Not worth it. Lemon vinaigrette dressing wasn’t well made for salad. Side of broccoli was just soggy/sloppy. Over cooked steak had to send it back.

Fish was fresh tasting (halibut and snapper); pace was just right ; the waiter, Mike E was the best I have had in recent memory. The seagulls outside the window were entertaining.

If you are expecting NYC quality David Burke, you will be disappointed. I’ve followed him since Townhouse and this is basically a run down Jersey Shore beach club cafe that slapped his name on it. Food was very fresh with very large portions and fine price point but under-seasoned. They crammed everybody in the same space on the deck so what started as a romantic dinner ended with a woman screaming about her kids in my ear. Information from patron to patron was inconsistent. Also they canceled my OT reservation alleging we didn’t attend causing me to defend my attendance with OT. I’ll stick with real DB in the city and leave Pauly D and them to enjoy the beach shack.

Our experience started off a bit shaky because we were seated for a 6:45 reservation in the newer dining area but surrounded by tables with small children. Although I love my little people, I think the restaurant should be conscious of seating choices. Once reseated, w/o question which was nice, the service began a bit slow, but our server David turned out to be good and the food that we ordered was very flavorful. Our friend did order the NY Strip which he said was a bit fatty, overall we were left enjoying our evening. The noise level is loud. The prices are quite high, so I have high expectations for food, service and overall ambiance!
