Lovely restaurant for celebrating a special occasion. Superb service.. Fine dining!!
Service was excellent. Food was outstanding. Will be going back in the near future.
The Caprese salad was so fresh, and the pecan tart was amazing.
great food, service, drinks, value. You will find excellent quality and attention to detail on every dish that leaves the kitchen.
Always our go to place..
Excellent service. All appetizers, salad, entrees and desserts were excellent. One side....the butternut squash was not good. It lacked flavor and added nothing to the dish. The cost is high, but this is one treat you shouldn't miss. This is easily 4.8 of 5 and we eat out every meal so that says a great deal.
from the service to the food, it was, excellent!
You can always rely on Dressler’s for the above reasons.
Had an excellent anniversary dinner with a complimentary champagne toast. Food and service were both exceptional.
Dressler's exceeded my expectations. It has a great atmosphere, wonderful service and AMAZING food! I highly recommend this restaurant.
Great restaurant. The food and the service were great. We had the lamb and the scallops and fully enjoyed both.
Everything was fantastic, from the valet parking to dessert. Our server was kind and knowledgeable. The food was delicious as always and the short rib very tender and huge. My wife had the smoked salmon appetizer which she enjoyed immensely. Dressler’s has become our treat yourself restaurant. Cannot wait for our children to come to town so they can share the experience. Good job!!!
Definitely a “must go” restaurant for special occasions. Nice, quiet ambience, excellent service and mouth-watering food. The pork tenderloin appetizer was delicious, paired perfectly with the sauces. I ordered the scallops and they just melted in my mouth. Succulent and plump. You can’t go wrong with Mom’s Cheesecake for dessert, light creamy filling with the best graham cracker crust! The wait staff is prompt, courteous and efficient. Overall a perfect evening out.
The food and service were exceptional. We will be going back again.
This is our go to place for an great meal. It’s a little pricey, but it’s worth every penny the food and the staff are second to none.
Just for the Halibut is one of the best meals we’ve had anywhere. Out only disappointment is that we rarely try any other entrees because it’s so amazing we get it nearly every time.
The Calamari and Wedge are two more items we regularly order and are also outstanding. We also tried the Cajun BBQ Shrimp ( which appears to be new) and it was amazing. The sauce was perfect. If you haven’t been, you’re truly missing out.
Food has declined over the years. Now just average. They put big tables mixed with small. Far to loud when sitting near them
Neighbors catching up. Steak night!!
Excellent food, wine, and service, as always. We are fairly regular guests, so we know many of the employees and it is very familiar, friendly, and comfortable. Although we missed some of the former menu items at first, the changes have been refreshing and the new items are equally excellent. The updated decor is also a good change. Dressler's is our favorite place for special occasions, and this visit was for "our" birthday (the day between our two real birthdays) with our oldest daughter. We started with shared wasabi calimari (unique and delightful), and I had a G's House Salad (again, unique and delicious). Two of us had the crab cake entree. Having grown up in Maryland with Maryland native parents and a mother with family roots on the Eastern Shore of the Chesapeake Bay, I'm particular about crab dishes -- crab cakes in particular. While they are not my mother's crab cakes, Dressler's makes some of the best crab cakes I have anywhere other than hers -- large, full of meat with minimal binder and a very fresh crab taste not hidden by unnecessary seasoning or additional ingredients. My wife had the salmon with a substitution of the evening's special risotto for the potatoes. They accommodate substitutions like that with ease and grace. She raved about the dish. A nicely chilled bottle of Sonoma-Cutrer Chardonnay accompanied it all perfectly. Afterwards, they surprised us with two servings of the Cheerwine cake (one candle each) and ice cream to share. We would never have thought to order it in the past, but it is now on the list for the future. Our principal server was attentive without imposing, and others dropped by to check on us from time to time, including our friends from management and behind the bar. It was the kind of evening we expect from Dressler's, and we are never disappointed, but we never take it for granted because we know how lucky we are to be able to dine with them. We recommend them to everybody without hesitation for any occasion.
