oh and let's not forget the amazing dessert! It was creme brûlée and it was made to perfection! We are still not over how amazing everything was and cannot wait to come back! Thank you for such a wonderful experience
SofiaH, it was lovely to have you! We're delighted you enjoyed your evening with us and so appreciate your lovely comments. We look forward to our next opportunity to serve you, thank you for being our guest!
Always a pleasure to dine at Dumheller’s. Wine tasting in the lobby with Kat, and if you find a bottle that meets your liking, bring it to dinner with no corkage. Sagemoor Cab Franc/Merlot was memorable. Watch the wine cruise leave from the balcony. Garde Manger is excellent and food very good. GM Wendy has been there since the beginning. Will be back soon!
Nice view of the river, good food, good wine, good service, and quiet enough to enable comfortable conversation - what more could you want?
This dinner was really special. Great food with creative and delicious preparation and beautifully presented. Fast service and very friendly staff met our every need. We will definitely return.
The food was very good as far as the entree goes. the salads we had didn’t have enough salad dressing on them. The service was very slow although our waiter was quite pleasant. He had too many tables in his section and really needed some help. The view of the boat harbor was beautiful
Food and service was great. Bar service greatly improved. Would like to see a few appetizers and an amuse Bouche would take you over the top.
Limited food choices. Warm brownie was cold and hard. They have great views and the waiter was very attentive. Very disappointing experience after all the hype.
I wouldn’t dissuade someone from checking the place out, but we went to celebrate our anniversary and were left wishing we had gone somewhere else. The dining room was immaculate, the view was amazing, and the food was fresh and flavorful (although a bit overpriced)— but a few things rubbed us the wrong way. First, we were told upon entering that they were out of salmon, but when another couple was seated after us we overheard the hostess telling them there were actually a few portions left. Other guests were also given the option of a table on a private balcony. We were there celebrating our anniversary and that would have been a nice touch, but as it was no one acknowledged our special occasion at all. I’m not sure why the online reservation form even asks. Another thing that mildly irked me was that when we arrived there were absolutely no other customers. Yet with all the open tables, a family that came in a little while later was seated right next to us, making conversation a little bit awkward. I wouldn’t have minded any of these instances on their own, but they added up to create kind of a bad vibe. Maybe it was just us, or perhaps they were having an off night. I’d be open to giving them another try, but not any time soon.
Absolutely fantastic food and wonderful prices too. This place is a gem
Thank you for joining us ShannonK! We really appreciate your comments and hope you'll be back for another visit soon, thank you for being our guest!
We were greeted at the door by chef Pauline as well as visited at our table during dinner. Her food was amazing, to say the least, and our waitress was fantastic! We had a wonderful dining experience and can’t wait to go back. This has been the best fine dining hands down since moving here 9 years ago!
My husband and I dined here to celebrate our 2nd anniversary. The entire experience was lovely. Having not dined at Drumheller’s before, we didn’t know what to expect. Upon arriving for our reservation, we were seated at a table-for-two on its own terrace. We were immediately impressed. The remainder of the evening didn’t disappoint. I love “fancy” cocktails, so I was excited to try the lavender martini. It was perfect, and my husband liked his drinks as well. Though our waiter was training an apprentice waiter, the service was top-notch. Both waiter and apprentice were wonderful. The food was so, so, so good, with generous portions. I’m a difficult person to impress, but I was awed by such a wonderful dining experience, right here in the Tri-Cities. We felt like we were on vacation, without the travel. I highly recommend Drumheller’s. We will definitely come back!
The bar service is way too slow, that’s the only area that needs improvement
Thank you EricD! We're delighted you enjoyed your visit and really appreciate you letting us know about our pace--we'll work to improve and look forward to having you back for a flawless experience next time. Thanks again!
Wonderful tea experience with a champagne bonus! Can’t wait for the next one!
I was there for a Mother’s Day Tea. The sandwiches were the only issue where the bread was very dry. The scones were not the traditional English scones that were nice and big. These were a little flat. But otherwise everything else was amazing. The tea selection was awesome and I got to try two different teas. The background music was a harp. The harpist was amazing. I hope they get to host English High Teas more often.
We're delighted you enjoyed our Mother's Day Tea! Thank you for your lovely compliments for the service and the harpist--and for letting us know where we can improve our tea sandwiches and scones. We look forward to offering more High Teas during the holiday season--we hope you'll be back to enjoy them! Thanks again.
