Food was really good. My wife’s food came out slightly on the cooler side and she had to send it back. Other then that food was good. Lighting inside side was bad. They use led lighting but use too white of led’s. So when they dim lights it looks like bad fluorescent lights. Needed a warmer led.
Way expensive for the quality of food.
Service and food was remarkable. We will certainly return.
Dinner for 4 on Friday night. Able to get reservation for 7:45 same day. Food very good altho one dish of linguini with sea food was a bit overcooked. Very reasonable wine list. Venue has two dining areas, one with live performers which was a bit too loud for us. We were able to get seated in the other dining area with a nice fireplace and less noise. Chocolate cake dessert although pricy was fun and easily fed 3 people. We enjoyed the meal and will return.
Food and service were very good but I was very disappointed that the restaurant week menu online and the menu at the restaurant were very different. My name is
Service on par for the area. Host and server were helpful, advised us of what was on the menu, and performed there jobs very well. Overall a great experience.
Very good food great service typical of David Burke’s restaurant s
Burgers for five bucks? Run, don't walk, for a delicious burger (or brisket or chicken) on any given Tuesday.
Delicious! Ask for Janice - best server at the Jersey Shore.
The food was, as expected beautifully presented and very good.
The front desk staff was unprofessional and seemed flustered, despite our reservation.
We were seated in an empty Siberian dining room, rather than the main room, with the view and music, for no apparent reason.
Everything was amazing! From the special cocktail of the day, to the delicious chocolate cake for dessert, everything was simply amazing! We will be back again soon!
Celebrated a birthday. What a great place to do that!
Great vibe, great music, sushi and lobster pizza were excellent
LOVED Lobster Night!! It was my mother's birthday and my two sons and I took her out to dinner for her birthday. So happy it landed on a Wednesday as we started with oysters on special and then all picked out different lobster entrees for dinner. Live music, great food, and an amazing server Shawn!!! He was so accommodating and made the whole experience truly special. Thank you....we will be back.....btw- the 3 sides were also amazing....loved the brussel sprouts the best!!!
Go there quite a bit with husband and sometimes the family ! Music and dining some nights and water view! Nice ambiance!
When Sunday night Easter. Lobster special. John our waiter was exceptional. Lobster was great how iPad do you lobster macaroni I had a whole lobster with a giant baked potato.Everything was very good thank you
From entry to departure the service was outstanding.
The setting, the view of the ocean. Pure delight.....
I will be back for more!
Made reservations for 4 people for Easter Sunday brunch for 2:30pm...arrived on time....the restaurant was not full...were seated and given water and then waited 2 HOURS to finally receive any food and to add insult to injury they ran out of what I ordered..by 5:30pm we finally left. Waitress had no explanation for the hold up of everything and was very nonchalant about the whole experience and so was the manager when we complained.
Horrible service and mediocre food that is way overpriced.
Easter Day, not as expected , place was extremely noisy more like a family place
We miss having Easter Brunch at Drifthouse. This year they had a prix fixed menu. Service was challenged despite limited seating. Overall it was ok for Easter day.
OUR FOOD WAS VERY GOOD---AND THE AMOUNT WAS ALSO VERY GOOD...DEFINITELY HEADING BACK THERE.....
Lovely Easter brunch!
Our server, Michael, was awesome! The drinks were fabulous! The eggplant chips are to die for. The crudo is very good. Both of us had the scallops & octopus for dinner which were impeccable. Highly highly recommend
I had a table reserved for 3 people at 6, but decided to eat in the bar area.
We love the Drifthouse, we have been back many times, The atmosphere, food, and service is excellent!
Exception food and service
We came on lobster night. I realize it’s $12 for a lobster roll but it was literally more lettuce than lobster. If you’re gonna skimp that much, take it off the menu. The lobster Mac and cheese on the other hand, was full of lobster and delicious. And my kids ordered buttered macaroni for $13 each. Go figure.
Excellent food and wonderful service. We love it at Drifthouse!
We had a great time. The food was delicious. The service and ambiance were amazing. Definitely recommend it and we’ll return.
The food was excellent as expected from Davis Burke’s places yummy😋. Our drinks were not as amazing as the last time I was there, but we opted to not complain. The service was superb. There were a few large tables hence the noise level was high- I look forward to returning
Food was great as always. Service this time was definitely lacking. I was not sure if the overall restaurant was backed up but our service was certainly not on par with the food and the other experiences we've had here in the past. We will go back and do recommend as the food is excellent, likely just an off night but it should be noted!
I am not a big fan of fish, but if you have to eat it this is the place. Bronzino or Swordfish are excellent.
Great selection of seafood entrees, good drink menu, and solid dessert. cool view of ocean/beach
Did lobster and oyster night 2 weeks in a row. Excellent food, tremendous value, very professional service, and really good live music to boot. And no corkage fee for BYO on top of it all. Plan to take advantage of it as much as possible before the summer crowds descend.
The food was wonderful and the service even better. I wish I remembered our Server’s name, she was extraordinary and it’s not the first time we had her. The restaurant has a great ambiance and view of the ocean. The only downside was that the terrific band was too loud for the small space. So loud you couldn’t talk while eating. Despite that, I’ll go back again and again and listen instead of talking when the band is playing.
So great to be out again at such a terrific place. David Burke nailed it...again.
I am a very active senior and visited the Drifthouse on Tuesday evening when they have $5.00 burger night and music. The restaurant was jam packed but we got our table within 10 minutes of our reservation time. However, it was downhill from that point on. Our waitress brought our appetizer of some good sushi and then disappeared. When the music began the volume was so loud that all the diners increased their talking level to outdo some very high decibels coming come from the band. After a number of tries to get the establishment to ask the musicians to lower the volume, they moved us to another room. They did try to accommodate us, but they seemed to have forgotten our order. It took almost 1 hour for our food to arrive. My friend had ordered the brisket panini and it was overcooked and dried out. The management did bring my friend a very quick burger fixed to her liking, but it did leave us with a bad taste for this restaurant.
I have eaten here before and found it to be a lovely, fine dining experience, so I will give it another chance.
Tables were appropriately separated. Food was very good.
I went for the lobster special on a Sunday early evening and as far as food got what was expected meaning relatively small portions but very good food. The reason for the three stars is our waitress was terrible she paid very little attention to us I’m not sure if it’s because we were getting the special and she didn’t expect a good tip or if she was new not sure but we felt pretty much ignored most of the time. It’s a beautiful place and I would go back even if it’s just for the view I hope the help gets brought up to speed if that was in fact the case for the price you pay on a regular basis they should have top notch help
Went on Sunday for Lobster and Oyster night with friends. Great value. Highlights included Steamed lobster, Lobster Mac n Cheese, Raw Bar Oysters, Chicken Entrée, Brussel Sprouts (Best we ever had!), Mushrooms and Spinach. Only disappointment was Lobster pizza. No corkage fee special that night also. Nice beach atmosphere!
Food was excellent and had a wonderful seat overlooking the ocean! Loved the crab cake and Brussels sprouts! Also loved the salmon! One of best restaurants on jersey shore!
