   So good to have a genuine vegan restaurant in the area. Menu is good, not overloaded, with a variety of choices. We went for the "seafood" themed platter. All tasted really nice, although for my taste it relied a little too much on the batter. We will definitely come back for more and try the other dishes. And I certainly recommend this place. They allow dogs, and thestaff is super friendly and attentive.

   Food sounded great from the menu, but to actually see it and taste it was fantastic. Beautifully presented and tasted so good. So much thought and effort must of been put into it.

   We’ve visited Dr Legumes several times, and the last few visits have just not been as good as before. It felt like our choices on the menu were being dictated by the waitress, and there were so many things that ‘couldn’t be done’ due to timing and everything being made to order. The starters took such a long time to arrive (40 mins), and the mains were slightly cold. I also noticed that the ice cream that was being served with the sticky toffee pudding was from a general tub of shop-bought ice cream. I could see this from the mezzanine which looks slightly into the kitchen. There is a charge for ketchup which I find quite ridiculous. It’s a bit of a shame how the quality seems to be waring off.

   Beautiful, well crafted and thoughtful food. Really cool ambience and always a great playlist. More lovely cushions or textiles would be my only (very female) feedback. But if you love food and enjoy cooking yourself, then rest assured you’re in the right place 💚

   Very unassuming restaurant in Folkstone but the food and service was exceptional. Would highly recommend, especially their Sunday Roast!

   Very well-cooked vegan food. Flavour's rich, vibrant and distinctive. Liked it very much. Super healthy, too, of course. As a dining experience, leaving aside the food and the very pleasant service, the venue is a bit 'cafe' like, but in a slightly old-fashioned way. They could spruce this up quite easily. So if it's a classy evening out you want, perhaps not, but for very good and tasty vegan food, served very nicely, then this is a good choice.
