Great experience overall. The waiter was awesome! Only negative is the value for price paid for the black bass special. It was a tiny portion with 4 tiny scallops of white potato. How does one leave an Italian restaurant hungry?You can do better for $38 dollars. Tks

Our hostess Jenny was wonderful! We had a party of 12. She set us up with two separate two beautiful Cabana's which was absolutely perfect. Literally the first time our family could be together and everything was seamless. She made our experience really lovely. The food absolutely delicious. I recommend the pheasant ragu. Highly recommend Drago Centro. We loved it.

This was our first time dining out with our newborn. We were nervous but the team at Drago were wonderful and our son did great. Attentive and kind everyone was great. Food was super tasty!
Haven’t eaten at Drago for over a year. They’ve done a great job adapting to Covid. I had my favorite double ribeye at my favorite table. Great food great service in downtown LA. Don’t forget the cannolis for dessert!

Piero and his staff are exceptional at what they do. This restaurant has become a favorite of mine after multiple flawless dining experiences, the food is at a quality and consistency that you usually only receive at a Michelin starred dining institution. The wine list is extensive and diverse with an obvious focus on Italian reds, but as ecclesiastical as rare and as highly valued vintages as certain Argentinian Malbecs that I wouldn’t dare name drop for fear they’d be out next time I dined here.
I recommend any of the carpaccios, the shaved artichoke salad, the agnolotti, and any of the larger mains. The kitchen is impressive in both their ability to blend traditional and contemporary authentic Italian cuisine, and their top tier quality and service. Bravo. Highly Recommended.

The worst experienced we had...let's just say if you are not a party of 4 or more, they won't notice you are there. The hostess waa nice but that's it!
Daniel our waiter only came by twice... To take our order and then to ask if we wanted drinks.
Our food didn't come out until an hour later, our drinks we're wrong.
When asked for a manager, he came and just apologized and ignored us kept attending the large party only.

I’ve been going to celestino’s restaurants for as long as I can remember. My boyfriends mother flew in from the east coast so of course for my birthday she wanted to take me there. Food was great but the service was a real issue. It was my birthday dinner, they rushed the appetizers out before we even got our drinks, getting water took us asking our waiter 4 times, then they brought the entrees out when we had not even finished our appetizers or barely started on drinks. So feeling rushed wasn’t great (especially because I saw tables opening left and right). I observed the nice manager go up and either greet or inquire about people’s meals yet he... forgot? to come to ours. As I was eating my entree the bussers came by and took bfs and his moms plate and left mine. This may be old school but etiquette (especially at fine dining like a celestino restaurant) is forever. To take 2/3 plates and leave one made me feel incredibly rushed and was frankly inappropriate. My bfs mom arranged for a birthday dessert and they forgot. It really was thing after thing. You can call me at 3109009791 if you’d like to talk about it. My expectations from a celestino restaurant have been diminished... I wanted to contact you here rather than publicly. I was upset for being unnecessarily rushed as well as bringing my bfs mother to a restaurant that we’ve only spoken very highly of. We walked out very dissatisfied to say the least.

My server seemed overwheled. Constantly needed to be flagged down after not coming to the table for 15 minutes at a time. And when I ordered another glass of wine, it took another 15 minutes until I got it, and that only happened since I remined him. No manger seemed to exist. They need to have more staff. Very very poor. I am used to Drago's other places and never have I seen such poor management.

My lamb loin dish came cold. The second it was hot but relatively bland. The truffle crusted chicken breast had zero truffle flavor.

We booked what OpenTable offered as outdoor, but we were seated inside upon arrival. It was fine with us as it was a particularly chilly evening, but if you're concerned about such things, it might be something to call ahead to confirm. It is a little odd, and maybe a bit jarring to be in a place that is so capacity-restricted, but the crew is doing an excellent job to make us all comfortable. Service was exceptional.
This was our second time here and we were hopping for a tasting menu like we'd had the first time. Not sure if it's not a regular thing or just because of covid, but no worries.
The dishes we had were outstanding. Started with Mussels and Clams and we each had pasta. Il Fazzoletto (handkerchief pasta, lump crab, arugula pesto, light chili flakes) and the Gli Agnolotti di Mais Guanciale e Salvia (Agnolotti filled with corn, smoked pork cheeks and sage). I really loved the latter of the two, but both were pretty delicious.
We finished with Affogatos and also had an old fashioned to begin and glass of wine with dinner. All were perfect.
Arguably the best restaurant in downtown LA. We were very well taken care of. Mark Sadr, the Sommelier, is extremely knowledgeable, helpful and gracious. Celestino DRAGO, the owner and chef, is very accomplished. Food was excellent. My wife’s branzino was the best she has ever had. DRAGO Centro is great for special occasions, foodies and gourmands. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who loves Italian food!

I actually had a very unpleasant experience here, the food was okay at best, I wasn't happen with the pasta I ordered and didn't want to send it back and have to deal with a server who was just about non-existent.
My wife and I spent 3 hours there for the DineLA 3 course dinner and we got acknowledged by our server 4 total times the entire meal and a drink refill twice the entire meal. I can understand if it was really busy and everyone was slammed but I was acknowledged by other servers more times than our own. I used to be a server myself so I understand what it can be like but with the food wait time and us hardly ever seeing our server I just wasn't happy with the experience and I strongly regretted spending my money here.
The waiter Marc is the best and of course all the helpers are excellent.
