Located on Lake Wylie in the newly developed McLean South Shore, Drift on Lake Wylie is a chef-inspired lakeside chophouse. At the forefront of the Lake Wylie dining scene, our food is simple and seasonal—home to prime cuts of beef, local seafood, and homemade pasta. Whether you join us for dinner, pop by the bustling bar for a quick bite, or book one of our private dining rooms for a special dinner or cocktail party, we look forward to serving you soon.

Join us on July 17th for a Seafood Boil Event, a dinner that is part of our Dockside Dinner series! We'll be serving crab legs, oysters, half lobster tails, and crawfish. It is the perfect summertime event! The meal is $100 per person; this price does not include beverage, 4% admin fee, 18% gratuity, or sales tax. All beverages will be sold at an additional cost. Reservations are required for July 17th from 5pm-7pm.

We have eaten here several other times and the service was much better than this visit. We waited quite a long time for our food. The food was good but was not piping hot when we received it.

Drift was absolutely FABULOUS. The limp crabcake was the best I’ve ever had! The castaway was fabulous. Kellie our server was top tier! My husbands ribeye was incredible & my sea bass literally melted in my mouth. Have absolutely no complaints and cannot wait to return!

Calamari, and finally after years of ordering from other places I had this calamari that as it should be melted in my mouth. Get the lobster bisque and laugh about it. I meant that in a good way! I couldn't stop laughing. Delicious. Seabass mouthwatering. Lunp crab. Just played with my pallet. And added shrimp to that. Just in love with the ambiance and staff. My server was spectacular! He had a twisty mustache and beard. He mad a huge impression of what dinning should be. It was my anniversary and we could no be more pleased.