The view was lovely, salad was superb, bread and wine were very good. The entrees were okay. Risotto and lobster were good. Duck was unevenly cooked. Our service was very slow and nothing was done to compensate for that. The Kuwait Tart was poorly executed and difficult to eat. All in all I am not sure I will be recommending or returning . I expect more at that price.
We had a wonderful dinner, steelhead on squid ink rice was incredible, the lamb chops with cauliflower au gratin were world class. But none of that compares to the best crème brûlée I have ever had. Thank you Chef
The view of the marina and the service were excellent. We were there to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary, so I wanted it to be truly special. The salads were a bit unusual, but good. My wife had the shrimp with risotto. This is one dish they should modify. There were 6 small shrimp on a huge plate of risotto, which my wife found too rich and too much. I had the roasted duck breast. I have never before had duck that tender - delicious! We finished with creme brulee - among the best I have ever had.
Thank you for joining us and sharing such a lovely review! Great to hear what you enjoyed and where we were a little too much---we're thrilled our Crème Brûlée left an impression! Thanks again DarrellP, we look forward to our next chance to welcome you---and Happy Anniversary!
Very good wines. Nice selection of food. A good time all around.
My husband and I celebrated our 43rd wedding anniversary at Drumheller's this weekend. It was a wonderful experience! The food was excellent and the view was awesome. We had a few leftovers that my son and granddaughter enjoyed when we returned home. They thought it was delicious also. We will definitely be returning to Drumheller's, and will tell all of our friends about the wonderful atmosphere and cuisine.
We are delighted you chose us for your Anniversary, and so glad you enjoyed your visit--and that your grandchildren enjoyed your leftovers! Thanks so much MelodyR, we look forward to our next chance to host you. Happy Anniversary!
We really, REALLY wanted to like Drumheller’s, but at every step Chef Pauline and team let us down. We arrived on time, but after 30 minutes in the bar (good drinks despite the chaos) realized that the hostess had completely forgotten about us. Just seated, we asked our server to give us a minute to look over the menu. Fifteen minutes later, it was clear she’d forgotten about us. Sensing trouble, we went for simple: the rib eye and potatoes for me and the burger and fries for my companion. The steak came nicely charred but completely raw in the middle. Oddly enough, the diced and roasted potatoes were nicely browned and crisp on the outside, but crunchy raw on the inside. The burger was okay.
This is such a beautiful spot and venue, but the restaurant is complete amateur hour. Other than cleaning house and starting over, I don’t know how management could fix this mess.
We're glad you enjoyed your burger and drinks, but clearly the rest of your visit was far below our standards. An off night in one element or another is one thing, but for us to be off in every regard is really disappointing--and we're concerned we missed our chance to address it before you left. We'll be reaching out to directly to learn more and apologize personally. Thank you Terry, we look forward to speaking with you and hope to welcome you back for a better experience.
The view is the best in town. The service was exceptional . We had the Shrimp Risotto and Fresh Steelhead, both were great in presentation and taste.
The pork chop was good but the couscous was a bit undercooked. The ribeye was raw. Should have a more traditional lettuce salad like a traditional Caesar or other salad. Arugula and kale are not popular choices. Clearly the chef is getting creative which is good!
Thank you GregK! It's great to see you enjoyed your pork chop and we really hope we had a chance to address the couscous and ribeye for you--if not, please accept our apologies! We're happy to earn your recommendation and really appreciate your recognition of our creative menu. We look forward to our next chance to welcome you, for a flawless visit next time! Thanks again.
We took advantage of one of the tables with a beautiful view of the river and looked forward to enjoying the chef prepared meal. The waiter, Dustin, was so much fun and very attentive. The menu was small but interesting. Unfortunately, the shrimp was overcooked, the steelhead was overdone and dry, the steak ordered medium rare came out well done. The manager, Will, bent over backward to make things right for us.
Thank you JeanR, we really appreciate your balanced, detailed feedback, and are glad we had the chance to address the issues while you were with us. We look forward to providing a better experience and making a better impression on your next visit! Thanks again.
We celebrated our anniversary with a delicious meal and a beautiful view! I had the bone-in ribeye and my husband had the shrimp risotto. Both were outstanding! Our server was wonderful (Dustin, if I’m correct). We’ll definitely be back!
