Join us as we celebrate Easter Sunday the David Burke way with a whimsical brunch buffet, views of the ocean, and exceptional service.

I've been to David Burke Fromagerie and Ama Ristorante many times and this is their combined reincarnation. We were seated promptly but then ignored for a bit, but then the service picked up. Cocktail list was creative and not too pricey. The pastrami salmon was excellent. The shaved artichokes with arugula and parmesan wasn't as good as the one previously at Ama, but still good. Excellent Branzino and spinach and mushrooms.
All in all an excellent meal. I'm sure it will only improve over time
The change over from Ama to the Drifthouse is welcome. The staff was quick, courteous and knowledgeable. The food was wonderful and creative.
We are so happy to see David Burke back at the Jersey Shore. He adds a flair to everything he touches and w/the help of Executive Chef, Robert Burke and the competent staff, this restaurant will be the talk of the Peninsula! Please make a reservation if you want to get in!
Fantastic ambience, food, and service. Excellent food presentations, bustling atmosphere, but not overpowering. Desserts were a step above. Not inexpensive, but a great value at this price point.
Our first visit to Drifthouse after not coming to the new Ama after the original chef was let go.
Drifthouse was buzzing the night we were there and we had OUTSTANDING service from Corey. Drinks from the bar were well made. An app of pastrami crusted salmon was delish. Their octopus and chorizo kababs were the worst thing we ate all night. It tasted like reheated octopus on a stick with mediocre chorizo.
The short ribs and scallop mains were plentiful portions and very well made.
The other miss of the night was the Baked Alaska- our entire table of four loved the presentation but really didn't enjoy this tasteless and expensive dessert.
We will definitely be back here...but we'll be a lot more selective on what and how we order.
First of all: service. As always at a David Burke establishment, the servers are impeccably trained. Our server Erin was at once incredibly well versed re the menu offerings, and down to earth and approachable. Her wine recommendation was spot on.
The house is noisy; some rooms simply are. The entrees were SPOT ON: I had a perfectly cooked (medium rare) filet mignon. My husband had the squid in pasta Fra Diavlo w seafood. The seafood was JUST CAUGHT FRESH, and the sauce had a depth of flavor that was a clear indication of long, slow carefully tended cooking.
The only disappointment was the highly anticipated (by me) Maple Bacon appetizer. The clothesline presentation is adorable .... Sadly it was a little thick cut for my taste, and cooked to the point of having a beef jerky consistency. Some bites were literally impossible to chew.
We skipped dessert, but only because we were full.
All in all, I’d say if your craving a steak, get thee to Driftwood. Hopefully they’ll sort out the few kinks (the server requested honest feedback, which I found encouraging and refreshing).
Nothing to write home about. Food was just ok. A bit pricey.
We are so happy to have David Burke back where he belongs at the Jersey Shore! With his brother Chef Robert at the helm and w/the help of April as the GM, Alex as asst. GM and Arielle, Mike, Erin, Corey and all the wonderful wait staff, they will make this restaurant come out on top!
The food is divine w/a lot of old favorites from when Fromagerie belonged to David Burke, and loads of new and creative additions, I wish we could eat there every night! Break a Leg, David!
Beautiful place for my husbands birthday. Delicious well-prepared food. My husband loved his steak, it was outstanding. My branzino was tasty and they catered to my diet needs.
The food was excellent!!! We had the drift salad , David Burke’s pastrami smoked salmon and 2 entrees. Everything was amazing. We will be back soon. Wait staff was great as was the manager April. I highly recommend!
THIS IS JUST GOING TO GET BETTER AND BETTER. WE DINED HERE ON THEIR SOFT OPENING AND WE WILL BE BACK ONCE A WEEK. THERE IS NOTHING LIKE DAVID BURKE AND THE FACT THAT HIS BROTHER ROBERT, IS THE EXECUTIVE CHEF, YOU KNOW THAT YOU ARE GETTING QUALITY AND ORIGINALITY.
IT'S A BEAUTIFUL PLACE W/A GREAT VIEW. THE BRUNCH WILL BE WONDERFUL, AS I REMEMBER FROM THE FROMAGERIE WHEN DAVID BURKE OWNED IT. YOU CAN'T BEAT THIS PLACE.
Amazing experience! Great food and service! Request a waterfront table. Try the Bacon on a clothesline!
Welcome back David Burke. It is comfort food with a gourmet touch. The restaurant is bringing back some of the David Burke signature dishes. I love the bacon on a clothesline. If you liked The Fromagerie when David ran it you will love this place. Even some of the old staff is back.
We were there on the second night and even though it is a new restaurant with a mostly new staff, if ran like a well oiled machine.
David burke is in the house oh yeah so happy . Finally a phenomenal steak . Food was superb!!! David Burke is back where he belongs!! #jersey shore is in a for a real treat this summer!
