We are used to eating at the bar and have always had great service. On Saturday evening, we sat at a table. The lights above us were very bright so the ambiance was affected. Our waitress was very nice but didn't come to our table that often. I expected better attention for spending $30+ per person not including drinks.

Birthday dinner that was fine. I ordered the sword fish which was cut into cubes and was overdone. Good taste but dry. Service was great and great atmosphere.

Oysters were the draw and the three we had were good - good - very good. No complaints at all. We sat away from the bar and the noise level was low, very comfortable. If you prefer to people watch and an energetic buzz around you, sit near the bar. We were pleased.

Food was superb, we had the Trout, Fish and Chips, and for entree fried calamari. Desert had the Nutella cake. Service was also great. Highly recommended

Great location for a date night. They personalized the experience and the waiter was great! The tables were too close. Will request a booth next time. Will be going back.

The food was good, but the atmosphere was way too loud. There was a table of 15 next to us. The pricing of the food was extremely high for the area and the quality.

We went to Drift to celebrate a girlfriends birthday. Our experience was exceptional! Our server was amazing (thx Casey!), the good was delicious and the ambiance was perfect. The menu was even printed with a special message to the birthday girl which made her feel special.

The food was good. My wife finally order a dish that was better than mine. She order the smoked salmon dish with mashed potatoes and I ordered the pan seared grouper with tomatoes butter and Mac and cheese. The grouper was cooked perfectly but lacked spark with the paired sauce I chose. You can choose other sauces to pair with fish. The Mac and cheese was great. Overall I would go back. I chose the restaurant because my wife loves seafood. The app oysters were good but only came with 4, I would expect at least 8 for the price.

I have to say that in a couple of recent visits I felt that some areas were slipping however this is one of East Cobbs greatest assets and did not like to say, pleased to report that they are back on top new exciting menu options executed perfectly all coupled with exceptional service.

Overall the dinner was good, but not great. Apparently, they changed the preparation and flavor of the grilled octopus, which make it only fair to good. While the server was great, the manager who came by and asked how our meal was seemed absolutely disinterested in our feedback, and essentially blew off our comments. Their seafood stew was very good but relatively small for its price. The crab fried rice was salty, but we had been warned that it was so offering it was our fault. There are better places for seafood.

Our big disappointment was the octopus appetizer. Until now it was our favorite in ATL. Not any more. It had been cut up and served on top of something spicy, too spicy for my wife. The special that night was seafood platter. Disappointing. More a display of plates and bowls than actual food. 2 shrimp, 2 tiny pieces of fish and a seafood soup. Not what I picture when someone says platter. Wife did enjoy the grilled redfish she had.

My food was really good. I had the avacado toast. However,my friend got the hot chicken and waffles and the chicken was terribly overcooked. It was dry, tough and chewy. She ate a good bit of it because she was starving. I was really surprised because Drift ALEAYS has great food, this dish was terrible. We also told the server it was bad, and there was not much reaction.

First visit and had a very pleasant experience. Smoked old fashioned was outstanding and wife loved her cosmo. Server was great, good explanations and was attentive. Grilled octopus was a little bland and a very small portion compared to similar version at other restaurants in Atlanta and elsewhere. Fried oyster dinner good but a little greasy. Wife ordered combination platter but got shrimp that ended up being fine and plenty of food. Server comped dessert for the mix up that was very nice. Will return, definitely want to try crab duck fat fried rice and have another smoked old fashioned.

Drift was just not up to their usual excellence. The food was slow getting to the table (we blame the lack of someone in charge of getting the plates out - everyone was pitching in, but...)
While the food was good, the service was really lack luster.
