   The evening was very busy as it was Saturday and apparently the last night for the restaurant. As such the ambience was very energetic with a lot of chatter in the room making it difficult to speak to one another. However, the staff were very polite and efficient in taking the orders and brining the food. My wife had the crabcakes and I had the blackened ribeye steak. The wine I ordered was Tribute Cabernet Sauvignon and turned out to be an exceptional pairing with the steak. The wine list was limited in its selections and most were mediocre in value. We finished up with the chocolate cake that was very rich, dense and delicious. The valet service was very well organized. Overall, this is a high-class restaurant and I am sad at the prospect that it may be no more.

   Our experience at Dressler's Birkdale was exceptional. I am ever so excited that our dining experience is consistently excellent. I have mixed emotions about the closing of Dresslers and the new opening of Fin & Fino at Birkdale. I do look forward to a somewhat different venue, but I know that John and his staff are well prepared for the change.

   We are sad to see Dressler’s closing soon to remodel; but we LOVED our experience. Our server was amazing as always, the staff was prompt and friendly, and it was wonderful to see Derrick again (what a hoot of a guy!). Looking forward to seeing the staff again after the remodel is complete!
