Our first dining experience at Drift. The food experience was not consistent across our table, I can only attribute this to it being Fathers day and lack of help with a packed house. We were seated at 5:30 and didnt leave till 9, at which point I had to ask for our bill and we still did not have dessert delivered yet. We took it home, pretty sub par for that, overall meals were very good One interesting point I asked for Irish Coffee and was told we don’t have any whipped cream, thought that was strange It took quite some time between courses. Our waitress was super nice; she was the best part of the evening. Drink glasses piled up as there was no evident help to clear tables In summary we all liked our food, extremely pricey and lack of table service would make it difficult to go back For context, we are local residents, over10+ yearsI

Drift is special. I love eating out and enjoy good food. It's rare that a restaurant experience is perfect and exceeds my expectations, but this did. I had the Crimson Queen Cocktail which was a delicious and unusual combo of flavors, perfectly balanced. We ordered the foccia, which I don't ordinarily love, but it was crispy and fluffy and so flavorful with herbed whipped butter. I shared the rockfish and the swordfish schnitzel dinners. Both fish cooked perfectly, delicious sauces, very creative flavors again, perfectly balanced. Both were absolutely delicious. If I had any recommendation, it would be to add some sort of salad choices and to consider better cushions/support on the banquettes. Overall, it was impeccable. Te service was excellent and the server was knowledgeable and delightful. I loved it and would go back again. All of us felt the same.

What a wonderful dining experience. Warm, cozy environment. Unique menu selections. Beautiful food presentation. All items - scallops, tuna tartare, oysters, fish - were all fabulous. Nice wine options. Friendly staff especially our waiter Danny who took excellent care of us. This is definitely a top 3 restaurant in Rehoboth Beach. Highly recommend. Looking forward to returning soon.

Overall, our food experience wasn't as good as our visit last year. The crudo scallop appetizer never really came together but the seared scallop alternative was very good, oysters fresh and delicious but while $5 per for the non local ones was ok, the same price for DE bays was not! Bread service was excellent though 4 small pieces for $8 seems high. My lobster french toast was very good but a later delivery appeared to have less meat?? The crab spaghetti could have used more crab and overall flavor a bit bland. Wine markups high (according to WS pro markup approached 400% on my bottle of Garnacha) and wine pours BTG could be more generous. Cocktail drinkers enjoyed them. Terrific service from Mattie (sp) and her associates. We'll return.

We had such a wonderful time. The anniversary cards and Prosecco toast was such a nice touch. All the staff were so kind and knowledgeable Thank you for a lovely evening!

We had a lovely evening at Drift last night. The service was great! We sat outside on the patio and back, and that was lovely. The cocktails were interesting and delicious. We had a few small plates and a couple of large plates. We thought that the small plates were very good, and the large plates were made well, but just not as good as the small plates that we ordered. Overall, a great experience and we will be back!
