The unhelpful hostess told us they were fully booked for the night. I opened up OpenTable and booked a time slot in 5 min and was immediately seated. Ugh Otherwise I like the disco vibe and the drinks were unique and tasty. Great bartender

everything about our first time coming here was a 10/10 experience. from the moment we walked into Filthy Animal, the host who walked us back was soooo sweet and nice I wish i got her name to compliment her in this review, along with our server at drop dead gorgeous was so sweet as well! the manager who brought out our caviar bumps was so enthusiastic as well, would DEFF recommend this place to anyone and everyone and will forsure return again! Thank you for the amazing hospitality:)

After reading other reviews, I was hesitant about this bar, but I still wanted to give it a shot since we were already dining at Filthy Animal (which was terrific, by the way!) Unfortunately, as other reviews have indicated, this place fell short and was a bit of a disappointment. They prefer that you order drinks from their special menu, and even then, you cannot make any adjustments to the drinks because we were told they are pre-batched. Outside of that, the interior was a lot smaller than I anticipated, and it was bright enough that it looked and felt a bit dirty inside. Overall, we ended up paying before we received our drinks and left before finishing them.

The service was awesome and the decor and ambiance was so cute! Definitely recommend sitting at a lower table as the high tops are a bit wobbly

Drop Dead Gorgeous is frustrating because it is so good and yet so far from great. The vibe, servers, bartenders, and decor were all amazing. The decor might be the best in downtown Tempe. I could have sat there enjoying the ambiance all night long. However, the drinks themselves were a huge disappointment. I got the Smokey Sour. The first two ingredients were mezcal and scotch. I kid you not, this drink tasted like a screwdriver hold the vodka. Not a hint of smoke, sour, or either of the two very distinct liquors listed. While I had my glass of juice, my partner got their take on a black manhattan, which credit due, was a very ambitious take on the drink. The unique ingredient, black sesame orgeat, completely overwhelmed this “liquor forward” drink with savory and sweet. The grey grainy suspension of black sesame and soggy rice puff garnish also gave an unappealing presentation. With some attention to the drinks this bar could be seriously excellent, but for now, I don’t believe they will get much repeat business from cocktail lovers. I am rooting for DDG though! I’d happily be back with a better drink.

Great atmosphere, friendly service, variety of craft cocktails. We did not eat here but review required a rating, based rating on small bites selection. We moved next door to Filthy Animal for dinner.
