Drift brings to Rehoboth Beach a premier raw bar and seafood restaurant in an elevated dining environment. Four of us shared two small plates and two large plates, and we loved every bite. The dishes were not only delicious but also artfully presented. Service was excellent—attentive without being intrusive. We ended the meal with the burned Basque cheesecake, and this sweet treat was a wonderland of flavor—a perfect ending to our evening on the patio. We will definitely be back!

Very cozy atmosphere. Service was impeccable. Server explained to all items on the menu in full detail to make it simply easy to make a decision for dinner. The crab pasta which was homemade and the swordfish schnitzel were done perfectly. Definitely a do over highly recommended.

Amazing experience! Service & food were flawless, came for my anniversary & they had a card w/ very nice handwritten message & signed by all the staff waiting at the table for us & provided a free toast of prosecco. Every dish was 10/10, can’t recommend enough. Will certainly be back regularly

I haven't written a rave review recently for fear of being reptitive This is not your place if you are looking for large meat and potatoes meals. But if you want dishes made with fresh and mostly local food, with exquisite combination of tastes, by a creative chef that is not tied to any particular cuisine, this is the place to go. Remains my favorite in town.

Met our expectations. Great food with fun drinks. Waiter was helpful but not pushy. Sat on the back deck which was covered with fans and not too hot. Staff very pleasant. Recommend it wholeheartedly.

4th time eating at Drift over the past couple of years. Maybe it was the fact it was a Sunday evening after a busy summer weekend with lots of diners, but the experience was just off. Service was very slow, our ordered drinks sat on the bar for 15 minutes until another server brought them to the table only because there wasn't room on the bar for new drink orders. Our server was waiting on our table in the very front of the restaurant, in addition to a table(s) on the back patio. Difficult for him to cover all that distance without some hiccups. We wanted to have all 3 of our entrees to come out together--but even though the server warned us that would be more problematic for the kitchen--it still took an hour from finishing our starters to when the entrees came out. Food was good this time, but not as consistently good as before. And, finally, Drift needs to hire a bus person to clear plates. We routinely set our empty drink glasses on the edge of the table to be removed, but our server and others routinely went by without doing anything. At the end of the meal, we had to stack our plates on the edge of the table (again), but still had to ask the server to take them away. Maybe we'll wait till after the summer season to try Drift again.
