DRAGO Centro’s unique interior is designed by acclaimed Los Angeles based designer Stanley Felderman, who is internationally renowned for creating modern buildings, interiors and product with a playful twist.
Nice vibe and good menu but service was not up to par and food was mediocre at best. Buratta appetizer was skimpy and boring. Sausage pasta was dry and tasteless. Waiter never got to our table and manager had to pick it up. Wine list is way overpriced on the by the glass selections. Would not go back.
Never disappointed and if you enjoy fine wine fo not miss the opportunity to splurge on a special selection that Fabio will be sure to select!
A first visit for four of us. Busy Saturday night; but they were very good about honoring our reservation; we were seated before very long. We all enjoyed our food. Good cocktails, good wine list. A definite Would Go Again.
Food was great. Service poor. Three hours for dinner then bill error.
We were disappointed with our most recent dining experience and have been to Drago 2 times prior. We were early for our reservation, but were not seated until 20 minutes after the reserved time, which was quite annoying. The tables for two are much too close together to enjoy and have a decent conversation. You're almost forced to have a conversation with an unknown neighbor. It was my wife's birthday and I noted it on the reservation, but she unfortunately did not enjoy dinner. We won't be returning. Maybe others have a different experience, however, this was not a good night at Drago for us. The server was fairly good, but again, too tight of a space to really enjoy. Thanks.
Food on point
Seared scallops and black truffle fettucini too die for
The dessert menu wasn’t that great. It needs something more enticing and more variety.
Hectic environment, great service, good food and drink.
One of the best Italian restaurants in Los Angeles.
Great truffle pasta!!
Very nice restaurant with authentic italian food on its best level!! Pasta with white truffle were outstanding! Pulpo and Scallops are yummy !! Service was very nice and kind!!
Service was under level, I had to ask 4x to get salt and pepper. Meal was tasteless and they did not offer parmesan cheese or fresh pepper as you would expect at an italian restaurant
Always awesome experience!!!
This might've been the worst dining experience I've ever had -- the drinks we ordered didn't come until after a third reminder.....the food was abysmal. If I ever have another person suggest going to this restaurant for a meeting, I'll decide to not work with them (ahead of the meeting) due to their poor judgement.
Very nice dining and becoming one of our regular prior to attending performances at Disney Hall.
We were disappointed with the experience. It took 20 minutes to get our drink orders (after we bugged them twice) and another 20-30 minutes for our entrees. The place was not that busy. The food was OK, but not worth the prices. We did like the fact that you could go directly from the parking area into the restaurant and that you could use the parking for the Music Center events after dinner. However, overall, the five of us agreed we would not recommend this place. Look elsewhere.
The up sell at this restaurant is beyond reasonable.
New Year’s Eve
In love with their Carbonara... Beautifully presented, and awesomely prepared.
Too expensive and not worth it. Wants to be more but just wasn’t good enough.
Family Christmas Eve Dinner. We were given a horrible table after not accepting a seat on the patio that was unacceptable due to the weather and way they had the heaters. This was a time for me and my sons to relax together after a beautiful mass at the cathedral. Our courses overlapped each other even when we requested that they slow down to allow us to enjoy our evening—- we were raced, never once did a waiter come to refill our wine glasses- did it ourselves- but they were quick to give us food even when not finished with previous course.
There are many excellent Italian restaurants downtown. I will never return to Drago and will tell anyone who asks never to return. Overpriced, food was much too salty and the staff dismissive. A total disappointment!
Ordered the Feast of the Seven Fishes.
The meal was delicious.
Food was exquisite and served hot, as good food should be served. All courses well-timed and nicely presented. Server attentive to our pace and preferences. Marvelous octopus as well as halibut, risotto
Drag Centro continues to be superb in every way, our downtown go to. If anything the food is even better than ever. The service is gracious, attentive and professional. The atmosphere can be romantic or great for business or watching the game in the bar. And all this praise from people who have tried literally every new, trendy place downtown.
The Fettuccine with mushrooms and fresh truffles(so fragrant) was amazing! The Tiramisu dessert.... astounding. I've had Tiramisu many, many times, but this was on a whole different level. Served in a small Mason Jar...looks simple, almost plain, but with just one taste I was blown away. Simply put the entire meal was stupendous!
A great place to have a special occasion lunch. Unfortunately, my lasagna was dry and burnt on top, so it wasn't as appetizing as I had hoped. I'm not inclined to order that dish again. My guest enjoyed her lunch. Service is always excellent.
The food was absolutely delicious! Highly recommend this place for all foodies near and far.
Excellent in all respects. Foot superb and attentative service.
Absolutely fantastic service and food. The wine list is great and we were impressed with the knowledge and recommendations from the team. Having just gonna to Italy this past summer, this is the only meal we’ve had in the states since that has actually lived up to authentic Italian cuisine.
