Great food, as always, and the ambiance is fun, upbeat, and a great place to dine! It was Cabaret week when we attended that evening, so the live music on the piano was an added bonus.
The experience was great. Drew’s was able to accommodate our party with no issues. Our party doubled in size at the last minute and everything was outstanding.
First of all, loved the ambiance. There was constant music (no breaks) and it was all terrific! Sort of "our kind" of tunes.
The staff is great ... helpful, accommodating, friendly. Drew himself even stops by.
And loved the food. Some favorites: Drew’s salad, the Pear salad and the Brie pizza with grapes which we asked for crispy and actually got it crispy. I love unique pizzas. John thought it would be nice to have a basic pepperoni in addition to the available options.
On the whole, it was a VERY pleasant evening.
Old school ambiance and menu. Even a piano player singing the oldies.
Neighborhood restaurant. Good ambience.
Great Service, excellent food and great drinks......
Food, drinks, and service was great.
Loved the live music!
Always great tasting, creative food. Attentive staff providing friendly and warm customer service.
Drew's a a delightful white tablecloth piano bar with excellent Happy Hour deals and the food is delicious without being overpriced.
The staff is attentive and very handsome. It's one of my favorite after-work spots in the neighborhood.
Last evening almost everyone in the restaurant sang with piano accompaniment. I some circumstances that would be something to cringe at, however all who sang had excellent voices and I found it lovely.
Friendly waitress and attentive. Limited wine selection IMHO, but fairly priced. Creative menu options with quality, well prepared food. An expected Boys Town crowed, so there’s that. Definitely worth visiting again.
Very romantic on Valentine’s Day with a special cocktail which was delicious, a Valentini! The Ahi tuna is always splendid and the Wasabi mashed potatoes too. The cherry tart was outstanding. Very good service, attentive and friendly.
Wonderful as always!
Went on a Saturday night when they had two singers and pianist and had a great time. The Kennytime cocktail was delicious
The ambiance and food were amazing! The lady that waited on us was awesome! She even brought my significant other a birthday candle out on his Sunday during brunch! Thanks for the amazing experience!
Excellent service! Very friendly staff, piano player/singer is great but much too loud for the size of the restaurant, doesn’t need any amplification! Will defiantly return again and again.
We went for restaurant week and there were 2 price points and menus to choose from. I started out with a Grey Goose Dirty Martini with Blue Cheese Olives. Chilled to perfection. Our courses were tasty.
I would recommend this restaurant!
While the food was good, they mixed up or second course (sat my date’s food in front of me and mine in front of him) and brought us both the same dessert even though he had ordered something else. Also, while the live singing was a nice touch, it was too loud. I found myself having to shout or wait until the singing stopped to carry on a conversation; not a very conducive atmosphere for a first date.
Service, food, and ambiance were all excellent. Also had a piano player and singers which added greatly to the enjoyment of the evening.
We really wanted to love this place being local to our home we were hoping it would become our regular go to place. But after our experience I’m not sure we’d go back.
Firstly, I want to be clear that food and drinks were good.
But this was massively overshadowed by the really crappy service. Firstly the place was super busy which I guess is to be expected on a Friday evening but I’m talking hectic and rowdy busy. The tables are too crowded and there is insufficient space for the wait staff to even pass between tables. Not that there was really wait staff to speak of, which brings me to the next point.
Unfortunately the service was very erratic and poorly organised. Literally the only member of staff who was attentive in any way was the poor bar man who was absolutely run off his feet covering a busy bar as well as waiting tables. So credit to him for looking after us as best he could. Maybe they were having a bad evening and were short of staff. But with so many exceptional places to eat in the neighborhood we will likely eat elsewhere in future.
Music is too loud the last three times we’ve been there. The director of entertainment is very rude.
Drinks and food are worth it alone!!!!! But the service is very basic not really friendly friendly but bare minimum. Back part needs some sprucing up a little. If they updated the ambiance factor I think this place can draw in a lot of business
Birthday for grandson
Went for restaurant week and thought it was a good find. Nicer ambience but not intimidating. Really well made food.
Everything was awesome, except we were seated right by the piano. It was too loud. We couldn’t have any discussions without yelling. L
Great staff serving excellent food. Convenient location near Briar Street Theatre. I was there with my grandchildren who loved it!
Service was very slow. Buss staff rarely cleaned off table, did not replace bread etc. they need some much better training.
The food was great and the value was too! Great location. The service was a bit slow and there weren’t many customers but all in all a great meal and will be back.
Birthday brunch was outstanding with the fabulous mimosa flavors and the Bloody Mary bar!! Always our family favorite to celebrate here any occasion or just come for no reason at all. Food is fabulous!
Way over crowded. Rude diners at nearby tables.
It took much too long after we were first seated before a waiter attended to our table. After they finally got to us, everything was fine. Service, food, and ambiance were all very good.
Wonderful dinner for nine of us prior to the Blue Man show. The food was excellent, particularly the Duck Leg and Thigh Confit. So moist and flavorful! Fabulous.
The restaurant itself is very pretty. The service was great from the minute we walked in the door. I went with a close friend for a catch up and were lucky to hear some live piano/cabaret music before we left. Both of us loved our meal and the drinks were also delicious. It's definitely a place I'd go back to and plan to.
Great food and friendly attentive service. The piano
player was an added treat. Look forward to my next meal at Drew’s.
Great food. Wonderful service. A short walk from the theater that blue man is playing. Definitely would eat here again
A beautiful place with a lovely atmosphere for a date.
We went to Drew's last year during restaurant week. It was this quiet little bistro with a French focused menu. During this visit, it seemed to have changed its focus to a supper club with live music, tvs with sports playing at the bar and much less of a French Bistro vibe. It seems that this establishment is struggling with its identity. If you are a supper club with cabaret acts, don't have sports playing on tvs in in the bar. If you are a bistro, don't have live music disrupting conversation. I honestly don't think this space is large enough for a baby grand piano and live music because it eliminates your ability to interact with your fellow diners. You also can barely hear the wait staff. We also were disappointed with some of the food preparation as well as I had indicated that we were celebrating a birthday and it was not acknowledged. It's unfortunate the changes that have occurred in the past year. We won't be back.
New Years Eve
Great brunch. Fast service and nice people.
