Dream Dance Steakhouse at Potawatomi Hotel and Casino
Need to book at 8:45 AM?Other great restaurants with availability.
We celebrated two birthdays and the server outdid herself!
Food and service was great, and staying at the hotel was nice so we didn't have to drive after dinner. I ordered the 3 course meal and thought the value was very good. Just wish the tables we as good as the dinner.
All 4 of us ordered the $49.00 3 course prefixed menu of filet and shrimp. Very tender, cooked to perfection although my filet was almost cold when presented to tje table. They reheated it without over cooking it. Our server Emily was very competent and attentive. All of us agreed it was a very good dining experience.
Salad was poorly plated, (lettuce piled way too high on such a small plate) and dressing was to be vinaigrette. It tasted like all sugar. You should offer a low cal dressing. We ordered 2 14oz. New York strip steaks. Both were way over cooked and tough. We couldn't even chew them. I will never return.
First time back since the remodel. Really enjoyed the new look, the staff were outstanding and the food was amazing. Will definitely be back!
Had an absolutely wonderful time. Our waitress was outstanding, food was excellent and the atmosphere great. Definitely recommend eating there.
The food was outstanding the service was great and you couldn’t tell that you were in a casino the noise level was very low easy to talk
We were not happy to sit a table that was right by a busy pathway into an area used by the wait staff. we always prefer a both and a quiet part of the restaurant. That would be the only complaint
The service was outstanding!! Everyone who worked there was friendly and willing to help with any requests. We had the cheese curd fritters as an appetizer and they were very unique and good. The French onion soup was a little on the sweet side, but still good. Both of our Tenderloin steak sandwiches were cooked perfectly and were as tender as butter.
Reservation was at 6:00 and we were seated promptly. Our server, Kiley, was beyond excellent. The food was excellent as well as the presentation.
Except for walking through the casino we loved Dream Dance. We’ve dined at many of Milwaukee’s finer restaurants and I have to say I have no complaints and many compliments for Dream Dance. Ambiance was modern and subdued; I liked it! The wine and food menu looked great and we settled on a Russian River Pinot Noir (very good) and New York Strip steaks medium rare - they were prepared perfectly, also shared asparagus and roasted Brussels sprouts which pared great with the steaks and wine. Our server Chris was attentive, very pleasant and easy to deal with. Overall we were impressed and look forward to visiting again.
Awesome food and service. Best meal I ever had. Hands down.
Everything was great but dessert was disappointing. Black Forest dessert was gelatinous and tough. Sad end note to an excellent meal.
Our server was great. The salad was good, the soups were so salty they were basically inedible. The steaks were tough, of an inferior quality. The creme brulee and the chocolate ice cream were delicious.
First of all ,being Valentines Day, no red decor to make dinner experience special.
Flowers on table would be a nice touch.
The salad was like a heap of dandelion leaves.
Steak was tough-we had the 3 course meal and the portion sizes were small and the presentation was awful. Medium rare steaks thrown over mashed potatoes with 3 thin, dried out asparagus spears. Overpriced including the drinks!
It was a terrific dinner.
The bar area was renovated nicely but the dining area still looks dated. We also sat quite awhile before our orders were taken and this was at 8pm when it wasn't busy. The tables need tablecloths too so that utensils dont slide around as much as they did.
First time at Dream Dance. Went on a Tuesday which was a good call as an off night and very quiet. Nice ambiance and very quiet. I was surprised at how far apart the tables were which adds to lower noise and privacy.
We ordered a very reasonably priced bottle of Veuve Cliquot Champagne since it was our anniversary.
Started with some Alaskan King Crab as a shared appetizer as we love that and the other choices weren’t very much to our liking. Crab was big legs and delicious, not fishy at all. I ordered the 8 oz filet medium rare and it was excellent. Closer to medium imo, but still pink. My wife had the salmon which was also excellent and very nicely prepared and cooked. Perhaps the best thing was fingerling potatoes cooked in duck fat. OMG! These were these outstanding! Not greasy, perfect salting and seasoning. Surprised me as I generally think of potatoes as sort of boring. Would have skipped dessert but they gave us a small cherry chocolate torte for our anniversary. Ate some, but not too exciting and we figured it wasn’t worth the calories.
Service was excellent. Server Chris was very knowledgeable about the menu and preparation and overall was great!
Overall a very pleasant experience. We will return!
Our experience at The Dream Dance Steakhouse was fantastic! My wife really enjoyed her Sirloin strip, with healthy sides of brussel sprouts and creamed spinach. I fell in LOVE with my Scottish Salmon on a bed of cucumber dill couscous and sauteed spinach. OMG! It was glorious! Very healthy and fulfilling! The service and ambiance was outstanding. The only downside was walking thru the crowded casino to get to the restaurant. Once there, however, Dream Dance certainly lived up to it's name! It was like a DREAM! Can't wait to come back! A+! Five stars!