We love their service and food.
Best cheesecake anywhere.
Very nice restaurant with a casual vibe. Our server, Matt, was attentive and made sure we were happy with our meal. The food for the overall was delicious. The only missteps with the food was our bread was hard as brick, you couldn’t even bite through it. When we let Matt know, he did apologize & got us fresh bread promptly. Our salad was missing the goat cheese, but we didn’t fuss about that as we were ok with no goat cheese. Overall a pleasant experience.
Great service excellent food
Great food and great service in an appealing atmosphere. The Mahi-mahi was amazing.
It was a birthday dinner
The ambience of the restaurant was amazing and was a great experience for my wife an I, as it was our first time dining at the restaurant. Definitely returning!
Adam was amazing! This was a casual business dinner, and he was very attentive, and had wonderful recommendations. The staff was accommodating when we needed to move the time later and add more people at the last minute, as they were coming straight from the airport. We love Dresslers, and will continue to visit!
Always enjoy the meal and experience of dining at Dressler’s. My only comments of this particular evening are: The charcuterie was redundant and boring—could certainly use a redesign. And the service was uncharacteristically slow or inattentive.
Excellent choice forfood, drink and service in a convenient location
The occasion was to celebrate my daughters graduation from high school and to celebrate Father’s Day.
New to the area and were looking for a place to have a special dinner. Dressler’s was an excellent choice! The food, service and atmosphere met our high expectations. The Birkdale location is great for outdoor dining and people watching. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Our server was especially pleasant and made great recommendations. The wild boar tenderloin appetizer, heart of ribeye entree and halibut entree were delicious.
We’ll go back!
Lovely restaurant with impeccable service, great wine list and menu. White tablecloth and great light jazz playing in the background makes a nice setting for an elegant dinner. Steak and pork chop were delicious, generous sides of spinach and fingerling potatoes were extra. Fine restaurant for a relaxing night out or a special occasion.
This was our tenth trip to Dressler's in the last two years and it was as good this time as our first.
Great food and service in a quite atmosphere.
Great service, especially in bar area. Would like to see a 12oz filet offered on the menu and also some of the older apps that are no longer offered.
Service was excellent, steak was not what I’d consider a $35-40 steak.
Waiter was distracted. Poured a refill on wine when was told it was not wanted. And of course it was on the bill.
It was a dark and stormy night but the restaurant was inviting. The food was very good. We had made our reservations on line and received a complimentary appetizer of crab dip which was excellent. Two had crab cakes and there was not an ounce of filler in them. They were delicious. The wedge salad was very good. The lobster Mac and cheese was enough for a meal and not a side. The shaved brussel sprouts were the best I have ever had. There was enough to bring home and have for dinner the next night.
Over all it was a very memorable dinner, with a very pleasant waitress, and a lovely way to spend our gift card with our son and daughter-in-law for our 50th anniversary.
Best restaurant, ever. Service is exceptional, always. Love going here, even for hanging out in the bar.
We are very loyal Dressler's fans but our recent experience has sadly turned us off of our favorite restaurant in Huntersville. They recently changed their steak menu to a a la carte style menu, so it cost 45 dollars for me to have a steak and asparagus. We had just visited the downtown location the weekend before, and the exact steak was served with potatoes and asparagus for 38 dollars. My daughter also tried to swap fingerling potatoes for au gratin potatoes, which were a one dollar difference on the sides menu, and our waitress had to go ask her managers manager if they could charge us one dollar for the difference. We just felt that they had become much more expensive without a large increase in value. Our waitress kept rushing us even though we were one of three tables in the restaurant. We will continue to go to the Dresslers downtown, but we will not be returning to the one in Huntersville.
Celebrated my Wife's birthday. Great service, nice atmosphere. We look forward to returning.
I had an outstanding time at this restaurant wonderful service and the food was excellent!!!!!!
Definitely recommend! Hubby and I have been going for about 5 years now... love dining at this restaurant!
We went for a special occasion. Regular patronage is not in our budget ;-)
