Driftwood- Boynton Beach
It’s just a cozy restaurant with great food and superb service.
First timers! Bartender made a perfect Manhattan. The food was amazing! The waitress was attentive without hovering. I have already given a recommendation to friends. I’ll be back!
Fun menu, great service and very reasonable prices.
Food and service is always excellent. Creative dishes and friendly service from Tina.
Love Rob the bartender
The short ribs and the tile fish are outstanding
The food was outstanding as was our server Pillar. It’s rustic on the outside but incredible on the inside. Will go back again and again. Prices are very fair but the food choices will make whatever you spend worthwhile. 5stars!!
Love the fresh farm to table items. The server even let us know which local farms each item we ordered came from.
The shrimp and grits are my go to favorite. The music on Sunday nights are a little loud for the small restaurant. They also have it on Thursday night. The swordfish is also good and the yucca tots.
The shrimp and grits along with their craft cocktails are delicious! Enjoyable evening there with friends!
Delicious, locally source dishes are served. Service not the most attentive. Quarters are a bit tight. Will most likely return.
Wonderful dinner, grilled octopus, steak tartare, tile fish cheeks, pastrami chicken.. unique items on menu. Small venue so make reservations. Would definitely return when back in town
The food is delicious and well presented. The atmosphere is relaxed and comfortable and the service is exceptional. Innovative food preparation. Great local gem!
Comfortable booth table. Waitress Connie was very personable, knowledgeable of the menu and helpful in our decision process. She started us off with some boiled peanuts on the house. Soft, hot and right out of the pot. Very unusual but delicious. We also had an order of yucca tots for the table with a very tasty sauce.
Entrees were shrimp and grits, swordfish and golden tilefish. All were outstanding. Prices were moderate and exceptional for the quality of the fare.
As a bonus (for Delray Beach) Driftwood has a sizable parking lot. Great spot. We will be regulars.
Excellent, creative food that is always delicious. Great local spot!
The calamari was delicious and an interesting presentation. Swordfish was fantastic, fresh and inventive. My partner had the chicken and dumplings which were just so-so, but I’m not sure that dish can be any better than so-so. The wine list is a bit lacking.
Everything was wonderful and we will surely return. We’ve already recommended this restaurant to family and friends. Particularly tasty was the ceviche! Delightful. The only thing that would have made it better would have been an acknowledgement of the birthday we were celebrating (as most open table restaurants do).
Once again this place really shined. Started with the calamari (again) which we split. Two diners had the tilefish which was outstanding ( I had that last visit) one had the chicken and dumplings (she ate every bite) and I had the short ribs. I’ve had the short ribs before and these may have been a bit better, so tender, and the bed of little potatoes (taste like German potato salad) were great. Split the almond cake for dessert was delicious. I could eat here weekly.
Great local restaurant with a superb menu!! Desserts were amazing!
We were visiting from out of town and I made a reservation for Driftwood based on reviews--Our friends who are new residents of Boynton Beach had never eaten here so it was first time for everyone at our table--Everything from Cocktails to Desert was top notch--Stand outs for me were the Margarita, Yuca Tots, Short Ribs and the Dark Chocolate Tart
Service, food, ambience and even the live music were wonderful. Calming yet cool and hip vibe experience. We were group of 4 and everyone loved their meals.
The food was ok. The gnocchi was very good. The swordfish had a fishy taste and was a smallish portion. There was a provolone special ordered by a nearby table that had an extremely unpleasant, pungent, long lasting smell. The bartender was warm and welcoming, and he also made us very good drinks.
The Restaurant was relaxed, comfortable and unpretentious. Our server was attentive without being imposing. I hardly noticed she was there but was there when we needed her. The food was exceptionally delicious and fresh, all perfectly prepared and cooked.
Friendly reception and a really wonderful waitress. Delicious food and wine. Great atmosphere.
They crushed it
Food at best was fair. Service was barely acceptable. Server went thru the motions but did not seem to really care. Drinks with name brand vodka was a ripoff--$14.00 for a margarita!! This was the second and last time we will eat at Driftwood.
Thursday are made even better because you can have well prepared food and hear Joey George sing and play.
Loved the shrimp and grits. Portions are perfect and we went on a Thursday night and there was music.
Excellent as always
Recommended by an associate we finally got there. What a pleasant surprise!! The ambiance was very cozy and our server was professional and personable. The creativity of the food and the quality of the ingredients were superb. All of that at a reasonable price is a real winner!! We will be back and spread the word.
A unique restaurant. Farm to table with an ecclectic choice of entrees. We will definitely go there again!
1st time dining at Driftwood. Food was excellent and overall dining experience terrific. Nice having such a good restaurant in Boynton Beach. Can't wait to go again!!!!
The food, while appearing interesting on the menu, was for the most part disappointing and several items were actually bad. The deviled eggs were inedible and the one member of our party who did eat them was violently ill. The hummus tasted like supermarket tub hummus, the calamari was underdone and the root vegetables were very poorly done. The bright spots were the liver pate and gnocchi.
the piece of swordfish while tasty was the smallest I ever was served- makes me not want to return to this restaurant-
Invited two friends to join us for dinner. Started with the calamari which is spectacular, possibly my favorite item on the menu. Three of us had the tile fish, the other the swordfish, everyone was happy with their selections. The food here is outstanding, I want to return to try something different every time but the problem is when I arrive it’s difficult not to pick the the items I already have tried.
We love Driftwood. Service is excellent. Food is delicious.
Will keep going back again and again. Love the place.
Excellent food and intimate setting. Our local go to place. Love 'em.
Liked the place service was good. Loved the ceviche! I ordered the short ribs they were fatty and tough. Didn’t care for them . My husband had the calamari it came like a rectangular patty also not too tasty. Maybe we ordered the wrong things ? Would give it another try.
Great cocktails, avocado involved then comfort food; chicken and dumplings.
I mean, I was absolutely floored. Enough said. The ambience, the music, the decor, the presentation, service and above all, the food. We made a reservation to come back before we even left.