I ordered the french onion soup and it was burnt. The short ribs were fatty. Service was incredibly slow. I had to go to the bar to get a refill on my drink. Worst meal ever!
Great place to dine before a show. Even though many guests dress casual, I consider it a restaurant to get a little dressed up for. Great service.
The waitress was very Helpful with a friendly smile and she was very knowledgeable about the menu. The food was excellent!!! So upscale. The waitress even called the chef to come out and say hello . had a very pleasant dining experience.
We never have a bad experience. Best in class all the way around.
Loved the new decor. Elegant but relaxed. The French onion soup was amazing. Great flavor. Our steaks were cooked perfectly and the creme brûlée was delicious. The wine (Cabernet) was wonderful. We had a terrific waitress (Colette). We will go back.
We haven't been here since their recent renovation. Honestly, they clearly are downgrading everything. It used to be an oasis of quiet elegance in the casino. Now it's loud, the lights over the booths are glaring and they took away the tablecloths. If you didn't know better, you'd think you were eating at the buffet. The servers are excellent as always, but the food is definitely a step below what it used to be. The steaks are fine, but nothing special. The salads are overdressed and avoid the warm banana bread - It looks like it's been pre-chewed. We're super disappointed, especially as this was a special birthday celebration. For the money, we'd MUCH rather go to Five O'Clock Steakhouse.
What great place inside the casino. Just a total departure from the crazy just outside the door. The bar is excellent with helpful bartenders that are very knowledgeable in their craft.
Always great specials and very reasonable prices for a Milwaukee dining experience.
Our waitress was attentive and warm to our needs without being intrusive.
We will be back.
The path to get to the restaurant through the casino was smoke filled and crowed. The wait staff was average at best. My medium rare steak had a char on it that made it taste burned on the outside. Not a terrible place but if you’re not already there gambling I see no reason to chose this place when you could go somewhere else
Overall, the food was good. The cheese fritters were delicious, the soup of the day was good. The steaks were well cooked. I had the filet which was seasoned well, my husband had the bone in rib eye. He felt it was under seasoned. The sides- brussel sprouts with bacon were good, nothing amazing. Smashed potato also, good nothing remarkable. I didn't like that it came out with the "scoop" of the potato still showing. Made me feel like it was scooped out of a big vat of premade potatoes. The creme brulee was a great end to the meal. The drinks were well made and stayed full! Wait staff was sparse, with our waitetress returning to our table maybe 3 times. Overall, it was good, was it the best I've ever? Had no. For the price I expected a bit more from the food and overall dining experience. Would I return? I likely won't be on the top of my "I have to return here to eat this food again"
Good value for what you're getting. The free dessert that you get the end of dinner. I don't recommend. They used to have a round shortbread cookie which was awesome.
We really like Dream Dance at the Potawatomi Casino. Great food, Great service from server Collette, very welcoming.
Go there sometime—-You’ll see what we mean.
Very nice job of remodeling. Too bad they remodeled their menu. Menu limited. No longer scallops and veal chop on menu. Lettuce wedge salad is half the size it was in past.
Prices have increased.
Will, our server was excellent. Very knowledgeable and attentive. Will really have to think about returning.
Love the experience, bar tender was amazing..the sign in host was amazing..only thing i have to say is when we got to our table there was a waitress that didnt ...smile..or tell us her name....i dont think she wanted to be there that day...bless her but other then that it was good....
The service was impeccable, and we loved the size of the booth we were in. The food was subpar for the money. I was well prepared to spend a decent amount for a nice night out with my wife, and I actually spent less than I had estimated. The filet was supposed to be medium rare and came out med well. The charred butternut squash was hardly cooked and had not one bit of flavor. The risotto was cooked to perfection. You can expect the drinks to be over priced, and the portions to be on the small side. We had the mussels for an app and they were amazing, the creme brulee was fantastic too. I am a professional chef by trade and our meal was NOT a disappointment, but not good enough that I would recommend or return.
Food was great, but wait for table beyond reservation time was too long so we ate in bar
Fantastic dinner all around .. our server Emily also was phenomenal.
A bit pricy but was the food was good. Thank goodness we could use points to pay for it.
Great place to go
I did not care for the fact that it took me and my wife a hour and a half to be served our main course after sitting there and sitting there waiting and waiting for waitress to come. No they were not busy either! Also I paid my bill with a 100$ bill and a 75$ voucher I received from my job and the waitress brings my change as 2 20$ bills umm just me as a server I would have given someone change broken down to let them decide how much they wished to leave not try to force them to leave 20$ bills as a tip give the customer the option. But all in all I would not dine there again too expensive for what you get. Go to 5oclock steakhouse way better service and food
Everything was perfect from beginning to end. Make sure you could the cheese curds fritters.
