The staff were incredibly helpful. The selection of share plates available was excellent. Strongly recommend the charcuterie board prawn dumplings and the 2010 Blanc de Blanc.
The food was beautiful on Mother’s Day. We were given some free tastings as well as free champagne and tea. I was even asked to recommend a tea so said T2 especially loose leaf earl grey but NOT the French one. My daughter said their peppermint tea is nice as well. We were outside (our choice) and it did get chilly so would choose inside next time. Anything we wanted was met with helpfulness and a cheerful response. We could not fault Dromana Estate on Mother’s Day 2021.
Crap : except the staff were very good : food was terrible : we did not eat all of main course as they were so bad :
Staff waived our bill : good on them
We have been their before and always good
Something is wrong with this place
Will try again but not for a while
5 of us thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Dromana Estate Winery. Booking process was good, even when I needed to make a last minute alteration. Setting and garden was lovely as was the homestead, very nice atmosphere. Our wait staff were excellent, friendly and helpful. They were very conscious of the large loud table that was near us and explained they would be leaving soon. Good choice of food, and everyone enjoyed their choices- very yummy tiramisu.. the wines we chose were also appreciated. Definitely would recommend a visit, hopefully no large noisy table near you though 😀
A very pleasant day in a quite surrounding to enjoy a light lunch. Try the Dromana Estate Pinot Noir an outstanding wine.
When we arrived they seemed to be disorganized and under staffed although it was not busy at that stage. The staff gradually got on top of things and were terrific. We enjoyed a relaxing time and the staff were great after a bad start.
We love the setting at Dromana Estate - it's a heritage building so is very authentic. Lovely gardens and vineyards surround the building. Nice in winter and in summer you can sit outside.
Limited menu poor presentation barely edible food
Food was tasty and good portions regarding pricing. The staff were very helpful with pairing wines with food and very attentive to their service. Highly recommended and will come again.
We were recommended by a friend to go to Dromana Estate. It was our 44th wedding anniversary so wanted somewhere nice to celebrate. We were seated and after a fairly long wait our drinks order was taken which did arrive
shortly after. We then.ordered our
meal and waited and waited up to 1 1/2 hrs. During thiz time we then had to go up to the bar to order another glass of wine. Got wine but still no meal. They were busy as youd imagine on a public holiday.
When we went up to ask about our meals only to be told the order hadnt even been put thru.
Nice place. Service a bit slow but food and drinks good.
The service was terrible and the menu confused and poor quality. A mix of Asian and eastern European inspired food but none done well.
The only positive is the venue itself is quite lovely.
Very good wines and tasty food
I loved this place. It was great for a light lunch as we all shared cheese boards and pizza. Tasty food. Will come back and I recommend
The food and service were fantastic!
Didn’t even get our table we booked. No one served us and the place was bedlam!
Beautiful garden and fantastic food and wines
Good food and good wine, what more do you want ?
The service was great and we all had a great time..
Great time but just needed ice cream for choc lava desert..
Lunch was lovely. Food was delicious and so reasonably priced! Staff were very friendly and attentive and of course, great wine. Delightful setting also.
Nice inside out of heat and then moved into garden for a finishing wine later
Lovely surroundings, beautiful food and nice atmosphere!
We sat outside on the verandah and it was just a beautiful afternoon lunch!
Wonderful experience & ambiance... wait staff very polite & friendly
Food inconsistent across table. Beef short rib dish was lukewarm and lacked seasoning, only 3 scallops on plate in scallop main course, although they were tasty, pork belly had soft rind. Salad delicious, calamari good. Had several waitresses, 2 of whom were friendly but other one a bit grumpy. Very noisy inside due to a hen’s group and wooden floors and we had cold air blowing directly on us. Price very reasonable but reflective of dining experience.
Good food and ambience
Service needs a little work though
In general a nice place with better service it would be very good
One of the most reliable and friendly places on the Mornington peninsula, highly recommended.
Excellent food in a lovely country setting. We enjoyed three dishes over lunch and were impressed by the quality of food and wine.
We booked an outdoor table as it was all that was available however the staff were amazing at handling all of our requests: first to add an extra person to the booking at last minute, moving us from outdoors to indoors as the weather wasn't favourable, then moving tables indoors to be away from a large noisy group, accommodating my FODMAP dietary issues and happily replacing a glass of wine that we accidentally spilled. Outstanding all around - service, wine, food and value for money.
Good service excellent prices for drinks at $6 each food was delicious will definitely come again
Lovely atmosphere helpful wait staff. Great that meals are also available in gluten free options.
Possibly could do with a higher protein option for the vegetarian in our group. Cheese platter was great value
Good menu very good wines all at reasonable prices well presented meals and good service in a comfortable very relaxed dining area with garden views look forward to visiting again.
Excellent service and excellent value for money would definitely recommend
We took our interstate guests here for lunch and they loved it! We all loved the menu and the food was outstanding. Highly recommended! Very good value for money too.
The homestead is very elegant and beautiful. The staff at the cellar door were very knowledgeable and friendly. Love the Dromana Estate Pinot Noir.
Fabulous lunch out with friends. So glad we found Dromana Estate!
Was a relaxing experience and the staff and food was great. And the outside scenery, especially the big twisted tree in front was a great unique view. Nice area to take photoes. Will definately stop by for food again in the future, when I visit mornington peninsula.
A friend and I went for lunch and we both really enjoyed the meals and the wines were lovely too!
The menu has a good variety for vegetarians and pescatarians so there were plenty to choose from.
The venue is also really easy to find!
Thank you we really enjoyed it!
Everything was first rate
A thoroughly enjoyable day
Fantastic venue, great food and service highly recommended !!
The food was great as were the local beers and wine. Unfortunately the FOH staff weren’t really up to the task. Even replenishing water seemed to be beyond them. There were plenty OF staff, but just not up to speed.
Music was great and we would go again, but like many places in Victoria the food and wine etc is world class, the staff often not so!