My bone-in top sirloin was cooked to perfection and topped with delicious tarragon butter. Paired with a wonderful Shining Hill blend made this a wonderful meal.
The Chicken Fried Oysters were prepared with a buttermilk fried chicken breading. The large, flavorful oysters were great dipped in the house made tartar sauce and the remoulade with a nice kick. The meal was finished with a chocolate mascarpone cheesecake. The cheesecake was the perfect chocolate delivery vehicle. The table and kitchen service was top notch.
Celebrated of 38th anniversary with the Drumheller's staff. Service was great, but the food was truly the star of the show. Local ingredients prepared and presented beautifully. And just so tasty. Chicken fried oysters were a wonderful starter. I had the steelhead which melted in your mouth. My husband had the pork chop which was moist and tender. We will be back to enjoy more creative dishes by the chef. Thank you for making our celebration a wonderful experience.
I ambled over to Drumheller's on a whim, because I heard good things about this place. It turns out that this is a gem--nice views, great staff, and very good food. I had the steelhead with lots of vegetables and a great glass of wine. Everything was fresh and carefully prepared. I will be back.
We're so glad we caught your whim! Great to hear you enjoyed your dinner and that you'll be back. Thank you, Jack!
We started off in the bar to begin our evening and the service down there was excellent. My wife forgot what particular wine she was drinking when arrived at dinner and our wait staff gladly looked it up for us and brought her another glass. The food was excellent and service was above and beyond. I would highly recommend this place and we will definitely return for dinner again
This was the best dinner my wife and I have had in the Tri-Cities and we are constantly looking for a solid place to go for dates, birthdays, anniversaries, etc. This will be our new go-to spot for sure. We were shocked we hadn't heard of this restaurant before and none of our friends had either. We will be spreading the word!
Drumhellers is a wonderful Resturant for specials occasions as well an evening out. We have made special trips from Yakima WA just to have Dinner.
The food was not good at all. I think they are more into their Wines and talking top Wine while not serving top rate food (yet charging top rate prices). We travel a LOT, and we enjoy staying in nice hotels and enjoying the nice restaurant of that Hotel. My steak was Appleby’s quality. It was 25% fat, very thin, and not good. They served unseasoned breakfast potatoes (?) with my steak which were a let down. My wife’s steak was the same. We found a long woman’s hair inside the Mac-n-Cheese, which ruined our meal. The service was amazing, and I felt bad for our waiter having to deal with his chef’s hair. The Hotel was amazing, so really a surprise to have such a letdown for their restaurant. BTW we chose this restaurant over the Anthony’s next door since we are familiar with Anthony’s and their chain. We wanted an independent restaurant instead. Sadly I would choose Anthony’s over this place, and I hate that I’m saying that.
Enjoyed our anniversary dinner with an excellent dinner and a great view
The food was perfect, flavorful, and cooked just right. The tables were close together but not uncomfortably so. We were surprised that conversations at nearby tables were not heard at ours. And it is a lovely view of the Columbia River from our table.
Thank you George C! Your comments are wonderful to read and we're delighted you enjoyed your visit. We hope to welcome you back soon, thanks again!
The room was buzzing with activity and we could still hold our own casual conversation without feeling interrupted nor that we might be interrupting our neighbors. It was comfortable and "classy-casual" or "classual." All of the staff were very friendly and helpful and we could converse frankly and had a lot of fun.
What wonderful comments--thank you so much MacThomas! Your compliments for our team are truly appreciated, and we are thrilled you had fun. One of the mantras of our late owner, Tom Drumheller, was 'it will be fun.' We try to live by that daily, and are simply delighted to see it reflected in your visit. Thanks again---hope to welcome you for another visit soon!
Wonderful dinner. Enjoyed all they have to offer. This was our 4th time to visit and enjoy our dinner, view, service, and a quiet discussion.
The food is not cheap, but its very appropriately priced for the quality, and really not that expensive. The service was excellent. The ambiance at atmosphere are very good. The view is tremendous. Next time I will try to get the outdoor seating. I needed a high end Tricities restaurant to take a high profile client to for dinner and wine, and Drumheller's was perfect for that. It would also be an ideal choice for a Romantic Dinner.
BEST CHEESECAKE OF OUR LIVES!
