Sadly, Drift is closed and apparently out of business. We specifically made a reservation on Opentable so this wouldn't happen. Drift is in a rural section of Puerto Rico with limited cell service. We ended up wasting a good part of the day driving all the way out to Drift ( which we have been to before and loved). There are no humans at Opentable that will field a phone call or return an e-mail. Only a chat bot that couldn't assist us. Hope this review helps. Too bad... Drift was a fun spot.

Once we arrived we were greeted by the host who was really kind. We got to our table and part of the party was already there. The service was adequate. By this I mean the waitress was very straight forward with everything they did not have on the bar and on the food menu. Not her fault! Skipping a few things, the food was bland, although it was well presented. I would not recommend the place any more. The ambiance was hectic. The music was too loud and we could hardly hear each other speak at the table. Honestly, it was dirty and overpriced. For the cost of the meals they should have non-disposable silverware and tableware (it was not disposable, but plastic) By the way, we had to dry all the plates provided for the appetizers since they were dripping wet. This is not a cheap place, they should take better care of the structure, canopies, bathrooms and the surroundings in general. I used to love this place. I hope it comes back to what it was.

Hermoso el sitio, con mucho potencial, los meseros muy serviciales, gente buena pero lamentablemente si llueve tienes que irte, no tienen la facilidad de reubicarte en un espacio bajo techo a pesar de que si hay un area pero está cerrada. Cuando llegamos había música y un buen ambiente pero con la lluvia recogieron y se fueron para colmo se dañó la campana de la cocina y no podían cocinar, solo ofrecían cosas frías. Terrible experiencia luego de haber reservado para un grupo de 10 a celebrar mi aniversario de bodas. Tuvimos que irnos a otra parte ya que no pudimos ordenar comida.

The place is beautiful. The cheese balls and tostones montaditos were delicious. However, I ordered a chicken breast and it was very hard. Then ordered a creme brûlée and it was served like a flan floating in syrup. It did not have the burnt, hard shell of caramel as it should. When I asked the server, she said the kitchen ran out of gas to make it properly. So why even sell it like that and not say anything???? Overall, it was meh.

Its an amazing location, right in front of the beach, you can go swim and come back for some food & drinks. Food was good, had pulpo salad, tostones & rib eye. Service was relaxed but attentive. They had a DJ and while we were leaving there was a Band Setting up. Would def come back w friends for a beach day!

The Customer Service was Good! The Waiter told us about the situation regarding the orders & the cooking situation was in PAUSE because of orders that they received TO GO!! I ask about what was the benefit of making a reservation monsths ago, but they give the importance of the Order TO GO! The Manager Kindly told us the situation. Hope that in the future, the Rest could have the Capacity of Workers in the Cooking Room for Mayor Events, such as past weekend! Thanks! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

We had a reservation at 8 PM on a Friday night. When we got there they told us the kitchen was closed. This is a bar but certainly not a restaurant. If you are trying to eat, I would not recommend this place. Just go for a beer

Totalmente desilusionado. Desde la falta de trato en la entrada. El día anterior me había comunicado para hacer una reservación para el Brunch y me indicaron que no era necesario reservar y que si deseaba me podían adelantar el menú del brunch. De todas maneras realicé la reservación. Llegué al restaurante solo con una bebida en la mano. No me permitieron la entrada con dicha bebida, aún indicándole que veníamos de una reservación y que por ende consumiríamos alimentos y más bebidas. Una de las empleadas fue bien desconsiderada y haciendo señas de manera retante frente a nosotros de que no podíamos entrar. Ya esto era motivo de irnos. Pero dándole oportunidad ya que queríamos realmente comer en el lugar, decidimos dejar la bebida en el vehículo. En cuanto nos sentamos, pido el brunch y me indican que no había brunch. Les expliqué que ése fue el motivo de la reservación y que hasta el día anterior cuando llamé me habían informado el horario y el menú que hasta me querían adelantar. Y para culminar, no tenían varios platos disponibles del menú regular.

Great place for the view, ambiance and drinks. Our waitress Dana was exceptional. Very attentive and friendly. Restaurant was not so good. They were out of many items on the menu, we had to change our order twice. When we got our food the calamari was over seasoned and the tacos were on a very stale tortilla flour. Have been here various times and the food never wowed us. However will keep this spot for chill out drinks.

Estuve celebrando mi cumpleaños en el lugar en el día de ayer (11 Sep 2022) Primera vez que los visito y quede encantada. El trato del staff fue excelente, en especial nuestro mesero Steven que estuvo atento a todo lo que necesitábamos. Debo añadir que el propietario nos dio la bienvenida y estuvo muy atento a que no nos faltara nada. Súper recomendado!!!

Everything is about the location. I had the fish tacos but are not the best I have tried. The angus sliders are pretty good. Waitress was very friendly and attentive.

We love this spot so much and have been coming here regularly since moving to PR. We were looking forward to coming back to enjoy the coconut shrimp and Grouper Bites. When we got there they said the new chef took them off the menu (because it wasn’t “fresh or caught locally” however Salmon Tacos have been added to the menu and you can’t find a Salmon within a few thousand miles…I think we were “fed” a company line) We tried other things but were bummed about our favorite items and a new menu. We did really like the tuna tartar Tacos though. Overall this establishment used to be our most recommended food spot to people visiting. The food combined with the view made for an easy recommendation however, it will no longer be. Bring back the old menu!!!

Hi Daniela. Infact with our menu change, 90% of our seafood is actually fresh. Salmon isnt, but are served because clients request it consistently. Salmon tacos have always been on our menu. We have kept the bestsellers like the tacos, the cheeseballs and also the grouper bites. The new additions are all made from scratch in our kitchen. We apologize the inconvenience it has cause you, but we have received great feedback from our new items. Thanks for the feedback!

The place is beautiful and amazing , the service is 20/10. Absolutely impecable !!! The view is increíble !! Drinks were very good About the food we love the pull Pork sliders!! They are really good !! We really have a blast !!! We are going back for the brunch on Sunday it shows how much we love the experience !!!

The salmon tacos was the best!! The only thing is be sure Uber will pick you up there. We had 3 cancel before someone actually came. But if your driving highly recommend The view and food so good!
